Thank you💕💕💕 - this helps me prepare for the future angst/third wheel/ex-girl-friend story arc - which I HATE, but I admit are a staple of k-drama, especially ones that are 16 episodes. 😥
After a few episodes, my FF button was working EXCEPT when the teens were on. Their story - their successes, their…
Haha and apologies - I was trying to reply to JiReN (who also appreciated the teens). and didn't mean to trivialize your comment.
Glad you enjoyed every minute - variety of taste/preferences is what makes the world so enjoyable . Tbh, my ability to sit down and watch a show with Eng Sub is very limited. After a year of watching K-drama I'm resigned to the fact that many of the shows I start seem to go sideways at the 2/3 or 3/4 mark. I'm looking forward to watching Hai-yi/Sun Jae moments. 😍
My heart still hurts after what they did to ChoDang in Part 2 AoS. 😥😥😥😥
Final episode rating is 17.038, enough to break into top 10 of the highest rated paid drama. Yay! Roh Yoon seo…
After a few episodes, my FF button was working EXCEPT when the teens were on. Their story - their successes, their stress and their loyalty were endearing.
The movie won "Best International Feature" award at the UK Raindance Film Festival (2022) with the following mention:
"When Hoyeon searches for his mother after her unexplained disappearance, he uncovers a violent and revolutionary past. SWALLOW (dir: Hee-il Leesong, Korea) is the story of an ignorant young man with little interest or control over his life, transforming into a tense thriller exploring love. Revolution and identity."
I'm only interested because Yoo In-soo is one of the main characters. If it doesn't come to Netflix, I won't be paying much attention.
Friendly reminder for those who say the thriller part comes out of nowhere, literally the first scene in the first…
It was marketed as a "bittersweet romance". The first scene you mention appeared to be a "mystery". but once the antagonist was obvious (ep 6? 8?) it became a thriller. And if folks around here want to drop it or walk away - then not sure why anyone is concerned about their decision/choice.
I'm only halfway thru Ep. 4, but now there are TWO women that will be easy to hate - Hee-ja AND Min Young. I hope Karma-with-a-capital-K is their destiny.
It's original series on Disney+ without airing on any TV network. Disney+ does it similarly with Big Bet
What time does it release?? The last time I watched something on Disney+ (Asia) with my VPN, it was 5:00 pm KST/midnight PST - but that was when we were in Daylight Savings.
Sorry but they didn't have to hurt my rom-com heart like this 😞🤚🏻i started this with so much excitement…
I'm in the same position, but I paused at Ep. 9 and I will binge once the show is complete. Mildly interested in how it all plays out, I like the teens more than the adults and I still think Lawyer Mom has a back story that has not yet been fully revealed.
It will be complicated because the skank who married four times and kicked her out of her family house will play…
You have been watching k-dramas far longer than me, but if we are looking at 16 episodes, there will be more to the story than simply "love" and "runny noses", lol. Perhaps Skank will be (or, already is) connected to the evil corporate competitor. Once they become a couple, I will lose interest if there is nothing more to look forward to than the inevitable Episode 12 break-up.
I checked out this show on several web sites and this description show up twice:
"A romantic melodrama in which a man and a woman involved in a revenge drama, forget about revenge and shed tears and runny noses because they feel sorry for each other."
Frankly, I hope they don't forget about revenge because that scheming mistress deserves karma.
Ep 14 was much better than eps 12-13, but I still think the thriller part ruined this drama. It should've stayed…
When he shot the pellet into the shop, Haeng Seon was not only verbally attacking CCY, but she was briefly struggling with him (over the phone?? I can't recall). From outside the shop, it may have appeared that CCY was under attack and the pellet at least put a stop to it.
I’m already in love with the show. The last times I was so hyped with the beginning of a melodrama have been…
This was on my watchlist because of Lee Sung Kyung, but my goodness, after watching Ep. 1, this is definitely NOT a lighthearted romance like Sh**ting Stars (which I loved). Keeping my mind open but every character appears to be uber-dysfunctional.
They are indeed dragging the dead horse over the finish line 🙄 The Nam family scenes, little as there were,…
I stopped watching a few weeks ago because my k-drama viewing hours are very limited right now. I don't mind mysteries intertwined with romance, even when their only purpose is to drag it to 16 episodes. But I dislike thrillers and that is what Crash Course has become. I guess I'll binge w/FF button once it's over because I do like Hae-yi and Sun Jae. 😊

I'm here for In-soo. Glad it's on Netflix.
This guy has been busy. Movie [film] "Swallow" will be released on April 5th.
UncannyCounter2 rumored to release on June 17.
😘

Still unofficial, but if this is accurate, looks like UC2 will release before Arthdal.

It was a red herring/false clue to be sure.
