A highly underrated movie that deserves so much better. T_T
Ok that makes sense! Haha, I thought he blamed his dad, or both...because he was yelling at his dad about the scissors and how he saw him (and destroyed his shop), but I can also see him blaming himself because he was there and couldn't stop it. And it makes sense that his sight was just getting worse, because he was just a little off, not completely blind. Thanks for clearing these things up!!!
So I totally thought the ahjussi was going to be the one dead. I mean I guessed one or both would die, but I thought for sure the ahjussi would die. BUT NO IT WAS YOUNG KWANG!!! Gosh the snow scene was killing me TT
i am a simple person. i see yeo jin goo. i will watch.
Have you seen Shoot My Heart??? It is sooooo good! That and circle are my favorite works of his so far. But, I have some questions about it...and have been wanting to ask someone, but it isn't super popular so no one knows! So if you have watched it, or when you do (it's on kissasian), tell me! Anyway, if you haven't seen totally recommend. And this morning I watched the Long Way Home, and oh my gosh I didn't think War Comedy could work, but it was fricking hilarious. Jin Goo (Young Kwang in the movie) was soooo funny!! I didn't know he could do comedy lol, I've typically seen him in more serious roles. Anyway, it's about two soldiers set during the Korean War. One soldier is from South Korea (Nam Bok) and how he is trying to deliver a top secret document to the other side I believe. A North Korean soldier, Young Kwang (Jin Goo) comes across this document and hides it from Nam Bok. It's about the chase that ensues and how the two eventually become friends. It's funny and makes you think about war and sides. I gave it 8 stars, I reviewed it too, if you want to check it out :) Anyway I would recommend it!
And I'm unsure about whether to watch HwaYi or not...is Jin Goo a killer...? Cuz that's what the synopsis said, and I'm not sure how wild I am about that. Lol I just watched two feel good movies, haha enjoying the mood.
Just saw a preview in the theater, and waiting for the USA premiere on June 15th.
I really want to see this!! Hopefully its showing in Idaho! And that's good to know, cuz I looked it up and it said it was only airing in CA, so maybe if its airing in Arizona, it'll air in Idaho too!

haha just went on a jin goo movie watching spree. I saw him in Shoot My Heart and The Long Way Home. Both were amazing! I've now seen him play tragic teen lover (Moon Embraces the Sun), schizophrenic patient (Shoot My Heart), innocent young soldier boy (The Long Way Home), and loyal, determined, and desperate younger brother (Circle). He's so versatile! I love him :) I want to watch him in Warriors of the Dawn (a movie that just came out), but I don't know where to find it....

Haha, me with Missing 9. I was actually worried for this drama at first cuz it had Tae Choi Joon and the main girls name was Bong Hee, I was like this must be a bad omen..
and @Kerin, sometimes I'll watch a drama even though it annoys me for two reasons. 1. its so bad, I'm just curious to see how bad it can get and 2. there is something that I still like, it's just I'm also annoyed.
Reads summary: lol, I'll be skipping this one.
Reads comments: nevermind, I guess I'll watch it.
Actually watches: T___T Why did I do this to myself???

Right?? I've seen other Asian movies (Solomon's Perjury part 1 and 2, and Intuition) and this one by far is the best! But there were some things I found confusing. Did Soo Myeong blame himself or his father for his mother's death? Was Seung Min ever blind, or was he always faking it? And at the end, did Seung Min know that Soo Myung would go back, or did Soo Myung just choose to go back?
