Title Call It Love
idk why y'all still think there might be a love triangle it's very obvious that YJ doesn't have romantic feelings…
I tend to agree. Young Joon knows that WJ began this process for revenge. He now sees that she has strong feelings (empathy? sympathy? love?) for DJ - and he is worried that she will get hurt since "Mom" is ultimate enemy and YJ doesn't know that DJ dislikes his mother.

Also - I think all of them were loosely connected as kids. The last names. The photos. The intro w/brief glimpses of children running and balloons. If Yoon Joon is somehow related to "Uncle Daehong" (YOON Dae Hong) who is somehow connected to Dong-Jin, then it's not impossible that the two guys knew each other as children. I haven't watched Ep. 8 yet, but in Ep. 7 - there was "The Look" between Yoon Joon and Dong-Jin that was "direct" but unclear as to what each one was thinking.

The "man at the campsite" is Yoon Dae Hong. ML calls him "uncle"- perhaps he is a brother of Hee Ja (or brother…
Episode 7, Mark 50. I may be wrong, but there were two photos at the campground. One: identical to the one that Gi-ju found at DJ's home. The other was . . .well, I'm not certain but it sure looks like Yoon Joon to me. Same surname - coincidence? Hmmmmm, maybe. and now Yoon Joon's mom has shown up and mentioned "dad". So many brief clues - I wish I had the time to re-watch, take notes (now that we are 1/2 way through the drama) and connect the dots. Peeling back the layers is fun to me.

Earlier today, I submitted the actor's name/role to MDL. Not sure why he was missing - I found the information on Asian Wiki a few days ago. MDL has now added him. 😊

I'm wondering if the man at the campsite is one of ML's step dad? Another victim that his mom conned
The "man at the campsite" is Yoon Dae Hong. ML calls him "uncle"- perhaps he is a brother of Hee Ja (or brother of Dong Jin's father?)

We know that he knows Kang Min-young and Kang co-on.

Also I think one of the photographs in the campground was Dae Hong and YOON Joon (best friend of the Sim/Shim family). Related?

I think the minute that WJ applied for the job - and he heard her last name - he knew exactly who she was.
I'm not basing my thought on their first interaction. I think they have a childhood connection that goes way back - after all, his mother was "best" (or at least"good") friends with her mother. He would know the surname of step-dad #3. His "uncle" Jaehong has a connection to Yoon Joon (as well as the Kangs - Min-young and Go-on). I think it's one reason he brought Gi-ju home - he's feeling guilty about the family. Some of this is fact - and some of it is speculation. 😊😊

Ep 7Did I misunderstand the beginning of the episode? Cause to me it seemed like DJ has known all along who WJ…

I may be wrong, but I think WooJoo and Dong-jin played together as children. Their mothers were "best" (or "good"??) friends - teen WooJoo knew who Hee-ja was when she saw her w/her father. My impression is that they lived in the same neighborhood. There is no indication that WooJooo did any in-depth investigation into Dong-jin to discover his relationship with Hee-ja - she already knew and she was only upset because she thought Hee-ja sold their home and gave the money to him.

And. . .look at the intro. children running and balloons. It reminds me of the intro to "Kiss Sixth Sense" - very brief, dream-like glimpses of children playing together. And [spoiler] sure enough - the adults knew each other as children.

I'm also betting that Dong-jin knows who WooJoo is - he shows little curiosity about her background - that really doesn't make sense to pretend to not care about why someone is stalking him.

And is family best friend (YOON Joon) somehow related to Uncle Dae-hong (YOON Dae-hong)?? And what is uncle's connection to Kang Min-Young (who has apartment across from the one owned by Dae-hong) and Kang Goon (who wants Dong-Jin to visit the "old man" at the campgrounds)???

I'm more interested in the back stories gradually being revealed than the romance at this point, although I'm enjoying the romance - but it's pretty predictable. Enjoyably predictable.

I just hoped that ML is not actual son of that mother, maybe adopted or he is son of one of her husband but not…
Yes, I thought the same when Hye Seong said "your father" (meaning WooJoo and JiGu's father), instead of "our" father, but Koreans use pronouns differently from English, so I'm never sure if something is lost in the translation/sub-titles.

What's your theory about Dong Jin when he finds out who Woo Joo is? Will he avoid her or confront her? My guess…
I'm not convinced that he doesn't already know who she is. He wanted to know when "the" daughter contacted the real estate lady. He seemed passive when WJ confronted his mother - not especially curious or surprised by her actions.

