Worth watching
This series has both good and less good parts but still worth to watchI'll start with good:
–Good story about family, love and finding truth with some action too
–little twist but the gave to much hints before revealing
–Except for evil family members start, later they show people caring for each other
–Likeable main characters. Female lead is emotionaly strong and inteligent while male lead is physically strong and inteligent. They help each other and are good duo.
–happy ending
Less good:
– slow, some scenes i skiped but not much
–if you expect romance you will get it but you will have to wait some longer time
–annoying evil concubines from her father and annoying 3rd wheel obsessed with fl, luckily one sided. (Usuall start xD)
–there is a second couple which i usually like but these were not so interesting.
Overall worth watching but with few episodes less it would be better and a bit sooner with romance part

Good but mismatched main leads
When I started this series I wanted to drop it because instead of chemistry between main leads we got feeling of older sister caring for her brother and forcefully adding the romance felt weird. Then I heard second leads get good chemistry and better romance than main leads could ever try to fake.As I watched it longer i started to like the story, fights and relationships between friends, comrades and family.
It would be better if they showed all fights instead of just showing animated pages of novel or manhwa, not sure what the series was adapted from. Not to mention when they made one fire saving scene half half so they made actors move but put a non moving walpaper behind them. It was as hilarious as it was lame.
Dilraba was perfect fit for female lead but in my opinion male lead should have been a bit older so we get some chemistry. Since Leo Wu was so young at that time neither of them could force it and it was clear as a day that she was like a mentor to him.
Overall series is good and it keeps you watching till the end. If you are here for the romance, you will get it but not between main leads, but between second leads yes.
After you accept disapointment in main leads "romance" ,show gets really good and second couple delivers instead.
OST is very good and hits you in the feels.
I gave it a 9 because i want to support good stories but it did have loopholes nearing ending of the series. It gave me a feeling like they hurried up to end it and didnt properly wrap out the Ashile tribe part of the story.

Lighthearted?...Not so sure...
Everyone saying its lighhearted comedy and comfort drama and im here crying my eyes out.I dont know about others but I never comfort myself by crying xD
Overall its a good watch. Characters are likeable so love triange is not annoying at all. FL is a bit out of her mind but not naive or annoying. I mentioned i cried a lot (so definitely not a comfort drama to watch when im anxious like others said) but it is true that i also laughed a lot.

Drama or trauma
O boy I wish I read summary of this story before watching to prepare. I started it thinking it's romcom and yikes, boxes of tissues are now empty just like my soul. Except for bawling my eyes out it was a decent watch. But one thing I can't understand is stupidity of FL when she was sick. Why the heck did she try to cook all the time when she was falling down and not able to control her arm? ... and with a child in a room. At one point I was like, ok just burn that house and get it over with lol... but we would have 4 episodes less to watch then. AigoWas this review helpful to you?
Good copy of The Double?
After watching "The Double" and "The Glory" I had to go see which one is 1st filmed and which 2nd. It seems "The Double" was 1st.Both are the same type of revenge story, even the title is similar.
Why I say the same:
Female leads were wronged
They return to the capital and start scheming their revenge.
Both are smart and dont fear anything.
They both meet high ranking official that takes interest in them and starts helping them
Both male leads are cold and sus at first.
Same family dynamic, jealous sister, power struggle
Slow burn romance
And not to mention same scene with a drum (you will see if you watch it both)
But most important not a single boring episode
As for the difference one has sword fights and war while other investigations.
Even tho overall, "The Double" is better, more emotional and has better development of supporting characters, The Glory gives us more satisfying ending except if you dont watch last 10 minutes of "The Double".
Since they made "The Glory" very good watch i didn't mind at all that its so similar and rating score difference between them is just by 0,5.
I had an urge to binge both and went to sleep at 4 am. I guess that means it's good right? Or better, watch them and judge it for yourself.

One of top five c–drama i watched so far
There are just no words to describe how good this is. From the story executed right for once, to the character development and very likeable supporting characters. This series long of 40 episodes kept me engaged from first to last without any boring moments, the romance was streched just enough that trough series you want more but can still wait till the end to fully develop.I was glad to see that on FL journey for revenge they showed loses on her end too.
This show made me feel deep emotions. The sadness on some scenes when backed up by music made my heart hurt. Drama was successful in transfering sadness, gladness and moving moments to viewers.
If i didnt watch last 10 minutes of the show i would give it 10/10, but well i watched it xD Not a bad ending but if they finnished the series 10 minutes earlier (which would still fully wrap out the story) it would be much more satisfying.
Even with those 10 minutes its still one of the most recommended shows. It deserves all its rating or rather it should be even higher. It was intense journey for the viewers so embrace yourself but dont miss it.
