I don't believe it. He's too much of a stickler for rules. Stealing a body of a known criminal is not something…
Agree - he finally bent the rules (or accepted that they could be bent) very late in Part 1. It would be a MAJOR re-write if he broke the rules back in Ep. 1 pr 2. Not that I put that past the Hong sisters.

So, I just finished watching episode 1 again πŸ˜…The scene Danggu catches Yul with the bird whistle and he says…
I believe the writers left several options open - either part of the original script or inserted at a very late date because. . . .who knows?. Ep. 1: Gil Ju was clearly ordered to retrieve the body (frozen) of Naksu. Episode 2 (Mark 39 or so): Jin Mu tells the assassins "you will also be given new bodies through the alchemy of souls" and we see "Naksu's" body on the floor of the building. And then, Jin Mu orders that they all be killed. Jin Mu appears to believe it is her real body because he was searching for the person/woman that Naksu soul-shifted with. He also wanted a very, very public burning.

For me, it is much easier to believe that Jin Mu stashed Naksu's frozen body somewhere. Or, Seo Yul stashing the body somewhere. I can accept that more than being forced to believe the rising-from-the-ashes-mumble-abracadabra-ice-stone-mumble-mumble.

Just finished Ep. 2 - really like the main leads and peripheral characters. But it's a pain to watch on-line (VPn plus Disney+) and I would like at least like some hint of romance. Anything positive romantic vibes by Ep 6? If not, maybe I'll binge watch at some point.

It's a bad translation. Someone on Twitter gave a better translation: "I don't know. I've gone crazy. I can't…
Thanks for the translation - it make much more sense than the Viki sub. How do you watch on Prime? It's not available in US, but I've tried my vpn and keep receiving "not available in your country".

For real, I haven't been invested in the main pairing so much since Chaseul from From Now On Showtime in May/June.
Haha, the last one for me (and still #1, but this show may make it a tie) was Go-jin and Shin-a on Crazy Love. I'm enjoying this romance and steeling myself against the probable makjang moment that seems to be a hallmark of many PMY dramas.

Sometimes I watch a k-drama and just think - oh get on with it and admit your feelings.

And then there are others - like "Love in Contract" - where I think, I can wait because whenever it happens, it will be heart-stopping. I love the way the writers are portraying ji-ho. The childhood history was helpful (I guess) to understand why he is so introverted, but frankly it didn't matter to me. He is what he is. He wants to be a good man that does good things. It's been months since I looked forward to the next episode of a show.

Title Love in Contract Spoiler
Ji Ho, what are you doing to me?? You keep making me fall for you!So Ji Ho decided to act indifferent to the kiss…
"There were moments were he looked happy because she seemed interested in things they were doing together but then she kept saying it was all work. He doesn't know what's real and what's not. He doesn't know if the kiss was because its her job to make everyone believe she loves him or because she actually has feelings. On the other hand she also has no clue what he's thinking and feeling. "

Well, when they finally figure it out or act upon their feelings, that will be one hell of a grand show and I am looking forward to it.

Seems like Jang Uk is going to propose the legalization of forbidden sorcery to the Unanimous Assembly πŸ˜‚ https://twitter.com/gyjcults/status/1580140334301949952?s=20&t=uG5yzgpqv_SbNuBOvLxvLwSeriously,…
Here's the original IG post from the actor Jang Eui-Don who plays one of the members of the Unanimous Assembly. It's obvious photoshop so not sure what it means other than these are the actors that he got to spend time with during filming of several episodes of Part 2. But no Young Lady Jin? 😒😒

What! So Dangu-Choyeon is a side-plot, when their marriage is what turned into the Red-Wedding climax.
It's not just you. πŸ₯°

I was lurking here recently, looking for new pictures from the set. Nothing really interesting so far, sadly.…
I have steeled myself against the inevitable - JBY probably died when she drowned at age 10. Too many recent references and hints to her "body" and not her "soul". I do not believe this was the original script/plan - but something happened and rewrites were obvious starting around Ep. 16. #BuYeonDeservedBetter - absolute agree. As someone who was Team JBY from the beginning, I am sad - I will be ecstatic if JBY "soul" is still alive, but have lowered expectations. I will continue to watch because I adore ChoDang and am crossing my fingers 🀞🀞🀞 that Maidservant Kim and Park Jin will also have a happy ending. Also Sang Ho (very worried about him) Jo Wol, Yeo Sul and others. Jin Mu will die, together with Queen, but worried about Mama Jin, I would never have watched if not for my interest in JSM and probably will never watch another Hong Sister show. Bittersweet is not my thing.

May I spread a rumor? It's about my very favorite AoS guy - Yoo In-soo. Most know that he is already filming in his latest project ("Bad Mother") but rumor has it that he will also appear in Uncanny Counter 2. That would be so cool (if he is a good guy and not a retread of Gwangun (??) from a show that involves zombies and I will never, ever watch even to watch YIS) . He would be reuniting with Uncle Park Jin (Yoo Joon Sang) if the rumor is true. Because of the rumor, I started to watch Uncanny Counter 1. And then I discovered that one of the female leads is played by Yeom Rye Han - the actress that portrayed the "mystery woman" (Geom's mother) in Ep. 1 of AoS. One reason I love K-drama is the small world it involves - actors/actresses don't hesitate to take cameos, minor support roles. I love seeing familiar faces.

It's not weird, he was nervous. It's only natural to forget people's names. Yoonjung, Joonsang and Nara are main…
Don't worry about how you express yourself - sometimes I forget that many people who comment on MDL come from a wide variety of countries and languages. 😊😊 You are always very positive for your guy! I visited this page earlier today and see many "broad-brush" attacks on JSM fans for comments made on a completely different forum (Twitter). Very, very disappointing. Very discouraging.
I follow JSM fans on twitter and all have been very careful to stay positive and condemn negativity. Keep fan wars off of MDL, I say! Cyber hugs to you jxxvvxxkstan. πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

A fan's deeply held feelings should never be considered a "tarnish" of any celebrity's good image.

by the way why female lead didn't know he was a judge I mean he literally was the judge of her many divorces then…
I may be wrong, but I don't think she ever looked at the judge - she just looked down at the table and repeated her standard mantra.

I didn't pay attention to their char age much but both of them bu yeon nd naksu are older than UK by many years…
Based upon various dialogue in early episodes, Bu yeon was born approximately 1 year before Jang Uk. The actress was 10-11 years old when she filmed AoS and Bu-yeon disappeared 10 years ago - which would make her about 20-21 in AoS.

In the early episodes, it was clear - again from the dialogue - that "Naksu"/Cho Yeong was born several years before Jang Uk and was closer in age to Seo Yul. Her father was killed after Jang Uk's birth, but Jang Uk's father supposedly left soon after Naksu's father was killed. But based upon recent interviews and a major timeline revision in Ep. 19/20, it appears the writers have revised her age down to Jang Uk/Bu-yeon/Dang-gu.

Ugh, a pox on Disney for licensing these shows and then restricting to Asia! I started to watch this (glad I kept my VPN), enjoying the early stages of the story, but watching on my computer means I fall asleep. In the middle of the trial (ep. 1). I know I will enjoy it - but wish I could watch on my TV while sitting on my sofa (like Neflix). Does anyone know WHY Disney won't license in the US or Europe??