They grew up in the same area, I believe? His mother was a good friend of WooJoo's mother? She knew all about him - why wouldn't he also know about a step-family?

Plus, I just discovered (via Asian Wiki) that Uncle Daehong's last name (Yoon Dae-hong) is the same as best friend Yoon Joon. Might be a coincidence. Or not.

Do you need to watch season 1 before season 2 or can you understand the general idea from season 2 alone? I don't…
If "romance" is the only thing you care about, stick w/Ep. 2. No matter what others say, the Part 2 "plot" (such as it is) i has very little connection to the Part 1 plot. Characters are the same, but the connection to Part 1 is tenuous at best.

On Crash Course in Romance Mar 13, 2023
Finally completed w/a heavy hand on the FF button. Up until Ep. 9 or so, I looked forward to watching, but maybe the actual "romance" came too early because after that was heavy angst and the dreaded "break-up/distancing" that I hate.

But I really liked all of the teens, so watched all of their scenes. Sun Jae and Hae-yi forever.

Really hated murder side-story - could have been slightly different (no murders) and still maintained the tension and the overall point regarding pressure for academic success. Ii think this is the first k-drama "romance" (my favorite genre) that I rated only a 6⭐ - and it's primarily because of the teens.

We are not 100% sure that the ex gf of ML really cheated on him? I feel like she didn't but maybe it has something…
I'm pretty sure that ex-gf and SunWoo were "close" at one point - close enough that she gave him personalized (initials SW) leather tag for his golf clubs. She knew that the golf range was a likely place to find him. How close isn't clear at this point - but they weren't casual friends.

the acting of the FL is kinda poor compared to others in the drama
I admit, I thought she was simply the 1st client and she would go away. Didn't realize she is a Main Lead. ML deserves a better romantic partner (if there will be one). I'll continue watching - when I have the time.

Looks like both Pyo Jae Hyun and Hong Yoo Ra know Hong Tae Ra past and are playing her as fake lover and fake…
The trailer was intriguing, but based upon the description (hubby "developed new technology in the neural smart patch field"), I was wondering if he would turn out to be one of the "bad" guys. If so, then I don't intend to watch because the best cinematography in the world can't make up for a story about betrayal (my least favorite genre). I'll wait a few weeks.

The colors in the videos are weird. In some dramas, colors like this are used to signify that what is shown is…
I just re-watched a scene from Ep. 1 - it's the one where Woo-joo's father kisses her on the head, presumably during happier times. The colors were bright - no filter.

The pink filter is a big negative for me and it detracts from my enjoyment. It will definitely be a factor when I rate the show at the end because I don't believe it's necessary. Muted/greyed filter would provide the same atmosphere.

Afaik, organizing camping fairs for companies to present their products at. Would explain his love for camping…
Looking at the posters on the walls, I believe the company puts on fairs for a variety other organizations - trade groups, etc. One of the very first scenes had a poster "2021 Seoul Lighting Exhibition" and the early emergency involved a fair in Singapore. My understanding was that the camping theme was a new concept that they were trying to put together on their own, whereas their usual process was to bid on and operate fairs for other organizations or business groups. They lost the Singapore exhibition to their competitor (Shin) When Shin found out that Best Fairs was putting on the camping themed exhibition, he tried to undercut them by doing the same a week earlier - but he needs investment money to do it on his own.

Well, that was my understanding but I find quite a bit of this show difficult to understand and I need to find the time to re-watch and take good notes.

I just re-watched the scene from Ep 1 in Dong Jin's apartment - bed on the floor and some curios on the shelves. I guess that's the apartment that Uncle Daejohn (??) asked him to live in (Ep. 5 or 6) - and it just happened to be across the hall from Min Young - who is also somehow connected to the uncle??? More layers of the onion to unpeel, I guess.

after watching the first 4 episodes...i do understand woo joo's conflicted feelings towards dong jin but to be…
The word that came to my mind in Ep. 3/4 was "intrigued". Dong-jin seems intrigued by Woo-joo. From his standpoint: (i) she was stalking him - going through his mail. (ii) she intentionally tried to get hired in order to get near to him; (iii) she appears to hate him, yet "saved" him a couple of times.

She is unique and he is intrigued.

I hope the writers aren't going to tell us later that he knew who she was all along - that would inconsistent with how he has spoken to her thus far - it would be very disappointing.
