No they're giving her hallucinatory drugs. Sang hwans mom is basically in a waking coma. I'm just curious as to WHY. Even if it's not revelant to the plot (which I think it could be), psychologically wise I'm curious, how someone can end up in such a state

Sooo question. Regarding sang hwans mother (I'm on ep 10). In general, how does one end up in such a state? Like through traumatic experience, biology, a mix of both? Something else? I'm just wondering if there's ever hope for her to recover. It seems like she understands what's going on around her, so doesn't she also understand her son wants her to be active in his life? Maybe she has super low confidence or inferiority complex? I've never known someone like this, so I'm just trying to see how she works, or if there's hope for her to wake up.

Haven't seen the trailer....but she has amazing chemistry with lee seung gi in gu family book! That's also the only drama I've seen her in lol.

Thanks for the response! And ok that makes sense! Lol at first I was so confused with both of those things haha. I'm halfway through ep 3 and I'm loving it so far! And I'll check out those dramas! I've heard great things about nirvana in fire, so I'll definitely check it out! And lol I agree the fights do look cooler. It's like a gruesome, bloody, dance lol.

the first episode was so boring/weird. is it worth continuing?

I've never seen a chinese drama before, but came across this, and decided to try out the first episode. It was really good! Definitely will continue watching it! Anyone have recommendations for other good chinese dramas? Also. Is it normal for chinese people to talk in third person? Princess xin er is always like "xin er cannot bare for you to leave" is that normal? and do these people have super powers and can fly..?

I still have problems with it....but this looks really cute, so imma try to get over it and watch this. And @ybnrmalatall really? I think it sounds so pretty lol.

He said the people looked happier. You can also tell that being in jail really threw him through a loop. He looks a lot more depressed. He's also most likely very lonely. So a community of people who promise friendship and happiness, is going to look very tempting to him. Or. He's gonna get caught, and they'll torture him into belief. I can also see them killing him tho, that would be a bad writing move cuz legit everyone loves him....tho it is pre recorded and they couldn't've predicted that.

TBH, dropped it after 5 ep. Dan Ah (main girl) is a complete witch. The other main three tho are fine, but it looks like they're pairing dan ah with Kang soo, who I love, and can't have that. Also, a friend of mine dropped it, and she never drops dramas.
