I knew it that we will have JMS as guess role to close out Mudeok story line.
Minor change - We need JSM to close out the Jin Bu-Yeon story. πππ However, until I see something official (and MDL isn't official), I won't get my hopes up.
haha maybe after seeing the glimpse of a petrified girl? We didn't see the face though so at this point it'd be…
Looks to me like the same dress that GYJ wore in the preview - which also appeared to be in Jinyowon. I'm not going to get my hopes up about a JSM return.
Iβm just confused why theyβre talking about marriage when theyβre already marriedπ§ββοΈ
Perhaps the question is - did they ever have any sort of ceremony? If I understand Korean law correctly, a "marriage" is legal when registered. The only requirement is signing the forms and submitting (registering) to government office. An officiant (priest, minister, justice-of-peace) is not required.
TvN is responsible for creating the posters and other marketing (cast videos, etc) for Korea audience. Netflix never used them. I'm betting that at least 80% of the Netflix AoS audience doesn't even know that JSM will not be in Part 2.
I don't know, it seems pretty much up in the air, there was no real definitive answer. Ji Ho said to Madam Yoo,…
I think there were earlier hints. Mr. Choi's assistant (Ms. Oh) made a comment about Madam Yoo was scorned by the elders because she wanted to be the Chairman's mistress. And then in another episode, when she sat on his desk and pulled him forward with his tie, there were definite "prior relationship" vibes at work. The last couple of episodes they have been softening up Madam Yoo's back-story - i think this will be the final reveal -- "Lady Jaime" was born with chaebol blood. One week to go! π
Question re: Ep. 14 - did we get pretty good confirmation that Sang Eun's father is really Jeong Gil tae (head of Eena group)?? If so, that would mean that Madame Yoo was trying to ensure that Sang Eun was groomed for her "rightful" place in the chaebol world.
Drama parents π€ doing the absolute opposite of what's actually best for their child in the name of doing what's…
I agree that he is very versatile. In his next drama, he plays a very brutal serial killer - who shows a very benign face to the public. I can't watch violence (the teaser is too much for me), so if I watch, it will be with a very heavy hand on the FF button.
What! Just noticed thatβ¦.it used to say Naksu/Mu Duk!And having So Min in the guest role was a good indication…
MDL relies on official press releases/statements as well as some "witness" accounts or IG posts that might confirm appearances. TvN issued a very firm statement that Jung So Min will not appear in "Part 2". I also don't know how they will handle flashbacks without showing JSM/Mu-deok
If a decision has been made that this is a "continuation", (Netflix now states it is a 30 episode series) then that may mean that the intro, closing credits, etc. will not change dramatically.
In the end, it will be TvN and Studio Dragon that determine how 'Part 2" will be promoted in Korea and Netflix may decide that it is better for their streaming platform to treat it as one continuous story.
I gotta say I think the show is back on track despite tropey elements like the birth reveal and the chaebol bullshit.…
Thanks for your comment. π I am usually able to watch the minute it drops on viki, but not today. Your post is a ray of sunshine. I'm hoping to watch 13-14 tomorrow. π
Amazon Prime K-dramas not available in USπ₯π₯π₯
Well, yes - a handful of k-dramas are available in the Americas and Europe. Same for Disney+ - only a handful available. Fortunately, I'm able to afford Viki so I'm able to watch my newest favorite: "Love in Contract". I'll give "Curtain Call" a quick try - the trailer looks promising. π
I have such a love/hate relationship with this drama. Like every character outside the leads and Gwangnam (+ jiho's…
I pretty much agree. I love the couple, enjoy the office crew humor and interaction. I do have some feeling that we're going to get a childhood connection (her parents and his dad both died in bad weather???) . And, I am in a love-to-hate relationship with b**ch ex-wife [and hopefully we never learn what HER back-story might be in order to redeem her character]. She and the older brother would seem to suit each other.π
by the look in the comments it was a good idea ro watch love is for suckers instead of this
Interesting. I've been re-watching Love In Contract because I kept falling asleep trying to watch "Love is for Suckers". Different plots appeal to different viewers. πππ
I've been wondering if Madam Yoo was the mistress of Jung Gil-Tae (head of Eena Group) - which might mean that he could be Jaime's biological father as well. Also confused by the Viki translation where Ji-ho said that three things happened all on one day: adoption of Jaime, Jaime disappeared and money was paid TO Eena group. That really doesn't make any sense - why would money be transferred TO Eena group at that point???
I love this show. I love the character of Ji-ho - intelligent, thoughtful, supportive. I love the way he has faith in Sang Eun. I love the character of Sang Eun primarily because the writers are showing her grow and evolve as a person who is finally willing to accept help from someone else.
I love the fact that the villain (ex-wife) is rotten enough that karma will eventually bite her in the a** because there is no way the brilliant Ji-ho is going to let that B**ch win.
And most of all, I love the fact that this lovely couple has traversed through ever-changing s**t-storms and they haven't broken up. She hasn't flown to Canada. It's Ep. 12 (75% of episodes) and they are still together.
