What I find interesting is DYX answer to whether he believes in Love at first sight, and he said yes, although sometimes you may not realise it at first, only afterwards you look back and you realised you fell in love at the start (or something along these lines).

I know how you feel! I discovered DYX in 2020 and tried to watch the Heart Signal variety show but there were no English subs and I understood nothing, but now with LYST, kind fans with language skills are digging up the past and translating the vids and I am so happy! I have learned a lot of Chinese due to rewatching a lot of DYX/YCY clips 😂

I understand where you are coming from, he is one of the few actors that can express so much with his eyes, he can play a stoic character, but he is not blank, you can tell his thoughts from his eyes. It is a talent and so frustrating that he is not more popular and recognised for it. Many people get upset that for example in Just and Encore and LYST that he is not really in the last episode, but only there for a fleeting moment. But I think the director know exactly what they are doing, he can convey so much with no words, just his eyes and smile, and it leaves us wanting more! I also think he is one of the few actors that can act with his body, in LYST where he returns from his 2nd tribulation and wipes XY’s tear, the shot is just his back and head tilt, but it said everything! However I do see his followers on Weibo slowly increasing each day, slow and steady is a good thing. I really hope as a fan base we have many more years to enjoy his work! :)

I remember one comment YCY made in the variety show is that DYX is the master of unrequited love, and he didn’t really deny it. But what does that mean?!! 🤯
