Two lifetimes they belong to you, no regrets ππ
π―π―π― December will come. December will start a new era for danmei lovers. Oh, westerners prepare, we won't spare you muhahahahahaha πππ
Yes, I also have all four volumes of tgcf and the two books of Tian Ya Ke. Next would be 2ha vol. 2 and MDZS lol I just find the books really beautiful and also I like the idea, that I can support my fav authors like this. Yes, please, 2ha donghua would be the highlight of my life omg! And I really hope it will come out soon! I want to meat E-Ming! And Yin Yu! And seeing Paradise Manor and Ghost City? After the beauty of the Heavens? Please, yes! And I CAN'T WAIT to see the opening! The op of s1 is just AMAZING! The style! The music! Worthy in every way possible for this epic storyπππ No fr, no matter what anybody says and no matter what luck Xie Lian may have (or not have) all adaptations of TGCF have been blessed! Look at the production of the donghua πππ And having STARember as the illustrator for the official manhua?!ππππ And the cast for the LA??? πππππ
πππ Now go and rewatch the first episode of the untamed and you will be shocked πππ
Tbh I didn't realise it at my first watch as well XD Actually I knew NHS was the one behind the scenes before starting the untamed, but I can't remember how I did find out lmao
Honestly, it's different with every costumer. I gladly do my job without talking and I often tell the people, they shouldn't be surprised bc of my silence, I'm the least talkative hairdresser I know lmao And most of the times, the costumers appreciate my quietness. Especially since my both co-workers are the complete opposite of me - very talkative and loud ππ I even enjoy more to listen to them talking than speaking myself. (I'm more talkative with strangers online than with anyone irl lmao) But there are always exceptions. Sometimes you have someone you hit it off with from the start and you can talk about everything. And sometimes, however, a subject comes up that I really love to talk about, like books, tattoos or music. Than it's a pleasure to chit chat. And then there are costumers who initiate a conversation - you may be surprised how many come to us, not only bc of a hair-cut or styling, but also for entertainment and as an escape from their everyday life. Sometimes they need someone to listen to their problems . People talk about everything, about illnesses, lost, divorce, problems at their working places, fights with family members, but also about having a child or going to vacation. There's a reason why hair-dressers are also said to be part-time therapists. I did have costumers crying and laughing, heartbroken and happy. And I struggle often to respond, bc I don't know what is the best say. As for rude or unfriendly costumers - there are so many variations. Some are arrogant and show offs - be it intellectual or financially, who like to show us that we are minor to them. It's always a pleasure to proof them otherwise, at least when it comes to intelligence. Sometimes people just go into a hair dresser salon only to nag, no kidding. Then there are the kind of costumers I told you about before - actually, you just know if they expect you to respond and conservative with them - they mostly are lost in a monologue and only briefly stop now and then, just for you to nod. I can't even explain it, it's really obvious. Maybe it's just the time that strengthens your senses for stuff like this. We also learn about body-language, facial-expressions (which is more difficult thanks to the masks) and gesturing.
Btw, if you were my costumer and you'd bring a book - I'd totally ask you about it lol Sometimes costumers enjoy to converse with me about books, but once you open the book, or would start reading in your kindle, I wouldn't bother you if not necessary. There is nothing more annoying than someone disrupting you while reading Then there are costumers, like I mentioned previously
Two lifetimes they belong to you, no regrets ππ
True, so true! They really would deserve being called "World Best Author", sadly it's "BestSELLER"π So... I can't wait for December, just to annoy everyone viral and irl with the "BEST BOOKS I'VE EVER READ" so they will become more known. XD
Yes! Even though it may not happen before HYX has aired, so they can see how people will react to it, before taking on the donghua. Especially since the danmei future is kinda unstable, at least at the moment. Lmao I even bought the Chinese novel, just because I wanted to have a physical copy π But only the first vol. When there is a time, when I'm not broke anymore, I will get the second as well. Now I only have to decipher, what the heck all the characters mean ππ
Yeah, tbh I don't care that much anymore what strangers do think about me, but I can't help getting furious when I see people judging others bc of whatever. It's difficult to work as a open minded person at a place, where you have to interact with all kinds of people. Most of them are not as bad, gladly, but then sometimes you have this one intolerant, judgemental person who is telling you his thoughts, feeling in the right to discriminate others bc of idk work, race, politics, sexual orientation and what else, and you have to decide wether to stay silent and nice or open your mouth and risk to anger the costumer. Most of the times, that's when start a "friendly" argumentation upon my own thoughts, and sadly you can see often, how much the person before you doesn't like what you are saying. That's one of the things I really hate about my job - the expectation that you will always try to please the costumer in any way, even agreeing to everything they say. Thank god, my co-workers are all individuals and we always can speak our mind. I know from other hair dressers a lot of awful stories and I am glad that I'm working at a place, were I don't have to act and be someone I'm not.
very good, keep that going XD
Oooooooohhhh yesses! That's the spiritππΌππΌππΌππΌππΌβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
The only thing is, it's so good, you just want to linger in it lol I bet 2ha will be the next one! I mean, Suika is doing the TL anyways, so the chances are good, 7seas will license it as well! And so many fans are crying for it to get official tl (before anything is happening to it what happens to priest novels)I'm voting every month for it to be licensed, so fingers crossed
It's a pretty good start into danmei genres I believe, even if it's long for western measures. Ah, I really can't wait to hold it in my hands π π
Two lifetimes they belong to you, no regrets ππ
FR! That's why, even when I didn't really like the story or the MC/ML in a book, I would still give it all the stars, when it makes me FEEL! From all western books there were only two books, which have made me cry, but even these two didn't touch me as much as any danmei novel has. Chinese authors are truly gifted!
Well that would be nice, but sadly I believe, that understanding has nothing to do with languages. People will always be judgemental. I see this, whenever I am in my gothic mood. I have to wear black anyways for work, but when I'm walking around with my boots, skull-t-shirts and ripped jeans and having make-up on, you can see the kind of look people are giving you (at least outside the hair salon). It's different from what the way way they are looking at me, when I'm in my casual wear. Unfortunately the same goes with culture. I mean, it's even the same with masks and vaccinations - working in a hair salon you really get to have ... interesting experiences with peopleπππ
I think this is really cool! You really making me want to start too lol Fr respect girl! Keep goingπͺπΌππΌ

You can say, that I have strong empathy, ig.

And WYB is too cool to be banned lmao Don't think, that will ever happen XD
