If I'm not yet too late it ends on a cliffhanger and has a sequel but with a different cast, I find that irritating.
Okay fair enough, don't remember much of the beginning of the show as it's been a while but I thought I liked it more than the latter half so I guess you made the right decision, and now that you mention it the show does indeed feel a bit like that even though I didn't realize when watching it.
Hi! I just finished this series. So is Li Chengdao , Wanqing's dad?
Li Chengdao was the old guy with the mask who died at the end right? If so, that would make a lot of sense, I couldn't even understand why Wan Qing was gunning for the emperor at the end again, I forgot all about her past if it was even explained.
Am I the only one that was sad Ki Jung died? :/ she was the only one in their family that I likedOther than that,…
Yeah I was saddened as well, I would also like to have seen whatever happened between Gi Woo and Park Da Hye because that scene at the end where she carries him was quite nice.
A generally good and fun movie. It does kind of remind me of Pirates of the Caribbean(sharing a likewise theme too) with the goofy but smart main character. The story's nicely played out, even though I had to take 2 days to finish it I still felt for the farmers at the end. I however do have a problem with the execution of some scenes. Multiple times it felt to me like they could've taken another cut because either the actor's performance or the storyboard didn't feel right to me. Either way, I still had plenty of laughs and I could enjoy this movie. I don't want to be nitpicky about the fact that the detective and the girl didn't get together at the end or some of the transitions inbetween scenes felt off. Because this was an all around great movie to watch and I would like to recommend it to anyone interested.
Yea it's so annoying. So many problems with this series. I really like it. This drama is like the old Chinese…
Same here man, I ended up just watching 2 of the raw cantonese episodes. On my iPad with the live google translate on my phone. I guess it did somewhat help though I'm still somewhat confused. I also still haven't finished the drama now. I can't see if you've finished it, are you planning on doing it?
Lmaooooo, this will surely not help the Chinese creativity. Hoe can such things still be banned in this day and age. Glad I live in a rather 'free' country.
3 episodes in this needs way more Jounouchi, she's so cute!!! Ebina's performance in episode 4 was so good, I'm blown away. And the last episode is pefect, that's a very nice conclusion of the series.
Perfect movie, haven't watched many movies about Sun Wukong but this one is even better than The Forbidden Kingdom movie. Acting, cinematography and CGI on point, I highly reccomend this!
You're saying that like it isn't possible anymore.
That's just a very negative thing I'd like to forget about right now lol. Very true nonetheless, though,I think it's kinda weird what they did with the series' ending. I mean I've only watched three kdramas by now but in my experience they've always wrapped the series up nicely in the last two episodes ( sometimes even a bit desperately with the unveiling and the handling of the bad guy.)But in Liar Game I feel like they wanted to make a second season even when they could've just wrapped it up without any plotholes. Don't want to start a discussion btw, just wanted to get this out of me, and you're right.
Ebina's performance in episode 4 was so good, I'm blown away.
