I think It’s their chemistry.. I was totally hooked on the first one when she fell off the roof and he didn’t catch her !! lol.
loved their bickering and how she stayed true to who she was, challenged him ..and how he really got to know her...became so protective and loving to her
I hated waiting for subs so I found it raw (on a terrible site that had all kinds of glitches) .... I persevered (and have since found better raw C drama site) LOL.

So

I’m up to episode 24 then it’s raw....does anyone know if it’s still being subbed?

That s what I was thinking.. everything he does says “he cares for her” I think the deity is trying to push him into “real love” to deliver him from the curse of being doom. I wondered if he had tried to take his life or had done something that made him become doom and feel the pain of loneliness...

Wow...you’re not kidding....kind of puts a damper on dating :) I guess the fans kind of look at it like “ no one is good enough for their. Idol.
I’m watching so I married an anti fan and it’s the same kind of obsession, both dramas are really good.. so many great dramas out right now:)

They are really funny. I’ve never seen the FL in anything but she has great comedic timing and chemistry with the ml.
. I was wondering about why ML was going to date her. I hope they keep up the comedy with the romance.. I’m watching this

Is there any romance in this drama?

I’m seriously enjoying this drama.. it’s totally not what I usually watch but I’m hooked. The leads and cast are all really good. I had no idea how much work goes into becoming a star.. I was a bit surprised at how the fans are..wondering if it’s a bit overdone..? Do they really have that much power?

Either way.. I like how they show how dedicated and difficult it is and how you have to give up so much with no assurance that you really will ever succeed. The ML looks like he has an interesting back story and I would like to know more about the FLs back story too.

. I really want to know more about him showing her the dance..I hate waiting for the next episodes bc it just that good!! The epilogue also are so interesting:)

This is one of the funniest dramas I’ve seen in a while!! He’s deadpan serious and she’s a comic genius.. the scene where she is rolling around to avoid the guy had me hysterical.. ... and I am not a fan of bathroom humor (at all) but the clogged toilet scene was one of the funniest things I’ve seen...ever...I laughed so hard. So many other funny. Scenes but then I’d have to put in spoilers . :D
I wasn’t sure about watching it but so far so good:)

I re-watched it and noticed that FL didn’t miss a beat when he disappeared..she just stood there and said “reset” the deity said “ disappear “ ..both seemed to understand that something had either gone wrong .. or not gone according to plan... but what is the plan..?how long has he been doom?..I was wondering that when he was :crying” t his moms funeral then how old is he..?
There’s a god possibility that as you mentioned this is not their first time.

The deity seemed to want them to be together ..she kept asking doom questions about how he viewed certain things... hopefully we will get some questions answered next week..
in the interim I’m going to check out “my roommate is a gumho.. and Friday is “so I married an anti fan..(I’m enjoying the dramas this month :)

Oh..another thing...he seemed very “human” and “in love” when he bent down to kiss her .enjoying the rain and being with her...it was only after he stopped he seemed to snap back in to his reality. So I also think he was human and did have something to do with Fl at some point .. and he kept wanting to hold her hand..that’s a big thing with him ..he wanted to closeness from the beginning.and he did seem to find ways to be with her.

Hmm ..interesting point.. that might explain why they connected with each other so fast and how only she “sees” the actual him.
Also he was crying at his “a moms” funeral so he must have been human at some point.. (and the deity made sure to show her that)
I wondered why the writer took us so quickly into the romance but now that they are separate I see there’s a lot more to the relationship. And the story may have a whole mother arc.

The FL is quick to grasp the hidden things. I’m enjoying this drama wondering what happens next. Happy or sad ending...these two really have amazing chemistry

The 2nd leads are interesting..hope to see more of them.. sb interesting whoever the 2nd FL ends up with..although my preference is Cha Joo.

If it’s a remake of strong woman bon soon then count me in:)LOVED that drama. Although the chemistry of the original leads will be hard to match..:)

I’m really enjoying it. It got a good plot and the leads are not your typical “one is perfect and one is not” they both are flawed and have trust issues, but they make each other be better people and face themselves. The way they deal with each other is at times funny sweet and not always kind...I like their imperfections. They do have nice chemistry

https://youtu.be/cRbUfQjFnxg. This was a” I married an anti fan “ mix that I was watching and I realized that because she stands away from to observes him..he can come forward . He’s so used to everyone being in his space and grabbing at him ..she is his place where he can be himself. And he has to come forward because she really doesnt ....she speaks and observes ..showing him her disapproval and questioning his ,true nature.

I love the snarky looks and little attacks they give each other and how they”speak” with their faces and gestures. I think she makes him aware of the fact that he isn’t “real” to himself or others and in trying to appear perfect he’s not growing as a person.

