All those debates on whether this is a BL or bromance and the show toying a fine line between them up till the last week, then the makers decided to throw out all pretenses of a bromance completely in the last 4 episodes…🤣🤣🤣 I guess they thought if the ending is tragic enough it would not have problems with the censorship…Broke my heart though even if I knew what was coming 💔 💔 💔
Chinese creators should release any controversial dramas in one go like Netflix or Iqiyi does. At least we would be spared of this torment of not knowing if we will ever get to see the remaining episodes, even it gets cancelled overnight...😭😭😭

When Ye Wanying asked Su Yu about why he hit Wu Bi for her, he replied that he didn't hit Wu Bi because of her but because of himself. That sounded a lot like censored version of a confession.lol
I'm not the type that gets teary eyed over romance on screen. Sometimes when I read comments on how a beautiful proposal made people cry their eyes out, I feel like I am probably not romantic enough...lol On contrary, family sentiments hits me really hard. I pretty much had tears rolling my eyes during episode 9 here. The scene where Su Yu said he just wanted a love that was not shared, made me almost bawl out...😭
I keep coming back here to see many new viewers finding this gem and it makes really happy...I think if people can let go of their prejudices and give this drama a chance they will never be disappointed. This was a bright spot of my days while it was airing, and now it has become my comfort show and the standard with which I will rate future youth dramas against.
Completed it. High school arc was a little underwhelming, picked up pace in the middle with the uni episodes but again went down during the working life arc...It felt like every standard youth drama out there with nothing unique or special to it but still enjoyable due to good chemistry between the leads...
This was very sweet. Jun was great and our leads were believable, funny, sweet, and fairly good communicators…
Exactly my thoughts on the second couple romance. I was flabbergasted honestly!! He goes radio silent after saying he was going on a trip to nowhere and first thought she has is that he has forgotten her birthday and abandoned her and not a lick of concern at all to if something could have happened to him... I mean anybody in that situation would first think if something bad happened to their loved ones before thinking abandonment. How selfish and self absorbed is she?😱I skipped all their scenes after that. I thought JSW deserved so much better....

I was also worried about the ending spoiling my wish to watch it later…coz you never know, it’s a Chinese BL/bromance after all….🤔Better to watch it when I can really enjoy the series…
