I too watched her Love in Flame of War but couldn't finish it because of the overall plot lol. But I saw her in Till the End of the Moon where she was one of the villain, her acting there was good too. Also saw her in Mysterious Lotus Casebook, her character wasn't as complicated but she did her part well same in My Journey to you, tho she was a guest star there.
I find it actually really great for her to readily take on supporting roles and improve on her acting skills whilst garnering experience before taking on main roles.
I'm guessing Pei Wenxuan and ZhenZhen does not see each other as lovers but more like siblings who only harbors care for each other but not necessarily love like lovers. Su Rongqing has further devious intentions (I think) despite his family not being massacred yet or the twist might be that he too remembers the past (this all a speculation from me.) Overall, the story is great so far I just hope the relationship between Li Rong and Pei Wenxuan wouldn't be where Pei Wenxuan is always giving and giving and Li Rong is just taking and taking. Hope their relationship evolves already to a more openly romantic one.
