Yes, WJ imagined that scene. So no, DJ doesnt know who WJ is (or at least the show wants us to think that at this…
He's been to her house. He tried to get to the house when he heard "the daughter" was there. She told him (at the grocery store) that she and her siblings had been kicked out of their house. He actually Went To His Step-Father's Funeral Service - he MUST have known his name and made the connection when WJ walked into his office. But. . . .Although I have believed he has known from the beginning, everyone said I was wrong. And, perhaps they were right and I was wrong - but I think it's more romantic if he has always known, didn't intend to fall in love with her, but gave her the time and space to process the pain in her heart.
I really am hoping I'm right because I think it would be a lovely twist.
This is giving me hope that DJ won't leave WJ.I still feel like he already knows who she is. Maybe doesn't know…
I felt from almost the beginning that he knew who she was. It's the twist that I am hoping for - he knew who she was, he understood why she was eager to work for him, he understood her pain - and he let it all play out - but not predicting that he would fall in love with her.
guys can someone explain exactly what happened between uk and the crown prince? like what's the exact reason that…
In Part 1, Jin Mu planned to expose the fact that Mu-Deok was a soul shifter, Jang Uk was aware of that and althat Jang Uk's birth was also the result of soul-shifting.
Somehow, w/out any explanation, in Part 2 the viewer was led to believe that the Crown Prince conspired with Jin Mu to kill Jang Uk (although there were no scenes in Part 1 that showed that conspiracy). Jang Uk supposedly "knew" this - but it was never explained why or how he might have believed that.
Just one of many ridiculous nonsense curtesy of Hong Sisters between Part 1 and Part 2.
I am one of those pitiful viewers that cannot handle violence - especially vicious violence. I find Pandora to be intriguing - but cannot stomach the vicious violence - no matter if good-intentioned or not. I really, really do not have the time to watch every minute - always fearful of the next violent turn.
If you are ever in the mood, I would love to read episode re-caps - Brief Re-caps! - from you that explain significant plot points, who dies, who kills, shocking twists. I don't mind knowing in advance - I enjoy the atmosphere, the nuance, excellent acting. But NOT the violence
If you do not have the time or inclination, all is good. π I enjoy your comments and brief statements that provide some clue as to how this drama is progressing.
Oh, and. . . .my bet is that Soo Chan is the bad guy.
Truly disappointed in the Hong sisters. While variety in a show is good, the new script has drained the show of…
Great review - speaks for many of us. In Part 1, all of the character stories were inter-related. Director Park Joon Hwa said it was like a hexagon - six sides/stories w/interaction amongst everyone at various points.
Part 2 was a straight line - Jang Uk and JBY - everything revolved around them. The Netflix viewership proves your point - viewers unimpressed.
1. Hypocritical main character who knows what she does is evil and hides it from her daughter, but loves doing…
Thanks - I'll pass based on your review. I read somewhere that in the last John Wick movie (No. 4), Keanu Reeves spoke only 380 words or so. In other words, no real character plot.
Probably the best drama of 2023 so far and itβll be hard for future dramas to live up to this level of quality.…
If you like drama - as in MELOdrama with lots of angst, then you will enjoy it.
Me? I like rom-coms. This is not a rom-com. I was initially intrigued, then bored and don't worry about watching the moment the episodes are released. at this point, I'll wait to find out if there is a happy ending or not because I don't have time to invest (like reading the subs) in something that ends poorly/sad (from my viewpoint)
So far the known OTT platforms are Disney Plus in selected regions and TVING.
See my edits in above comment. Hong Kong (or Singapore or Japan) are nothing more than network "servers" located in those countries (I think that is the correct term) . The subs are generated by Disney+ (or the original broadaster like TVN). Some dramas have more options than others. Check the "settings" on the drama you are watching and see what options you have for subs and dubbing. Good luck!

You have to set your Disney+ settings for the English subs. I can't recall if I must do it for each separate drama or if it's automatic once you do the setting.
Edited: I'll go check mine right now (i'm currently watching "Call it Love" on my VPN/Disney+)
edit #2: when you watch the drama, go to the tiny icon in upper right hand corner for the settings. You can choose the sub langauge and in some cases you can choose to listen with dubbed English.

If you have a Disney+ account, you should be able to access with your PVN. BUT, you may need to roam around for the best country. I always have luck with Hong Kong. And if I recall correctly, South Korea is blocked.
So does jang uk ever find out that first season naksu killed him because of the bells and she couldnt control…
The bells never showed up again in Part 2, so the answer is "no" - he never knew why she went wild, He planned to tell Mu-deok?Naksu what Master Lee said: so long as she didn't try to use her energy/power, she wouldn't run wild. He never got a chance to tell her (because she was drunk) - which is why he felt guilty.
Noone knew about the bells except Jin Mu (and possibly Jin Mu's henchman).
I saw yoo insoo in the cast he needs more roles in the dramas soo handsome and good at acting π₯Ίπ
In Soo will next appear in "The Good Bad Mother" (https://kisskh.at/733003-bad-mother) which begins April 26 on Netflix, It's a main role, but looks like he will be SML. π
I've seen July 29th as tentative release date for Uncanny Counter 2.
Saw it at Berlin Film Festival. While the action scenes were really well made and exciting, the film felt way…
Thanks for the brief summary. It looks intriguing and I enjoyed Jean Do Yeon in "Crash Course in Romance", but I will have my finger on the FF button to get through the violence.
A few pointers from the actors about the drama and the second half from their "Singles" magazine interview:Lee…
Thanks for sharing. Normally, I enjoy watching a k-drama that includes the nonverbal movements and expressions, but 16 episodes of micro-steps (not even min-steps, these are micro steps, haha) has killed my anticipation to watch. I still haven't watched last week's episodes, partially because time is a premium for me right now. I'll binge a few episodes all at once at some point - perhaps before the final episode or perhaps after but I'm in no rush.
March 11 - April 30: "Pandora Beneath the Paradise"
May 6 - June 11: "Tale of 9 Tailed 1938" (12 episodes)
June 17 - July 23: "See you in My 19th Life" (aka "Please take care of me in this life as well") (12 episodes)
July 29 - Uncanny Counter 2 (16 episodes)
September 23???: Arthdal Chronicles - which was originally planned to be after Tale of 9 Tailed, but they are still filming.
End of year: "Queen of Tears"
I may be totally wrong - this estimate is based on cross-referencing Studio Dragon productions list with tvN news.
I really am hoping I'm right because I think it would be a lovely twist.
A perfect love story, from my standpoint!
