Ig I'll take Huaisha as well ... I mean, Tianwen is awesome, really, but you can't fly on it ...
I fell for both but more bc of the bts clips and interviews And yes, I admire him for that! He is chasing his dreams no matter what and he got so far due to hard work, no matter what difficulties life threw at himπ And that's already with a very young age!
Yup! But it can be funny as well, I mean, sometimes the result before your eyes is just so ridiculous that it makes me laugh so hard π But yeah, trying to read a novel like this? Not in this lifetime, thank you very much, I need my braincells intact lol
Well, it's my mother language ... but it's funny when we talk, half German, half Greek, if you listen to us and understand only one language, you totally would be like "wtf?????!" And in my mind, thinking is even more hilarious - German, Greek, English, and thanks to Anime and Danmei Japanese and Chinese too ... Sometimes I really have to stop myself from saying to a costumer something like "xiexie ni" or "honto ni?" ππππ
My respects, really! I wish I had the time to do that. Sometimes I wish the lockdown back, so I could have more time π But ig you are right with writing and reading being easier to understand, it's easier when you can see something. When you memorise something you can see, it's not as problematic to remember the pronunciation.
Lol than you would have to MTL it ππ That would be probably more easier to the eye than Chinese to English, but ... oh well ππ
I wish! No it's English, German and Greek. I tried to learn Japanese, like I can mostly read Hiragana and some Katakana, but then you have Kanji and I don't have the time to develop my understanding. I know some phrases and words, same with Chinese, that's all, but nothing of it is a value. I can't even ask someone where to go, so I would get 100% lost whenever I may travel to Japan ππ
Ig I'll take Huaisha as well ... I mean, Tianwen is awesome, really, but you can't fly on it ...
Right!πͺπΌ
I did and they are incredible!!!! I better don't even try! We had dancing in music lesson in 7th grade and no ... just no .... especially not pair dance ugh π
πππ I didn't expect you to read it hahaha ...
Yeah, that really comes in handy lol Well while is a beautiful language it also is very very difficult, at least to me and I'm trilingual ππ Japanese is way more easy ig
Ig I'll take Huaisha as well ... I mean, Tianwen is awesome, really, but you can't fly on it ...
You are right on that. But either way there should nothing and no one ever be able to discourage you from doing whatever you want to do. I admire everyone who can dance lmao π
Lol I think about novels like these "oh, something for in-between!" like Peerless Immortal Surrounded by Demonic Disciples. Although ... Sha Po Lang has less than 200 chapters as well right? XD
It's on Wattpad so basically everyone can read it lol And yes, it's in German, bc my English is far away from being good enough to write a novel this way lol
To that I can't compare, there are always some words I don't know in English and have to google the meaning of π But I have to say, nonetheless in English everything sounds just beautiful and great but in German ... oh boy, no ... If I could I would have chosen to write in English as well, some sentences can be phrased in such poetic way and it doesn't even sounds weirdπ
Ig I'll take Huaisha as well ... I mean, Tianwen is awesome, really, but you can't fly on it ...
Don't think like that! An artist I follow on YT said in one of his videos, that if you see someone who is at the point where you want to be, take this as your inspiration ... He's right, otherwise many artists would have banned Instagram, Pinterest etc out of their life long ago lmao
Oh wow lmao For me it was pretty simple - I searched for recommendations based on my fav Anime and Mo Dao Zu Shi donghua kept showing of. So I tried it, was baffled by the visuals, the story telling and the music and found in the comment section out, that it not only have more adaptations, but also the original source is a novel. Me, being a book lover, just had to look it up (although I read the manhua first lol) I saw a summery of MXTX's novels and started with Tian Guan Ci Fu - so MDZS introduced me to danmei in general, but TGCF was my first danmei novel to read ... the rest is history π
Ig I'll take Huaisha as well ... I mean, Tianwen is awesome, really, but you can't fly on it ...
Yes, I am a perfectionist and I'm pretty insecure as well lmao worst combination ever XD I did that too! But the best way is actually to work with reference! If I try a pose I can't actually draw, I search for pictures, to see what it looks like, same with hands. l'm still struggling a lot, but it does help!
