Oh me too! I just know he doesn’t fit some people’s standards for being handsome - like some of the actors are considered so beautiful in c-dramaland - but they just don’t do it for me and I struggle to finish the series.

If I don’t like something, I just don’t watch it. Nobody is forcing ppl to watch things - unless being a cdrama reviewer is their job. I am usually just a reader, but this show made me want register and discuss these lovely characters!

Agree! I think defo I would give this 10 out of 10 for acting. It was shame about the styling esp the FL because she is so pretty, although I did like the red, white black combos ok NYX.

The editing was a bit too weird for me sometimes, and script was quite standard, so I felt the characters carried this drama - loved the bonds between all the ladies (exception for Wen Wen 😝 ), and the guys too.

I saw that there were comments on how ugly he is 😔 ppl can be so mean as I said before - he may not be the best looking C-drama actor, but he has distinctive features and is full of charisma and can make you feel.

Finally caught up - managed to find the last eps online (no English subs - so I will have to re-watch again to understand everything) but just couldn’t wait! I had watched 38 before 33-37 so hadn’t understood the full grasp of what happened. The last 2 eps were just torture for NYX🥺 but DYX was so amazing. I FELT those slaps.

The chicken drumstick scene stood out for me too - the way he ate it after Ji Man rejected it😭…and the 1 yr later scene at the harbour had so many emotions - before they decided to torture NYX one last time. Question I have - is that were they all in on it at the end? There are surprises and then there surprises…poor NYX. He is WAAY too forgiving 😂

Emperor was so mean to play such a trick on NYX - he was walking away all dejected….poor NYX 🥺 and there he was chuckling to himself playing matchmaker 😂

Can't believe you are awake! Do you not need sleep after your marathon?! 😜Yeah he might not what people consider good looking, but he has so much charisma which is more attractive and the ability to tell a story through his characters. I do hope you get to see more of him with the actresses you like!

I can’t believe this is your first drama with DYX! I first watched him in Romance of Tiger and the Rose, then that was it, I had to hunt down everything he had been in - and I don’t even really like modern dramas. In Just an Encore he is soooo SWEET, a lovely character and you get to hear his own voice (and that final scene 🥺), and in Moonlight (with Ester Yu), he plays an annoying character, but he brings this vulnerability to it. Intense Love has no storyline but is just pure sugar, and oddly he looks older in that, but plays a very mature and rational character. I just really enjoy each of his character. Many people say his characters in ROTF is the same as ROTR but they are subtly different. I do hope you get to enjoy his other works!
