I think we will discover that Lee Yong Ryeol (the young cop) is part shaman or shaman in training. I saw a video clip that hinted at it (not going to say more cause I don't want to use spoiler tag). That's why he was immediately smitten with Cheon Yeji (the granddaughter). I think they will help destroy the Full Moon Killer/Evil Spirit.

Thanks for clarification. I thought sure the female character was Jin Yoo-na. I don't even recall that scene from Ep. 6, but just now read a description that HaJin is the girl that GTS supposedly dated in the past.

She says "Did you forget we are officially a couple" and that sure looks like the Lawyer to me. Am I wrong?

Both came from wealthy backgrounds and neither needs to work.

Admittedly, I have never cared for the Lawyer character - if he doesn't need to work, he could be doing volunteer legal services for a charity!

While searching YouTube for a different video, I came across this one labeled "Trailer #7" from several weeks ago. We have watched most of the scenes, but a couple have not yet aired and I'm wondering if I'm seeing correctly at the .43 mark. Is it Yoonaa and. . . . ? Eun Si-woo - "A top star, who represented the 90s and received national love. She is the first Asian actress to win the best actress award at the French Noble Film Festival " Five (?) years ago she retired and married someone (famous producer? director?) from France, recently divorced and returning to Korea. I guess I should re-watch that episode to confirm.

Both Kang Yu Seong and Oh Han Byul understand that her return is potentially upsetting for Taesung. I agree that she is likely Taesung's mom. But it doesn't make sense that he was covering up for the "divorce news" (which is recent, I believe?) when he told her he was dating someone else. It's more likely that it occurred around the time that Si-woo got married. I wonder how many times she has been married and where is dad?

Other hints: in one shot of Eun Si-woo, she's walking down the red carpet and there is a little boy looking at her. Lots of flashbulbs. Taesung is affected by flashing lights and Han Byul is his anchor in those occasions.

My far-out question is: Is Taesung epileptic? My daughter has epilesy (fortunately regressed as an adult) but she still is affected by strobe lights, flashing police lights, etc. Just a far-out question. To quote you: "I might be completely off tho. lol"

Can you explain the joke regarding "Yu NaaaaYaaa". Does it hard back too a popular Korean drama or actresss?

I'm glad you asked this question - I have been curious about the same thing.

Very good analysis - I agree that the writers are "genius" in how they are weaving past connections to the current era. I was hesitant about the show when "ghosts" were a prominent part of the synopsis/marketing because I don't enjoy mystical ghost love stories. But in this show, the ghosts are the comedy - plus they each have their own back-stories which are gradually hinted at in each episode.

My primary concern has been that they might veer off to some "doomed lovers" backstory from "centuries ago", but after seeing a small clip of the female character (from the past) and how cute/joyful she looked, I don't think the writers will do that. Hopefully, the death of Dalgu (both my daughter and I were tearing up with that) will be enough pathos.

I FF thru the scenes involving the murder of Seul Hee's dad (same as with the fishing boat - that was an obvious outcome), so am a bit unclear as to what happened. It's presumably the same night that the "evil spirit" was sealed up in a bottle - but was that shown? If someone could provide a brief summary (probably w/spoiler tag), I would appreciate it - really don't want to have to watch that scene.

I have read at least one synopsis that says she has "superpowers". For the time being, it appears to be latent, that is, unknown to her.