Soul-sister π I know exactly what you're talking about!
Hmm... I'm not sure if agree to this one ... A lot of bestseller authors did start with writing as a hobby and/or side-job, before changing it to main profession. It's not the amount of time you spend on it, but the heart your putting in. If people love what you do, that's how will find recognition, so don't put it off like that π
You sure about this? lol I first have to bring my lazy butt to sit down and start writing again lmao At least I did explain to my readers, why I'm off sometimes and I did warn them, that it might take me some time, before the next chapter is uploaded, but, well yeah ...
Lol, no my first story has 120+ chapters, but it's not finished, lol but still many people start reading it, although I tagged it as "on hiatus". The current on is only at chapter 19, so go figure how long I'm going to work on it, when I suspect it to have an equal length as 2ha even if not morπππ (I doomed myself here) The problem is rather, that I do write in German ... Maybe I will one day find the time to TRY to tl it into English, but ... oh well, Never say never lol π
Haha, I can't wait for it! XD (Dare you if not!lol)
Ig I'll take Huaisha as well ... I mean, Tianwen is awesome, really, but you can't fly on it ...
Hands are cursed! And proportions! And angles! And clothes! And backgrounds! Lmao There are sketches and pictures I hide, that shall never see the light of the world bc everything is just wrong! πππ
No no no, I'm doing it on a volunteer basis - but I can read the book like this for free lol And I can get some insides of the working process, which I always thought being very interesting :D
Good question, that I don't know tbh. Maybe some do, and some don't. In the end, that's profession with no regulations. That's why being an author is my dream job - I know no other profession who spells freedom like this π
If I do, that's good XD And that's a good idea! Btw - will you let me read it, when you finish something?π
Ig I'll take Huaisha as well ... I mean, Tianwen is awesome, really, but you can't fly on it ...
Lmao I swear the hair is always my main issue, but thank youππ Yeah, that would be cool, but π€·π»ββοΈ in the end, I can tell you like this π
For example, the author I'm proofreading for, she doesn't know, where the Story is going and how what will happen next. And she already published the first four books of this series, so ... It's not uncommon for authors to experience the story while writing and for some stories it doe perfectly. I did that with my previous one, which is YA/NA comedy romance, but for the one I'm writing now it would never work out, since it is really heavy on plot and foreshadowing and if I'm not cautious I could spoiler something, I didn't want to. It is btw a high fantasy/danmei story with cultivators lmao. When thinking about the foreshadowing in 2ha, I can't believe that Meatbun doesn't work on the plot beforehand. At least the core plot and specific aspects she already had to know, for example that Mo Ran is a BBB, the first hint was in chapter 1. As the story progresses you can see the hints for other things too, but it could be, that she did realise these small things later too. In the end every mind works differently
And I know that Chinese authors do change things afterwards, that's why TLs always talk about the "Raws". It did happen, that for example the TL of SVSSS was a lil bit different than it will be when it is published after licensing, bc the prior TL was from the raws, but the licensed one will be the TL of the polished novel (even the TL of the non-licensed novel did say at in the footnotes of one chapter, that the original one had change a lil bit in for example the chronological order of chapters or something), or there have been some author's notes, in which the writer did say, that they did go back and changed something (I did see that in WuChanJie). So that is not impossible :)
And yes, I admire him for that! He is chasing his dreams no matter what and he got so far due to hard work, no matter what difficulties life threw at himπ And that's already with a very young age!

I know, that I have to remember the radicals, which are part of every kanji character, but I realised since spending more times in danmeiland even the Kanji I know I don't remember them as for example 倩 is not "ten" anymore like in "tengoku" but "tian" π So far I remember 10 or so characters with Chinese meaning and one more with Japanese meaning ... that's nothing compared to the 1000+ characters existing
Thank God ,we didn't have mirrors in the music room. But ANYWAYS ... I'm pretty sure you have your own attainments which are just awesomeπ
I wish! No it's English, German and Greek. I tried to learn Japanese, like I can mostly read Hiragana and some Katakana, but then you have Kanji and I don't have the time to develop my understanding.
