Because the fact that there is a 2nd daughter has been stated twice during the series. It's just a strange thing to mention if it doesn't add anything to the plot. Just my theory, lol
No spoilers please cuz I can't watch it yet, how was episode 11 was it as good as episodes 9 and 10?
I'll repeat what I said earlier w/out the spoilers. Today's episode was outstanding - script, direction, camera/lighting and, of course, the acting. It was if the entire production crew poured everything into it and said "Episode 11 will cement what happened in the past and set the foundation for the remainder of the series - let's get it right". I'm amazed I ever thought ABP was the gold standard.
Ahem. As much as I love their kisses, I’m gonna talk about those scenes at the beginning of ep11! Don’t you…
Absolutely agree - first scenes were heart-wrenching. Not too many words - if the scenes weren't subbed, the viewer would still understand exactly what was going on in Go-in's head (and heart).
And agree w/you about loving their kisses, but the Go-jin pouring out his heart right before is what made my heart flutter.
"I'm about to lose my mind. Because it feels like I have a family now" 🥺🥺🥺If that wasn't the most heart…
Today's episode was just outstanding - script, direction, lighting, close-ups. And the acting, of course. 80% of the focus was on our couple - I guess the Soo-young/Se-gi stuff was important for future episodes, but glad it didn't overshadow the romance.
First scenes where he's trying to find her and we find out what she wrote in her diary - including the part about taking revenge on him. Not waiting for the elevator, gripping the steering wheel. A really great director (and actors) can communicate so much w/out the words.
Scenes with the family help cement that GoJin won't be alone - I loved the part where he and Dad returned and were both laughing. I think that sealed the deal for Shin-ah,. And the texts, as you mentioned.
And the last scene - hot kisses are nice, but it was his words that made my heart flutter.
Thanks for posting with the link - I was just about to post the url, but couldn't figure out how to do the link. I'm looking forward to the scene of Shin-ah thinking Go-Jin is acting out of pity because that means we get a 2nd reconciliation scene as well. This show is getting crazy!
It's been quite inconsistent unfortunately. Subs for Ep 5 and 7 were delayed by 7 to 8 hours, so I thought it…
Thanks everyone - I guess I will sleep in for a couple of hours tomorrow and cross my fingers that it will be ready around the time I'm fixing my first cup of coffee.
Is there a general/predictable (+/- a couple of hours) when the English subs are released? Will get up early if there is a good chance it will be available. [Air time is 5:30 am my time - Pacific Daylight)
The viewer/audience learns that ngj does not have amnesia at the very end of Episode 4 when he reveals his memory to Kang Min (gambler). At the end of Ep. 7, he reveals himself to Shin-ah. I think they are the only 2 people who KNOW that he does not have amnesia. Most of the characters never knew he had been diagnosed with amnesia. A handful believe he has amnesia - Se-gi, Soo-young and her secretary, Shin-ah's roommate, and perhaps one or two more that I can't immediately recall.

Observations:; 1. Chairman Baek has at least 2 daughters – this was mentioned twice. Once at the Soo-young’s inaugural ceremony (Ep. 2) and later by Chairman Baek himself (Ep. 7). Makes me want to go hmmmmmmmmm. . . . .?? 2. In the Ep. 1 English subs, Go-jin refers to the “hater” as “this punk has no life”, which according to my research is a term reserved for men; Does he believe the person is a man? 3. Go-jin (Ep 6) concluded that Shin-ah and Kang Min (the gambler) were not accomplices – so I think he now believes that the “threat” is over. As far as we know, he doesn’t suspect foul play with the lighting structure. 4. The audience knows there is a stalker and for those paying close attention (like on this MDL board!) are pretty sure it’s a woman. does Go-jin realize this or does he just assume that there is someone out there that hates him and wants him dead? 5. The stalker board shows up twice: (i) Ep. 4 (cutting up roses/camera) and (ii) Ep. 5 (calendars/sticky notes/photos). In Ep 5, right after phone camera shot in the dept. store and before the stalker board scene, there is a woman (or someone with long, wavy hair) walking through a narrow street. Does this mean anything – or nothing. 6. What was the point of the drugged glass of champagne at the KPEDA event? It wasn’t enough to kill anyone (including Go-Jin), but it was apparently the stalker due to scratches/possible suicide scars on wrist. Event with the lighting structure was far more deadly and, of course, the show begins with sniper gun aimed at Go-Jin so. . . . much to ponder. . 7. The lawyer is identified as “supporting cast”, so we will see him again. He knows WHO the woman was that claimed to be Go-jin’s fiancé. 8. According to Wikipedia, Tae In-ho, the actor that played a cameo role as the reporter in Ep 4 made a “special appearance in 'Crazy Love'... “An important role in holding the secret key] (in Korean)”. I re-watched all of those scenes, and I didn’t see a “secret key” – so I will be looking to see if he appears again. 9. The actor that plays Kang Min is also “supporting cast” – so I think we will see him again.
On the MyersBriggs personality spectrum, I am in the square that analyzes everything – always gathering information and trying to organize data in a meaningful way. So, I spent far too many hours today, re-watching different scenes, taking notes and began to put together a calendar (still a work-in-progress) and decided to share some things I noticed that may be of interest [See spoiler post below].
After episode 10?ABP was shit pretty much from episode 1.my friend watched an episode with me and she asked why…
Well, I'm new to K/Drama and it was ABP that really sold me on the genre (still learning). So, if it pulls in others - and builds stronger fans for the genre - then it's a positive. I lost interest in ABP at Ep 9, but if not for ABP, I would not have noticed Crazy Love - and I am OBSESSED with the Crazy Love romance+mystery story/plot. The path to the sublime takes many roads. Maybe Confuscious said something like that, haha.
Same, and I have a feeling that in the end, he might end up helping ML out.. I know they are rivals and ML mentioned…
Yes, began to home in on BSY's dad after re-watching Ep. 7. And, is Se-gi Jealous? Or, resentful that Go-jin won't share the spotlight? Guess we will find out eventually. :-)
She is not going to accept him right away I feel because he low key doesn't deserve that given he was such a jerk…
I agree with you/understand why he fired her - just not sure how "dating" (which I don't believe she will agree to) gets her back into the office the next day or so. I noticed in the previews that both are wearing the same clothes throughout the preview - so a lot will happen crammed into one "day" (even if the episode covers more than one "day").
Also noticed something else while re-watching episodes (looking for clues) - she has prepared at least four resignation letters and/or told him that she was quitting - and yet she always returned to the office for one reason or another (some understandable - some not). During the several days following the "firing", there were several scenes indicating that Go-jin was hoping that she would return.
I looked up the og text and yeah, "유언장을" means "make one's will" as it is the conjugated form from "유언장"…
Thanks for confirmation. When watching Business Proposal, there were multiple (and occasionally conflicting) translations of the official spoilers, but not enough fan interest for Crazy Love, I guess.
I thought about Gojin also read the part, perhaps Shina also wrote that she used to have crush on Segi before…
That's possible, but it appears from the spoiler that he is focused on her "imminent" death. I don't believe Se-gi ever planned to harm Go-jin - he even saved him by calling doctor after the peach trick. Go-jin thinks someone is trying to kill him and he fears it might be Se-gi - but dismisses the idea that it could be the "stalker" (called him/her a "punk" in Ep. 1) . He hasn't figured out they are separate threats. se-gi is working with someone on the outside - my theory is the father.
And agree w/you about loving their kisses, but the Go-jin pouring out his heart right before is what made my heart flutter.

Soo-young - give up already, you crazy b**ch.
