Thanks for sharing the link to still cuts! The last time I saw him it was in All of Us Are Dead. He was great!…
You didn't watch Alchemy of Souls??? 180° difference between Gwi-nam (I think that was his name in AOUAD - I can't watch because of the violence, but I've seen some of the clips).
He should've still knelt and gave her the ring, and let her make her final decision. He was too selfish to let…
Gosh, I had a totally different reaction. He was still processing what he heard on the radio and the books he was beginning to read. He was beginning to take forward steps and got hit with "you are mean and petty and.. . . .". Those were BO-RA's words, not hers. They both held back talking about their feelings - he, because he didn't think it was necessary (wrong) and she because she wanted to be cool.
You said: "The last thing he could do at that moment is to show her he's serious with her, that he just doesn't know what it meant to be in a relationship; and he bought the books because he wants to genuinely change and be the right man for her." Exactly - he couldn't say those things because he realized she wouldn't believe him.
I hated the whole scene even more because it's clearly a contrived plot device so that the two leads can fight and argue (he will blame ML for losing his girlfriend) and then eventually hook up. Unfortunately, I don't like the FL character and I don't care if she finds true love or not.
Will still watch for Park So Jin, Joo Sang Wook and Yoon Hyun Min who are all 'main leads" and therefor will be on the screen quite a bit. I hope the character of Yu-ri is also on - in a more positive environment at least.
"Bad Mother Yu In-so, the more you watch, the more you fall in love with Ma Seong's Bang Sam-sik"
My favorite K-actor is Yoo In Soo - article provides a bit of story about the character "Bang Sa-sik" plus some still cuts. I can't figure out how to upload the photos on MDL (never have a problem on Twitter).
Good to know - unfortunately Yoo In Na and Hwang Chun Sung are two of my least favorite actors. Maybe "Courtesan Joo Wol" will be paired up with "Father Jang Kang".
Now, everyone knows the story about the real assassin and Pyo.However, they revealed new information:1. Do Jin's…
Re: the direction of bullet/blood spatters. I haven't watched that scene (because I can't handle the violence) but if there is one thing I have learned w/K-dramas it is this - somethings the director has carefully thought out these things in advance and sometimes they haven't and they don't care.
From the various comments I have read, Pyo has killed too many "innocents" (such as FL's fake sister) for him to be redeemed UNLESS at some point the actual bad guy (whomever that might be but I still believe it is Chan) has somehow altered Pyo's memories and/or reality. After all, they were able to alter (erase) Tae Ra's memories until someone intentionally provided the catalyst to unblock things.
As I mentioned previously, I enjoy reading your thoughts and comments but I'll wait to learn the final ending before committing myself. If my favorite character (Do-jin) dies (or is evil), that will save me several hours of watching.
I’m surprised everyone is so convinced it’s going to be an open ending. I think there’s hope that the family…
I've "paused" watching the drama, but have followed comments and have some idea of what is happening up to now. (One reason for the pause? that awful pink filter. I will FF through scenes that don't add to the story).
From the beginning, it was obvious that the ML's mom had cheated them out of the house and she had no right to toss them out.
Anyway, getting the house back is not the end game. Once they were forced out - they were forced out into the real world. The family was merely "existing" up until then - living in the past (and eVERY DAY looking at the large family photo with Dad's face scratched out) and not moving forward to the present.
DJ - son of the evil step-mother - has been the catalyst for each one of the siblings (and perhaps their best friend YJ) to break out of the trap they were in.
I think the happy ending will be: (1) family reconciliation and (2) each sibling will have a new path for their separate futures. Maybe Mom will hook up with the "camping guy"😀
My god every character in this drama is piece of shit maybe only Taera and Haesoo and Kyojin are the only good…
I wonder how much of this is somehow "fake" due to the brain patch? Will wait until the drama ends so that I can watch w/a heavy finger on the FF button.
i have to often remind myself that this is basically a korean soap opera, bc boooooi this show ain't good for…
So, are you watching? This just now popped up on my Viki subscription as a "possible" watch for me and I'm a sucker for contract marriage rom coms. If you are watching, I might dive in and take a look.
Not by choice was No. 50 made to be Hong Taera. That was on Pyo Jaehyun (for reasons that will hopefully explained…
Thank you for the mini-spoilers. When a drama is this violent, I prefer to know in advance who gets killed so I can FF through the scenes. I think I will need to wait until the show ends before watching it. Any info on which character is conspiring and for what reason helps me at least understand.
Internationally she’s been getting nothing but praise and people who say “original Naksu” lmao did you watch?…
Oh, please. . . . "Original Naksu" was (i) 70% incredible work of the stunt woman [https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17919730982376940/], (ii) 20% was 3 or 4 lines by GYJ - very well done, but. . . only 3 o4 lines; and (iii) 10% make-up team. GYJ did well w/her 3 or 4 lines of dialogue, but the real "original Naksu" was ALL due to the phenomenal stuntwoman.
Oh wait - did you think GYJ did those triple spiral flips???? T🤣🤣🤣🤣
Amazing: Seo In Guk nominated for Best "new" Male Actor"in 2023 Baeksang Awards (movie/film). New? NEW???? I must admit - I don't understand most of the Korean "awards" .🤣🤣

I am enjoying the episodes, but since I watch at night while in bed, I frequently fall sleep. I hope there is a happy ending.

And if Yoo In-soo's character (Bang Sam Sik) is the town mischief maker, you know there's going to be some fun.
Oh wait - did you think GYJ did those triple spiral flips???? T🤣🤣🤣🤣
