I haven't seen the HK one, so I guess I'm not missing anything? I'm not familiar with Krit so I don't have an opinion about him doing Kurosawa at the moment but I agree with you that Kurosawa is very important.
I think it's as simple as it makes more sense for GMMTV's market for him to be younger, hotter, and not married.
After posting this I watched Ossan's Love: In the Sky, where Kurosawa has a daughter that is also interested in Haruta. Then I thought that maybe this Thai version is taking elements from the different sequels.
With me it's the opposite. I love Maki, i can't see Mix in this character.
I just watched the trailer. It's going to be OK for those Earth/Mix fans that didn't watch the Japanese version since the original plot is solid, chaotic and funny.
For those that watched the Japanese version it's going to be disappointing. Performance wise there's no depth from Earth, he's just delivering lines with blank expressions. As for Mix, he got it easier than Earth but still laking the sweetness and wittiness of Hayashi- loved his fights with Kurosawa.
I don't know why but Tony from PitBabe came to my mind. 😂 Maybe he could make an evil twisted chaotic and funny Kurosawa.
