I still can’t get my head around the fact that people said DYX was not ethereal enough to be in xianxia - I thought of all his past historical dramas, the looks in LYST were out of this world!

Ha I missed that! Indeed - their love was so strong they didn’t need the red thread to bind them anymore. ☺️ it’s was only 300 years, so actually not that much for 50K year old immortals! And there is no doubt they would go off and lead a happy life together now that the heavenly realm is all restored and Moulou clan vindicated. It would been lovely to have a shot where they were living domestic bliss with kiddos like the book but that exists in my head!

I hear you! And I think DYX would be the first to say it wasn’t all down to him. Loved all the characters. It was a sweet little show.
They did have so much chemistry and I think it’s just lovely to see that they are good friends IRL - so whether the CP is real or not, it doesn’t matter. I think their friendship bought a lot to their roles.

I dislike misunderstandings etc so enjoyed the simplicity of their relationship - I really want to watch Yong Ye Xing He, but I am also worried because it is not the type of story I like. But then again - xianxia isn’t my fav either!

Loved her character development the most. CK’s was more subtle - but it was there too. I think YCY recently did an acting course too. ☺️

And the CGI was sooooo pretty 😍 I felt I was in the heart of nebula in the heavenly scenes!

It was the editing for me - but I stuck with it and grew very attached to it in the end.
