Naksu's body was frozen when it was stolen from Songrim. I think there is a good chance that Jin Mu has it on ice somewhere. But it's a running joke with me and I don't think they skipped a week just so that they could re-shoot some scenes. πππ

The original release talked about improving the "2nd half (Ep. 17-30???) I think they might be adding "flashbacks" to explain what is happening w/r/t Naksu, Mu-deok and Jin Bu-yeon. Or, they brought in Naksu actress for a few scenes of her frozen body coming back aliveπ€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
How was So-i able to open Jinyowon's door?My guess is that JBY(MD) opened it cos JBY knew So-i and she was foolishly…
I don't tyhink it was intentional. Once again, Mu-deok wondered why she always felt strange when in Jinyowon, put her hand up to her eyes/forehead (was it the same wave as her sister and mom used in the past?) and the door opened. I don't believe it was intentional - Bu-yeon still seems to be in "suppressed" mode, but her senses go on overdrive when at home/Jinyowon.
"Naksu" never knew So-i - she didn't recognize her earlier outside the Jang house.
That scene also indicates that it is the soul (Jin women) that matters, not "blood"
Question - who has the binding bracelet and where is it located? I'm wondering if we will see it again. Am I correct in remembering that Jang Uk could take it on and off on his own, but it remained in "bracelet" form? When Cho-yeon originally threw it on Jang Uk's arm, it was one long strand. It is obviously enchanted. It is a prominent feature in the into as a BROKEN object with one glowing white charm. (The other enchanted (presumed) item in the intro is "Naksu's" sword).
Here are a few more points on why I stick to 2 souls+one body (MD).8. Bu-Yeon was still a baby when Naksuβs…
Based on what Ep. 16 told us, the power/energy is not inherited by "blood", it is inherited by "soul". Jin blood was infused into So-i's blood stream but it wasn't enough to open the Jinyowon vault - it took Bu-yeon's power (I later noticed that the door opened when Mu-deok brought her hand up to her eyes - almost like the "wave" that Mama Jin and Cho-yeon did previously in order to open the door. )
Not that it means anything, but according to the previews at the end of Ep 16, the old mage who was soul-shifted…
It doesn't make sense - Naksu's sword is sitting at the Jang home and the soul-shifter mage's body is in Songrim. The 1st previews always cover both weekend episodes. I'm looking forward to the Unanimous Assembly (I think that's the name) breaking down into a fight. π
From the recent explanation of both Jang Uk's King's Star powers and Jin Buyeon's Jin Priestess powers, it seems…
If I understood the conversation in Ep. 16, Jin females are different, according to Cho-yeon. Their powers are more "divine" - which I interpret to mean heart/soul. I could be very wrong - but that's how I interpreted the conversation. And, for the record, Jin Bu-yeon's was born on a date "blessed by the skies". Whatever that means, lol.
Jang Uk's powers (and the powers of most, if not all, other mages) are based on "energy" - energy from water (Jipsu), body/earth (Ryusu) and the atmosphere (Chisu). As Master Lee said - "it's all water."
We don't know what the constellation plate for Cho Yeong showed - apparently "Dad" never told her that it was remarkable, but that could be another nugget of info that the writers are keeping secret for now.
Jin Mu said ice stones , in plural. But i have doubtsif we have this timeline:Master Seo destroyed everything…
Or, Mama Jin drank some water that was collected during the "water" phase of the ice stone. We really have no idea what happened between Mama Jin and Papa Jang back then but I'm hoping we don't have to wait for Season 2 to find out!

That's the timeline I was following as well - until we saw the scene with Mama Jin and Papa Jang. What if. . . the ice stone was in Jinyowon; Mama Jin was willing to release it to Papa Jang if it could save JBY; it worked; and then Papa Jang took it and began his experiments? I don't like that scenario because it means that JBY's birth - although blessed by the skies, - was the beginning of the new chaos.π₯π₯π₯
On the other hand, we now know that Shaman Choi was probably using left over Soul Ejector (powder) or even ice stone(s) 20 years ago when Jang Kang confronted her. Or, he found her illicit stash and began to play with it? Too much for my little brain.
From the flashback of Yul, Uk ang Dangu, when they were younger, they all look the same age (maybe 8). I thought…
I looked it up earlier (and it's way down the comment board), but the three young actors were age 7 (Dang-gu) and 8 (JU and Yul) last winter/spring (when they were presumably filming). I think the casting call simply asked for boys in that age range and they selected based on looks/personality.
The words "ice stones" (plural) has appeared on my Netflix English translation several times in the past few episodes. Previously, all mentions were THE ice stone (singular - no caps) - whether it was Jin Mu, Master Lee, Park Jin, Mama Jin, etc.
At first, I thought perhaps there was some translation confusion between Soul Ejectors (which has usually been plural once we knew there was more than one) and the ice stone. the Choi family had left over Soul Ejector (powder) apparently but there was never mention of multiple ice stones until recently. But now it has occurred at least two or three times.
I am wondering if there is a slight different in other languages? Or, is it i ntentional - the writers are telling us that there are lots of little ice stones throughout Daeho.
At one time, I theorized that it might be possible to collect WATER when the ice stone entered that phase and separate it into smaller pieces. Master Lee says "it's all water".
Numbers of times JBY was active:MD jumped off the cliff into the lake to die.MD almost got killed by Master Lee.JBY…
That's my list as well, although the 2nd one is a bit of a combination - Master Lee wasn't able to eject her own soul (because she was in her own body I think), but she also reacted when Jang Uk was battling with Master Lee. All w/in a few minutes in real time. π
She also reacts strongly (sub-conscious or uncontrollable?) whenever she is in Jinyowon or touching Jin artifacts. I wsh they would show how/WHY MD put on the blindfold when she was in Jin Bu-yeon's room. Was she in a "trance" (sub-conscious") state?

How about Master Lee??? LOL... Uhm, the chastity herb is not permanent by the way, we knew from Master Heo...Park…
Welcome back Cho Na. πππ Haven't seen you post in a long time.
General Seo is Yul's father and brother of the REAL Queen. He has been mentioned ocasionally, but never seen. According to press release, Yul's uncle (another sibling) will be playing a role in Season 2.
