It's a good drama, I liked it. The only thing I would change is the protagonist, I wish she were a little more…
Honestly, I just think the writer did a bad job on her character, nothing to do with the actress. Already from the first episode her character appears immature and silly. Shame, cause I actually liked that for once a drama was picking up a theme like premature menopause.
You have chosen this one as your first ever kdrama?
You're not wrong. Everything Woo Do Hwan is starring in, is mainstream (and, unpopular opinion; overrated). If you're in the mood for a rom-com that is a little more quirky and slightly less mainstream, try Mad for Each Other.
I'm considering watching can u tell me what's cringe about it is it both leads, one lead or what
I guess itβs the bad drama tropes. Guy has mommy issues, is a fuck boy, meets cute girl who βfixesβ him etc. Poster promises something dark and mature, itβs not mature at all.
I really enjoyed it up to episode 7, but after that, in my opinion, it went downhill. It became silly and sometimes…
I literally came on over here to see if anyone else had commented on the silliness π Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect it to be all that serious going in, but damn. This drama was SO unserious.
Yea lmao but even then the drama is god awful with one of the worst antagonists Iβve seen in media.
This is not even a lie, OP wouldn't be missing out π At times, I wondered if they got AI to write this. It literally had every cliched trope in it. They tried to make it appear new by having the FL be the rich, arrogant jerk instead of the ML, not sure I'd say they succeeded. But definitely wasn't the worst thing I've watched by far. It had some funny moments.
as someone who's never been that interested in iu or park bogum as actors, they've really impressed me with their…
Never liked IU's acting. And I didn't even realize it was her until the female lead started annoying the shit out of me and I looked up the cast to find out it was her. π Bogummy is another story, though. If you haven't been that interested in him before, you simply haven't watched enough dramas with him. He's precious.
One of the best rated dramas on MDL... and I had to drop it. Was a huge bore festival, neither the acting nor…
Literally came on here because of the front page article. Was scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else other than me had dropped this π I dropped it at ep 6. I agree, was a borefest and the main female lead (young adult version) was annoying af. But I can see that A LOT of people were crazy about this drama, praising it to the skies. Makes one wonder if one should give it another chance.
It's not that the show wants to forget they ever existed. It's just a known fact that people go completely into…
Don't forget to add that she came out with him not from the main entrance (where everybody including medics are awaiting for them) but from some secret side/back door so they could have their little moment (guy inhaled CO, is literally unconscious but luckily wakes up just in time to serve us some lip action π) and the fake husband/best friend standing behind the bushes seeing them kiss and finally deciding to give up on pursuing her - everything was written so perfectly it all worked out π
EDIT: They also managed to weave in the dad/mom-slaps-ML's-love-interest (with or without kimchi) trope, I just reached that part. ππππ€£

Sis, this has SO much bad writing don't even get me started the sister is just a plot device, a lot of those in this drama. It's cute and all, but the cringe is real, let's be honest π I enjoyed it at the beginning, because Da Rim's struggle was real and relatable, then they turned everything rosy and happy pretended stuff didn't happen people didn't happen (sisters, loan sharks, real-life issues), threw in all the romcom tropes known to man, reserved 1 episode for the main female character to feel bad about her choices, stirred it all well, and hoped no one would notice.
Did ryang eum like hyun romantically, I don't understand his feelings
They showed a scene from their past where it was hinted that Ryang Eum was (physically, emotionally and probably also sexually) abused by his master when he and Jang Hyun were slaves in the same household. Jang Hyun saved him once and he likely confused that with love.

I didn't check the tags before starting on this (I never would have, if I had seen the melo tag ππ) but I assumed from the first few eps that Ryang Eum was 100% in a one-sided love with Jang Hyun. There were a lot of hints to it. See spoiler below.

(And yes, I clicked on this because of the title π€£)

No, seriously, I would like to know as well. And why did he have gray hair? And who was he talking to? So many questions.
