Can someone reccomend me a cdrama like this? This is the second cdrama I'm watching currently (the other one is princess weiyoung), and both are amazing!!! I'm not usually into light dramas, but this is great!! While it's light, the characters all have lives and feel real. I love it! Any reccomendations anyone?
Need your HELP my fellow Lee Jong Suk fans! How much do you recommend School 2013? I've pretty much caught…
I watched the first 8 episodes, it's a slow burner, but not in a bad way. More like a "this is good, but I can watch it casually" way. I need to get back on it, cuz it was actually really good. Has a different feel. Not super suspenseful, but good and meaningful all the same.
I just looked up an article about it. And it does look fishy. Every illness is the devil, they worship their leader as a God, they "cure" illiteracy, and other fishy things. Also the people they healed (in the clips) seemed like actors. I'm hesitant to call other religions evil unless there is actual proof, because my religion too (Mormon), also gets a lot of hate and scrutinizing....when we're law abiding citizens, who believe in Jesus, like other christians. While some things look like the religion from Save Me, it doesn't necessarily mean it's an evil cult. I wonder though if there's a huge cult, like the one in Save Me....
When I was 15 I watched Gu Family Book, and loved Suzy in it. Thought she had great chemistry and brought her character to life. As I got older I heard more and more about how suzy sucks, I thought maybe I was wrong. I saw that when I was younger, maybe she does suck, and I was too inexperienced to realize it. Well, I'm older, and I'm watching While You Were Sleeping, and once again I like her. Her character is cute, quirky, strong, and relatable. I will admit her crying scenes could use work, but they aren't awful. Overall, I'd say she's a good actress. Really, I don't get the hate for her. Because if we're being real, there are maybe 5 actresses that I can think of, that I would actually follow. Female characters in kdramas usually, not always, fall in to one type. The love interest that changes the boy through her love and warmth. Most k actresses, in my opinion, aren't amazing. Most are just good. Yet suzy, is the only one who gets all the hate, when she acts just as well as the others. Instead of bashing on suzy, let's bash on the fact that females aren't given a wide diversity of roles, which hurts their acting capabilities.
I don't really get why some people get confused by the story line. Maybe it's me, I am so used to complicated…
Thanks for the reply!! No, someone explained it to me, but your explanation makes sense too! And haha, I usually watch complicated dramas, so I don't know why I had a hard time with this one lol.
30 min parts? This one has 1hr long episodes lol. But episode two, was really good! Better imo. I was really worried this show would take the "I'm male, and you're an incompetent female, let me save the day route," which would really bother the feminist in me haha. But Suzy stood her own, and has helped him. I really loved it when he said "help me" further drove in the point that they're partners. So far I'm loving suzys role and her character! Quirky, strong, yet still human! Hopefully the show keeps it up :)
Ahhh I love it! LJS and Suzy are both doing great, Suzy is definitely proving her haters wrong. Each episode so…
Haha right? I don't get all her haters. Imma be real here, most Korean (not all, there are some definite acceptions), just aren't that good. It's not even their fault, it's just most female characters in kdramas are all the same, and don't have a lot of complexities. I saw Suzy in gu family book, thought she did great. Was the first kdrama female character I fell in love with. And now in here, I feel like she's doing fine. Is she lee bo young? No. But she does just as good as most k actresses. So far, I've enjoyed her characters and even thought to myself "aw, I missed her" people are so harsh on her because she's an idol, even though she's about as good as the rest (from what I've seen).
Just watched first episode....so you're telling me...the same guy who was like "sorry. there's no evidence to support your statement, sucks to suck" is also the guy, that got in a car accident because of a dream....also, both of these guys were framed by yu beom? yet one was so heartless, in her interview?? what the heck? K. Sorry. I just don't understand the plot at all, I'm not even mad, just super confused.
And i hope the whole drama isn't, girl can never solve anything, but guy can always save the day!
I think the American version will be good in it's own right. An American remake will probably adapt the korean…
Saw the first episode it was great!! Really kept the spirit of the show! Seriously tho, it was almost exactly like it. The childhood story and how he gets in the hospital were pretty similar.
I was wondering what type of drama this is beyond the tag list. Is it violent? Is it creepy? I love suspenses…
It has murder, sexual assault, cults, torture, and suicide. TBH, I mean this is cheesy, especially since I watch a lot of intense shows. But this show scares the crap out of me, and I always have to run upstairs at night (which is unfortunately the only time I have to watch it). It's a realistic creepy, which is what scares me the most.
*Reads comments* starts to wonder if manly enough to watch show..
Whelp. I almost peed my pants a couple times. Ok. So the thing is, this show isn't like paranormal scary. There's no ghosts, monsters (unless you count humans....and there's plenty), and demons (well...I mean I think father is up there with the devil...but technically no). It's just realistic scary. There is bullying, sexual assault, cults, murder, brainwashing, and kidnapping. If those things will scare you, don't watch it. If you're just scared of ghosts, and can handle those things, go ahead and watch it. I think it's great, but I also thrive off of intense dramas like this.
I'm at episode 7 so this comment may contain some minor SPOILERS. Nothing major but do be careful if you…
Sang Hwan gets better! He's a coward at first, but really changes and tries to do everything to get the girl out.
And looolle same girl same. I'm usually pretty peaceful when watching dramas, and don't like revenge plots that involve murder, but in this one I'm like "sooo...can we just kill father already??"
i just started this drama and so i'm on episode 4 but oh my God! i'm used to the cliche, rom-com kdramas…
Dude, intense dramas are for the win. They all have different plots, and aren't the same thing every time. I have a list of some great intense dramas, if you want.
