Oooo! Am I imagining HJ telling Mdm Yoo she's the villain? And also another busy episode but worth it all for…
How do you watch the show on Prime? It's not available in the US but I've tried using my vpn. Is it only available in certain countries? Viki is usually pretty good at posting w/in a few hours of broadcast but I think the Prime English subs are easier to understand/comprehend for a US person.
I'm not surprised. I expected it to get very messy eventually. At least there is hope lol... thanks for posting…
I was surprised at the end of the preview. When it didn't appear on Viki, I was convinced she was going to be on that airplane to Canada because today's episode (ep. 10) took place on June 22 - the date on her ticket.
Yes, this is kinda risky, but its so thrilling isnt it?? Im very glad that Hong Sisters tried new things. And…
I think there will be a twist early on that will absolutely freak everyone out. I predict mass hysteria on MDL.
Perhaps Seo Yul will be the first one to recognize her - or, perhaps she will recognize the whistle that he now has. Perhaps JBY's soul actually shifted into Naksu's body in the beginning of Ep 1? But there is zero chance of UK and Naksu reuniting early in Part 2.
i'm glad my favorite couple is Dang-gu and Cho-yeon. Probably a heart-breaking beginning in Part 2, but they will have a happy ending. ππ
Is everyone upset with the show because they didn't see the Ep. 11 preview? (It wasn't on Viki and I had to search for a couple of hours to find one with English subs (unofficial) but I'm looking forward to it. πππ
Here is the preview to episode 11, btw:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BviaZcqocpQ
It was missing from my Viki feed - and can't find the Eng Sub version. I was positive she would be on a plane in next episode so glad to see I was wrong.
I have a theory you know how they keep talking or it may be a foreshadowing about sangeun going over sea. I bet…
I posted this earlier (it's way down the page), but her airplane ticket to Canada is in three "TV show" days " (June 22nd). So, not at the end of the show and not with Ji-ho. Ugh - this should have been 14 max episodes.
Wow, that was a nice three minutes episode with the leads in the car, i loved it. I am too grossed out by the…
I'm glad that we got solid confirmation that Wife #1 is a gold-digging status climbing B.I.T.C.H. There was even subtle implication that she was a little seductress-in-training in highschool. I wonder how much Ji-ho helped her get through law school??
In my opinion SangEun is still hot mess. I'm not going to give any befinit of doubt for the things that not shown…
Agree - she's still a hot mess. All three main characters are a "mess" in their own way and all three had extremely traumatic childhood/early adult life.
The whole show is centered around three people with traumatic childhoods/early adult life that are trying to find happiness and heal.
As you said that this is your usual romcom kdrama so it's not a big mystery what happened to her. She was adopted…
Yes, she's frustrating - the entire show is built around her "hot mess" character. We have seen bits and pieces of her early life, but sooner or later we will see a scene where she and Mi-ho return from Europe and that's when she learns that "Mom" never loved her for herself - she was simply a tool/product. It must have been devastating - it WILL be devastating when the viewer finally sees it. Not that I'm looking forward to it - I almost cried today during the scenes and descriptions of Ji-ho's earlier life with That Bitch. But I love the Ji-ho character even more. π
Disclaimer: I was writing these comments as I was watching the episode, so some comments may become clarified…
I'm glad we learned that Ji-ho's first wife was and is a first class bitch. Ji-ho also grew up poor but we learned today that he worked hard for everything he achieved while she used him and abused him - including getting him to do her homework. I wonder if he helped her in law school as well? Or she slept with her professors. She's not that smart.
Because she is a lying cheat, I'm hope we get to see her mega-downfall. More likely, however - she will seduce older brother Kang and lives happily ever after.π’π’
If you are pointing to my comment, I said the viewer understands why he wants to separate from his family. but I really don't like him and I can't justify his actions with Sang Eun.ππ
In today's episode, we got more back story on ji-ho and his first wife. I think we are still missing big chunks of whatever happened to Sang Eun when she went berserk at the chaebol dinner.
Prior episodes show Sang Eun viewing Mi-ho AS HER MOTHER. She thought Mi-ho adopted her.
How old was she when she was taken to the chaebol dinner? 18 years? 22 years? We don't know yet what happened to Sang Eun - what was she told, what did they say to her that she feels so worthless. So, for those saying she's a hot mess - hello? ya think?
My point is - the viewer now knows/understands why Ji-ho became so unemotional and unable to express himself. We have heard the words spoken to him by his aunt and former wife - an apparent gold-digger./status seeker. We even understand Hae Jin and why he has tried to separate from his family.
I think there's more to Sang Eun's story. It wouldn't be a k-drama "rom-com" without the big childhood trauma reveal and then grand finale happy ending. π
would have been better if this was 12 episodes. Don't know how I can deal with frustration for 7 more episodes.…
I agree - we are probably going to get at least 2 nonesense/filler episodes that don't move the story forward at all.
I was sick this weekend and spent my time re-watching all 8 episodes back-to-back and I'm now looking at dates (on the show - they made a point of clearly identifying them with calendars, etc.).
Saturday, June 17 (episode 7) Sunday, June 18 (Episode 8) Monday, June 19 (Episode 9 - today's episode) Tuesday, June 20 (appears to be Ep. 10) Wednesday, June 21 (?) Thursday, June 22 ----- The date on the airplane tickets to Canada.

Meanwhile, Sang Eun keeps saying "I'm crazy, I'm crazy".
As I said - we're going to get at least two meaningless episodes even though the happy ending is a foregone conclusion.
I loved today's episode as well. But on the first day of an episode, please edit your post to add the spoiler…
If you click on the edit function, you can check the spoiler box. The post will say "reveal spoiler" and the text of your post will be hidden but can be read if anyone clicks on it. Look at some of the posts/comments/ below where people talk about today's show.π
