MIGHT BE A SPOILER FOR FUTURE EPISODES IF THIS THEORY IS CONFIRMED LATER!!!!!!WARNING!!! SCROLL THIS COMMENT AWAY…
is that Jung So Min? What movie/tv show?
As we discussed (on the discussion forum) the blue outfit (with the leggings and braided pulled back hair) with sword under the cherry blossoms is my idea of how I hope she will appear when she finally joins the family (whether with Naksu or Mu-deok/JBY soul). ๐
Jin Mu (white hair guy) is clearly the visible villain. However, thus far, we have not seen him perform magic…
The reason I thought of General Seo is because I noticed that the Royal guards appeared to be dressed in brown/gold uniforms and that same color was worn by the archers that killed all of those poor guys who were promised "new souls". I've tried to understand the different costume/uniforms - some are obvious, some are not. - I wish Netflix or TvN would publish a catalogue for us!
Meanwhile, looking forward to when the Jin female guards are allowed to go into action! They get to wear pant/leg coverings - just like the cherry blossom "Mu-deok" promo.
Yul is a good guy - perhaps he didn't want to follow down the path (Royal) of his father and aunt. I don't think the Old King is alive - I think the writers are playing it straight with us in terms of what is accurate - but, of course, so much is un-said at this point.

That was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.
I find it fascinating that although they have completed filming the first 20 episodes, they all said that they don't understand what is involved in the "alchemy of souls" and what happens to bodies vs personalities. Does that mean we won't get any explanation for what's happening with Mu-deok/naksu??
anyone have an idea of who the endgame villian could be the white hair guy witht the purple outfit..forgot his…
Jin Mu (white hair guy) is clearly the visible villain. However, thus far, we have not seen him perform magic or carry a sword so it's not clear if he has strong mage power or not. Many people think there is a greater power behind jin Mu and if so, my candidate is General Yeo - Yul's father - unseen, but mentioned at least once.
I cannot stop watching this video - it is an edit of some of the incredible cinematography in AoS. I've bookmarked it and watch it a couple of times a day. Cannot wait for the next one from this person.
For me a soul is a soul. It is not a cake that can be split in two or three in different bodies and combined or…
I went and checked my notes (thru Ep. 4) and you are correct - all of the quotes talked in terms of absorbing "energy" not a soul. So, perhaps in the grand scheme of things, there is (1) the physical body, (2) a soul, and (3) "energy". If the energy is absorbed by a soul-shifter, the body dies and also the soul? Is the energy required to keep the body alive or the body and soul alive? This is now beyond me. ๐
I'm on Team Jin Bu-yeol and I want Naksu GONE, but if this is the compromise, then I'll live with it. ๐
I agree it is intricate and we don't know everything. In fact, we hardly know anything. I believe Jin Be-yeol is destined to be with Jang Uk and therefor I look for the evidence that points in that direction. As for the moment "Mu Deok" was in control, I think she saw the fight. I think she has subconsciously appeared on our screens far more often that we currently recognize. I think she has been keeping Natsu's soul alive because it helps Jang Uk - the man she is destined to be with. See how easy it is for me to justify anything as long as it points in the direction I want?? ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ

The FL's birth name is Jin Be-yeol. Her soul still exists. And I am not going to get into a MDL war over Naksu vs. Mu-deok vs JBY. I am on Team JBY because I believe she was destined from birth to be with Jang Uk. If I am wrong, I will admit it.

There are so many possibilities, but since I don't like Naksu and I want her gone, I want her road to redemption to be sacrificing whatever is left of her soul so that MY girl Jin Bu-yeol (aka"Mu-deok") can live. A bittersweet moment for Jang Uk, preferably no later than Ep. 10.๐๐๐
My pure reason for anticipating this drama since a year is my Lovely girl Jung So Min โค๏ธ getting beautiful…
I simply started with #Alchemy of Souls and then after awhile probably his something for Jung So min and several different tweets showed up and one of them had your handle so I hit that one. You have an amazing collection of JSM photos. ๐
