The brother’s behaviour is over dramatic. I understand in season 1, he is protective towards FL, but she has been married for 3years, he should have accepted and be happy for her and stop behaving this way 😓.

Amazing drama!!! Since autopsy plays a major role in this drama, I wish they could have shown it in bit more detail. She had lot of tools but we are not shown how she uses it.

Would love to see more of ML for him ;)

Mu Huai Hu was absolutely fabulous as Eunuch Qin Luan and made a great villain. I can't get that voice out of my head, it really made the character. One of the many things I love about the chinese historical dramas is the fabulous roles, like this one, they have for the more mature actors to display their immense acting abilities. Well done Eunuch Mu Huai Hu, you made this such an interesting drama.

Good drama to watch if you like investigation and forensic type. Some light romance with happy ending.

Definitely mystery. Romance is a subplot that helps the narrative.

FL is very young who has first time stepped out of her village ( that too from a village where everyone ignored them) so when she meets a upright , helpful and sensitive official in such a big position like ML she is bound to act like she met pop artist idol lol. Why cant she admire the person who treated her so well and is the personification of the ideal "judge" whose stories she has been listening since she was a kid. I found their interaction normal not over the top. For once ML & FL are not pig headed but communicate like normal people. Admire each other for their talents openly and actually listen to each other.

I think it's great that all the actors from season 1 are back.

Wow, I never would have thought there would be a season 2. But I'm all for it!
