I hate it as well - I want to see Jung So Min play real JBY for just a couple of episodes - that's all I ask. Sooner or later, Jin Mu is going to figure out that JBY 's soul is alive and well in Mu-deok's body and I swear that if Jin Mu shifts JBY into So-i's body and leaves Naksu in JBY's body I am going stop at that point. And why the heck isn't JBY SENSING that her mom is in danger?

Re: Bu-yeon - she is end game with the ice stone. But I'm not watching if it is in So-i's body.

The Jin family crest also began to shine BEHIND Mu-deok and Cho-yeon. I think when Bu-yeon enters Jinyowon or touches a Jin artifact, her amazing sensory capabilities react spontaneously.

It would explain why Master Lee only sees one great soul that will "protect" Jang Uk. But it doesn't explain why Jin Bu-yeon stays dormant.

Soy-i is rotten to the core. She saw what Jin Mu did to the two women who were on the boat with her and she knew what would happen to anyone else that she named - she certainly did not need to name the two guards! Heck, she put that little boy with the umbrella at risk. The actress is great - quite a change from the character she played in Business Proposal. But So-i must die for her sins.

Here on MDL we figured out things long ago. But I was just reading someone's post on the Reddit forum and they are just now realizing that Mu-deok is the missing daughter!

A week ago, someone else asked the question along the lines of: "who is Jin Bu-yeon? I've been focused on the romance and don't know why she's important"

Lesson for me is that most viewers (and there are millions) do not overthink this stuff - they need to be led by the hand. And the answer(s) better be easily understood or they might not return for Season 2. That could be the reason for the two-week hiatus.

Yes, I think that's where we are headed. Which is also why I believe JSM will return in Season 2. 😊

This is how I look at it -- what is Jin Bu-yeon's plan??? Then certain things begin to make sense - to me, at least.

He's okay with it if done with Hwansu. And he remembered dancing at his 100 year old birthday. I think he understood all along.

I haven't had time to re-watch, so this was only an impression.

If accurate, what this really means is that Yul fears that Uk is going unknowingly save "Naksu - the Shadow Assassin" and unleash her on an unsuspecting world. 😊😊 He's trying to protect them both - but especially Uk. I really don't understand the whole "returning to Seoseong" and how it will lead up to the final episodes unless it means that Uk is gone when Jin Mu figures out that Mu-deok is really Jin Bu yeon???
