Last year, they did a lot of filming in the summer before Jung So Min was able to participate. Looking at recent BTS scenes with Mu-deok, Yul and Uk - they were filming outside at night in very cold weather this past winter - and these were some of the earliest scenes in the show, aka the "breathing" scenes. It makes sense that they would try to do as much outdoor scenes as possible this summer.

My impression, Yul thinks that Uk knows that Mu-deok is a soul shifter but that Uk doesn't realize that it is NAKSU that is the soul shifter.

I've tried to re-write this several times to make sense. I'll try again.

Yul knows that Uk is protecting a soul-shifter that is in Mu-deok's body.
Yul thinks that HE is the only one that knows that Naksu is the soul-shifter.
Yul think that Uk is unaware that Naksu is residing in Mu-deok's body.

So-i must die.

I'm a big JSM fan and I don't believe the delay has anything to do with whether she is returning or not. (Although, I do hope she is returning). Frankly, I think that once they finished writing Season 2 (which wasn't until after Season 1 filming was complete), they realized that there were some transition problems. It would be difficult to film new scenes (although not impossible), but would be easier to add some voice-over dialogue or a few more flashbacks so that the viewer understands what is happening. Although if they do a quick killing of So-i, I wouldn't be upset.🤣🤣

Two big hints: once a body is burnt, there's no way to recover it. The other big hint today is that it is possible to shift a soul into a frozen body. Master Lee was upset because he couldn't go back to his body once it was burned. Naksu's body was frozen.

I believe Jung So Min will return.

Jin Mu believes that Naksu's soul was in the body of the courtesan (Ae Hyang) lying at the bottom of Lake G. He believes that the body he has on ice (if he does have her on ice) contains the soul of Ae Hyang. Why not preserve it to use for a different or better soul?

Edited to add: Reminder: Ae Hyang's body is not lying at the bottom of Lake G. Gil-mu lied to Jin Mu. He burned her body.

We usually get notice on upcoming OSTs on Thursday/Friday. So, probably none this week.

Some of us were discussing her sword yesterday. For some reason, 'Naksu" believes that she will gain her powers FROM the sword, but we have seen with all other mages that they pour energy INTO their swords. I think it's Jin Bu-yeon's sword -or, at least, a Jin family sword.

Did he ever say that he looked young because of the chaste tea? I don't recall that.

If you mean So-i, I agree - Over 4 episodes and she still hasn't been revealed to her family (although I assume it might be one of the Ep. 16 cliffhangers).

How many times have I said that Jin Mu might have Naksu's FROZEN body on ice somewhere? We don't need to worry about gathering up ashes. She's ready and waiting. I'm confidant now.

That would be my guess.

Uk realizes that Seo Yul is also hiding Mu-deok's identity as Naksu.
Uk makes a new promise to Mu-deok with Naksu's sword handed to him by Master Lee, and he met an unexpected person in the place where he followed the traces of Shaman.