I really like how she holds herself as keeps her pride no matter what is thrown at her . The last part of episode 8 where she speaks her truth was so important for them to move forward together or apart. I do see the chemistry between the two but I can see how they both have huge trust issues..so it should be interesting moving forward .. I am enjoying the drama and if I could I would binge all the episodes so this is on my “hate waiting for the next episode list..:)

The second couple needs counseling..I can see that he likes her but does he like her bc Tae Joon liked her? t Joon keeps saying he doesn’t care and he keeps walking away.. but with her does she want the friendship? Or a relationship? Or is she missing the trio of them from the past?

On the whole I think 2nd FL needs to grow a spine and speak .....you’ve been with this other person for 6 years and you still can’t say what you want..? (That’s me yelling at the drama!:). ... but lately as I watch it more and more I’m wondering if the 2nd couple really are a couple..? They don’t hold hands so is he just her ceo? ...anyhoo. Gotta wait til next week.. but my other absolute favorite is on tomorrow.....Doom......:D
And I think “my roommate is Gumho “ starts this week too.

Her voice has definitely has grown on me.:). She is really funny..I laughed out loud from episode 9 to 12. The quick wit between her and the ML..so well done.. ..and I love the the 2nd male lead is just so easy going.. they interact so,easily, like you would think they are all friends in real life.

She and the two male leads are really funny. I love how she doesn’t take herself too seriously. I’m hoping the other FL love interest gets more time in this..she’s gonna have an interesting back story ...I’m Totally enjoying this drama:)

I just finished episode 7 and it’s adorable.. the FL I initially thought was childish..but she can stand up for herself and knows how to not be manipulated. Her voice suits her character and she grows on you . (It’s a bit childlike sing-song kind of voice..like a young girlish voice) I see that in some of the Chinese dramas, so maybe that’s just a way of speaking. But it does suit her and it deflects you from realizing she’s actually a strong minded person with a purpose ..and she does get things done:).. love her dad..he’s so sweet:D

I think that’s what the ML likes ..her honesty wrapped in sweetness with a side of subtle manipulation..
I really do like the second lead, he’s an interesting character. I love the friendship of the two MLs ..just hope we don’t have a falling out of sorts. I’ve never seen a drama with Esther or the ML so I’ll check out what else they have done. Nice chemistry, interesting story, funny ..I’ll stick with it.

Sometimes when she looks at him her eyes are so filled with understanding and empathy.. she gets him on a level that others could not.. two lonely “isolated” people .. at first I thought it was becaus she is dying ..but then when she was folding the laundry and said how she had not done anything with her life it made sense that she’s been disconnected from herself since her parents died..he’s been disconnected for as long as he can remember..
I wondered also wondered about the funeral scenes.. he was crying which means there’s a heart in there somewhere....and I agree with you that they balance each other.
Once she put herself in harms way to protect him it totally changed their relationship. I realized later on that he said “don’t look” and she didn’t..she trusted him and he protected her....I’m pretty sure ..that’s trust..and .that’s love. Lol

Totally addicted to this drama.. there is a depth to both characters that we find out little by little.. both are afraid to “live” in their own way.. FL realizes her life has been a series of “never realizing any of her dreams”.
She stopped looking for happiness when her parents died. In her own way she’s been going through the motions and not really expecting much. Same thing every day..and she’s resentful of it (& I think she’s starting to see it) I’m not sure but it looks like she’s a bit of a recluse bc they haven't shown her hanging out with friends or going out after work.

Same with doom. But in his case “life” was taken from him. He sees only the ugly side of people and has no expectations .. all he wants is the end ..the only friend he has is someone who suffers so humanity can have hope.. he has no hope.. I wonder if the deity brought them together to teach them to trust/live .expect....not sure

The romance really to me is “a spark...a sort of connection” ..both of them have disconnected from life. So this spark of potential between them - is in a way giving them meaning for living.

I totally get the romance/connection because if you were going to die in a few months and had no one wouldn’t you reach out to something..just so someone remembers you ... and he is “intimate “ in his own way with her..he has strong eye contact (he notices her, sees her ..when others just glance) he totally comes into her personal space and is obviously attracted to her) and she has a soft spot for him..totally has empathy for him (i wonder if it’s because he is similar to her..wanting love but deflecting it and not wanting to be vulnerable)

So that’s my thought.. kudos to the writer. The leads are just awesome.. the eye contact, chemistry back story (still waiting to hear more about how he came to be) and the development of their attraction to each other is so good. I love to dissect the characters to really understand what makes them do what they do....:)
She’s going to die soon (and on that note..I’m not sure what will happen) and he wants to be done... so how they will go through the process os loving? trusting ? Living?....so many possible outcomes

I didn’t watch it yet but the comments say it’s an open ended ending..so if it’s not happy I usually don’t watch it:)
