The 2nd director is usually the one "on location" while other actors are in studio. I don't recall if it was Oh Na-ra or Park Eun Hye, but one of them said that there were a significant number of cast members that they never worked with or interacted with in Part 2 filming.

Not going to call you stupid, but the writers have consistently said that the original owner of the body belongs to Jin Bu-yeon (aka Mu-deok).

I'm worried about Yul - he wasn't standing in front of those coffins. However, HMH said they re-arranged his final filming schedule so that he could attend Montcler 75 (I think that was the name) in Italy, so perhaps in Ep. 10 he disappears to Seo Fortress.

I began to collect (bookmark) BTS photos of my favorite characters several months ago and it's been obvious to me (just looking at costumes, etc) that major scenes were omitted - especially my favorites, Dang-gu and Cho-yeon.

Jin Bu-yeon's "thing"??? Bring the plaque back to Mama and save Jinyowon.

Jang Uk's "thing"?? - Go to Cheonbugwan and stop Jin Mu from getting the fire bird.

The battle at Cheobugwan isn't the finale/end of story, but I'm assuming it is one of the major pivot points. The other will be - what is Jin Bu-yeon's and what does she want.

Ep. 10 will be high anxiety for 1st half, and then. . . . .all will be explained, and happy/satisfying end. My one major fear is Park Jin - He has never been evil; If Hong Sisters kill him, then my rating will reflect my fury.

Semi-happy endings are absolutely necessary for follow-on viewership On Netflix, any potential Blu0ray, etc.

I don't believe there is any way the "daisy scene" foreshadows a tragic ending. There might be a special twist, but it won't be tragic. Although I admit - I'm not invested in the OTP so I am able to enjoy the overall story w/out stressing myself out too much.

Except I want that ChoDang wedding and I want it ON SCREEN!😀

1. My theory (since last summer): Jang Uk has the energy of the Kings Star. That special energy is required to "deal with the chaos of the ice stone." She saved him because he is the one - either by destroying or protecting the ice stone - who can bring stability and peace to Daeho. Her birth was the beginning of the chaos and she is determined to bring an end to the chaos. There is zero evidence that Jin Bu-yeon every knew Jang Uk (as a child) or has any special feelings for him. My girl is on a mission to save Daeho - the "world" (a word that his used frequently in AoS) and she's going to do whatever is required (I think she will die).

2. Iirc, because Gil-ju was injured, his body became unstable and that's why he began to petrify. In reality, it was a plot device to inform/educate Mu-deok and Jang Uk about the existence of the ice stone in the Palace and how it could save a soul shifter. It progressed the narrative.

I just hope we actually get to see it instead of it being announced afterwards. 🥰

Here's the Jaewook and In-soo scene that I want to see! Dang-gu (all dressed up - maybe wedding togs??? 🤞🤞) and Jang Uk looking mighty fine - with a different "belt" than he has been wearing throughout Part 2. Hoping this isn't another Dang-gu scene that gets cut from the final.

When I read Park Eun Hye's comment (as translated to English), I interpreted it to mean that she was thanking Director Park (who was standing behind her in the photo with the flowers and she was unaware that he was there) for teaching her a lot and providing a Hwanson ("wedding") shooting (filming) experience with good atmosphere.

They would never, ever allow her to hint that it was the location of a wedding scene.

Based on the spoilers for Ep 9/10, I think the fire bird is merely a plot device for Jin Mu's evil scheme - but it also the Number One reason that Jin Seol-ran built Jinyowon and Mama is determined to protect it (and Daeho) at all costs.

But I could be wrong. 😄😄

If you look at other cast member ig pages, the term "wedding" shows up all the time. The word "marriage" appeared all the time as a translation of "alchemy of souls". It was very confusing at first for me.
