I have no idea on the kids and the idea that they are his is just too fairytailish/syrupy sweet for my liking.

Based on teasers/trailers, he didn't end relationship with MJ after her accident. They were involved at some point - JTBC uses the term "lovers", but I've learned over time that can mean different things. I hope the twins are not his as well - just too Cinderella Fantasy type outcome for me.

Terrific acting and a script that at least keep us intrigued is REQUIRED if we are to patiently wait until September (?) for the final episodes.

I thought that line was so memorable that it will surely reappear later in the drama.
Maybe they will merch it in the drama when those words are in her new book and they do publicity interviews. A way to earn more $$$

Actually, BoRa! isn't much of comedy (although the romance will eventually come about). I hesitated because I'm not a fan of In-na (I never finished Touch Your Heart), but I'm enjoying her character in this drama.

I re-watched several episodes last night - more to plow through later. I didn't get the clues/confirmation I was looking for. However, I do think there is one person that knows who Lee Seol is and knows who the Watchman is - and he is protecting both of their identities. I'm going to try to type it out and will probably post it in the "Discussion Forum".

Thank you - I did some mega re-watching last night and you are correct. I don't think it's spoiler though, so I'm not tagging my reply. in the very first episode, the Minister Shin Won Ho said" 3 months ago, a young man visited the grave of the deposed Crown Prince, Lee Pyeong, on the anniversary of his death.

But I guess the next time the name (Lee Pyeong) registered in my mind was in Ep. 11. Almost 100% of the references to him are the "deposed Crown Prince".

I'm still unsure who the Grand Prince was. Dowager Queen says she lost two sons. The Grand Prince and his entire family were also slaughtered during the rebellion. So, was the Grand Prince a THIRD son?? I have a feeling that some of this is easy to understand in the novel, but there are gaps in script for the drama.

I' watched yesterday because of Yoo In soo, but this morning when faced with the option of watching BoRa! or this drama (both released early morning where I live), I chose BoRa!. I'll get around to GoodBadMom later on this week. Probably.

Question: Who is Lee Pyeong? The "prince who was deposed"? The former Crown Prince? The Grand Prince? Are they all the same person?

Are the different terms (in the sub translation) the result of different people doing the translations? Or are they meant to indicate different people/individuals?

My apologies: I rushed through this drama in 2 days over the weekend (through Episode 10) and have now begun to re-watch and try to understand the under-currents and various clues/red herrings.

BTW, I have now re-watched the end of Ep. 10 at least 5 times. Epic!

Once Yu-ri broke up with him I said - damn, BoRa will get that ring after all - and I wasn't happy about it. The fact that he still has it means it's going to keep re-appearing.

I wish he would sell it or something, but I'm more distressed by the idea that the ring somehow finds its way to some interchange between BoRa and the Ex. We've been through enough of that garbage - time to reset the narrative (although i get that Ex-the-Jerk will be around to the bitter end. 😢😢)

Now do Shi Yeol's parentage! I have a theory - a crazy one, but need to re-watch a few scenes.

This has been on watchlist for months for one reason: Yoo In Soo. I anticipated he was chosen because he could do "crazy Sam-sik" and he delivered. Anyone else get Gwi-nam (AOUAD) vibe? Based on still cuts/and previews, I think we will see him develop into one fine man by the last episode.

Main Couple - I'm not feeling it. There is nothing unique about them (teen years), but perhaps that will change.

Loved the villagers - probably the main reason I will continue to watch.

Once they start writing a book together (or, she writes and he edits??), we will presumably be at a several month process. If the writers go that route, then the process will be cathartic and healing for each. I don't know anything about the writers, but that's my hope.

Well, only 5 episodes thus far, but I made a similar comment a few minutes ago below - it's always one of the scenes in the "preview", but it's meaningless during the actual episode.

Totally agree - they aren't even "friends" at this point - simply two person support group. But I'm getting tired of the repetitive "I don't want to see you again" that seems to be in each episode.

I am still looking forward to the moment when Deborah realizes that the catalyst for his break-up was due to her rant on the radio - today he repeated the words - cowardly, mean, etc. But he isn't cowardly or mean - rather, those words are an accurate description of her ex. HE knows that she was the catalyst (even if the break-up was inevitable) and he ALSO knows that the ex is a first-class jerk. She knows nothing about his former girl-friend or her own role in the break-up, if nothing else the fact that she made judgements about him that were untrue.

Those scenes were juxtaposed against the new report of a woman who committed suicide because (1) a break-up; (2) job issues (I forget the exact scenario) and she had been drinking.

In other words, Deborah is very fragile at this moment in her life - I was worried she would head for the bridge, so I'm glad she chose the ex boyfriend's house instead.

A truly crazy character -- and Kim Byung Chul was terrific in the role.

Theoretically, Kang San is the "eldest" son, so he has first claim on the throne - over and above his uncle (the current king) and Yoo Ha (his younger half brother).

But Yoo Ha also has royal blood so . . . as I said, I really don't care provided My Beloved Couple (Shin Yeol/Heong Jo) survive.
