Ha I thought I was alone as no one mentioned it. This is what happens when the guy picks the wedding dress 🤪 joking aside - it was shame as not only was it a bit horrid (prob the most horrid I have seen in ancient dramas), but it probably got the most most scenes for a wedding dress ever (flash backs not included), as there were drawings, and Ms Shui wore it, and then Ji Man wore it twice as well as her holding it up to herself when she found it!

The irony is that IF she started demanding things she would be cancelled for being a diva! Can’t really win. I really feel for actors these days. It’s like I enjoy their work and them being a good person is a bonus, but I really don’t give a hoot what they do in private - I just like the characters they create!

I am very excited about the Dali temple one, because the trailer has some real cool fighting scenes! I haven’t seen the cartoon it is based on, and in the trailer he does not look like a cat! So be interesting to see how they approach it.

Yup totally that! Very different characters - I can only say the ppl who say he is the same prob just watched at double speed or viewing in background. Or maybe I am just an obsessive fan and I take the time to appreciate his craft 😝

I am not sure you will like the other actresses as I think you are more discerning than me! Moonlight with Esther Yu, he is a really childish, proud and annoying but DYX just manages to inject a sweetness and vulnerability to the character. In Just an Encore he is so adorable, actress is pretty, but she was given an horrendous haircut! And Reset Life the actressed is dressed down. Intense Love is pure sugar and not much storyline.

I really don’t get the hate for NYX in the earlier eps - his wife was a tyrant! I thought all his actions were justified. He wasn’t particularly mean, just cold. The scene where she got beaten was nothing to do with him, the assassin protected her, make sense he would be furious. His Han Shou character was different because he was actually evil and wanted to kill CQQ but was turned and was quite a jealous character. NYX was completely different in that respect. I do notice in a lot of BTS he is often still in character. His “real” character is seen in the variety shows is quite loud and playful. ☺️

OK I take it back - brocade is so beautiful - but prob no the best fit for the Ji Man character / show. It’s a light airy rom-com and I guess that is the aesthetics they were going for!

I thought she look very pretty with her makeup and hair - even tho it wasn’t the traditional up do - for me it was the dresses - one scene in particular where she was off on date with NYX the maids were like you look so beautiful, and the dress looked pretty much like all the others. I think you mentioned in another post, it was to give her an ethereal fairy look - but personally I love a heavier texture and embroidery on costumes. But that is just a personal thing.
