Yah, when I saw the kiss, I was like "what the heck is going on?" Like honestly, I was understanding Yeok's character. He clearly feels betrayed that Chae Gyeong is close with the king, the person that is always trying to expel/kill him. Like I would feel super hurt too. And while he's yelling at her, he just all of a sudden kisses her. Like what the heck??? Who would do that, in that situation??

Is it possible that Chae Gyung marries Yoong and becomes queen? Then, when Yeok becomes king, she is deposed and…
I can handle cousins dating (I mean they're royal and it was way back then) but I cannot handle her dating her uncle, ugh that's so gross. Just the age gap, the fact they're related, and I just really hate him.

3 questions:
1. Does Yeok have that nightmare every night? Like is this a regular occurence, only when he gets emotional, or was this the first time?
2. Does Chae Gyeong know how cruel the king was to Yeok?? Like how can she be nice to him???
3. What was with that kiss at the end...? Like it felt super out of place to me....

I've been thinking about this drama waaay too much, but um while I was obsessing, like is this drama solely about finding Woo Jin and piecing together what happened between 2017 and 2037, or is it also about getting rid of all care chips in general, and possibly overthrowing the government (or at least picking less psychotic leaders)Because if this drama is also about the latter, we're gonna need waaay more than 12 episodes.

Is this bad, but IF Investiagor Bang is actually alive and okay, I was sorta hoping that scene to belong to Eun Hyuk...I was hoping if Eun Hyuk nearly died they could become friends again :( Maybe if Investigator Ban dies, or even nearly dies, Ji Wook will still bond with Eun Hyuk...

K guys 2 questions, is it just me or in the preview when Joon Hyuk is banging on the door, does he say "Woo…
I toootally missed that in the previews. Time to rewatch the preview for the millioneth time. I disagree, both Woo Jin and Bum Gyun are very determined and even physical. In fact I would say Bum Gyun is more determined than Woo Jin. When Woo Jin and Bum Gyun's father left, Bum Gyun spent 10 years looking for his dad (didn't they imply he had been obsessed with Byul and aliens since their dad left?) Anyway, he even went to jail, lied to his brother about how long he was out, and was down right stalkerish towards Jung Yeon. On the other hand, Woo Jin basically had a "screw you" attitude, and let the issue drop. When Woo Jin's brother went missing, there were times in the beginning, where I was feeling like Min Young. "Do you realize your brother is missing?? That he's gone and might be dead". Can't remember if those were her exact words, but that was the gist. As time passed on of course, he got more determined and his conversation to Min Young I feel like was a snap to reality. Look I'm not saying Woo Jin isn't determined, we can see in ep 8 with the fight scene, that he's very determined. I would just argue that Bum Gyun is even more dogmatic and determined. Also to be honest, we haven't seen enough screen time with Bum Gyun to see how physical he is. But since he went to jail, I can assume he knows how to get physical. Also Bum Gyun in episode 1 pretending everythings alright reminded me of Joon Hyuk in ep 8 pretending that everything is okay. They both have the ability to act like everything is ok, even if they have something more pressing on their mind. Woo Jin does not have that ability. In the past, I believe that Jung Yeon tried to flirt with Woo Jin to get him to smile, and told him he should smile more. Which is response was "can I smile in a time like this?" I think Joon Hyuk is attached to Jung Yeon because a. she's a connection to his brother b. he only has Woo Jin's memories, so he's going to think favorable c. he can't remember the "evidence" that he got that she's supposedly evil. Lastly, I agree that there's some personality difference between Ho Soo and Woo Jin, but i find their story of both adamently believing (or wanting to believe) something that's wrong, and then through a figurative slap to the face, facing the truth, and fully believing the truth. That just seems to be an interesting similarity to me.

Sorry for the essay! Hope it makes sense!

I know, but there was an untranslated part where it sounded like he said woo Jin. I agree with that, BUT isn't everyone in smart earth a neat freak, and doesn't the care chip make you slower to react? Anyway, a huge similarity i see between them is that they both believed what they WANTED to believe, and it wasn't until a slap in the face basically, they believed what was true.

Don't get me wrong, I love this show. But I thought ep 21 and 22 were poorly written, and I would like to see more honesty

Don't cry too much . Everything is gonna be okay . That's means no one gonna die right?! Or at least…
I'm guessing he's saying, "it'll be ok, there will be better days" or he's saying "your friend won't actually die" if it is the latter one, it would be wise to have Eun Hyuk be the one to nearly die. I feel like the only way Ji Wook will forgive Eun Hyuk, is if he nearly dies tbh.

Why do I feel that it would be Eun Hyuk who would die...
I feel like that too. When it showed that future scene, while he looked very sad he also looked very angsty. I feel like if it was Bong Hee, I feel like he would be in shock and more gentle, but still very sad. But if it was Eun Hyuk I feel like he would feel very sad, but very angsty at the same time. If it was his "dad" (the old guy), I feel like he would be crying saying he can't lose two fathers. And I feel like he would just be shocked and crying if it was the other guy. Anyway, based on his reaction I feel like its Eun Hyuk.

Second question, (ignoring all evidence on whether he is woo jin or not) just in general, don't Ho Soo and Woo Jin have similar personalities? Because just personality wise, they seem very similar to me.

Title Suspicious Partner Spoiler
I will gladly praise this drama, and defend its characters (if they deserve defending), but the latest two episodes were poorly executed to say the least. Bong Hee was killing me, especially in episode 22. First of all, doesn't she know that Ji Wook is already suspecting or knows that Hyeon Soo is a killer. Her telling him that he's the killer, is just confirming what he already believes. Secondly, Ji Wook deciding to throw away his prosecutor career and become a lawyer for her, is HIS choice. She in no way forced him to do that, he could've just told her to be a prosecutor, but because he loves her, he decided to make a lawyer firm. He chose this life. To be a lawyer means sometimes you criminals get let loose, and knowing and accepting this he still decided to become a lawyer for her. I don't get how she doesn't understand this, like it was 100% his choice. She's not telling him anything, and really for no logical reason. Personal feelings aside (as in I don't want Wookie to get hurt again), I sort of like her with Eun Hyuk more. They have an honest relationship and completely understand each other. Bong Hee and Ji Wook though are never honest with eachother for the sake of "protection" will lie to eachother, even if they believe they are in mortal danger. Ugh, I just wish they would be honest, we don't need this unnecessary drama.

On a different note, seriously? He sees the future...what is this a supernatural drama?? No. I'm watching a romance/crime drama. I'm glad to dramatize the plot we have a ominous prediction of two people dying (which I'm guessing Eun Hyuk btw based on his reaction). *rolls eyes*

These past two episodes were so dramatic, and had a bunch of unneeded things, I hope the next two episodes are better!

I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHERE MY BABY WOOJIN IS this is so stressful LOL
Well the Chairman clearly knows something because he has Woo Jin's phone, which Woo Jin had last. I have two theories. Well 3 actually. Woo Jin is Joon Hyuk, which would lead us to wonder who Bum Gyun is. Woo Jin is an alien, and is still played by the actor Jin Goo (who is amaaazzing). The evidence I have to support this is that the computer opened up when the star scanned Woo Jin. Maybe it only opens up to aliens. But more likely answer Byul was closest to Woo Jin, so maybe he's the password. And my last theory, Ho Soo is Woo Jin. I think that when Woo Jin was captured, he was sent to Smart Earth as Ho Soo with no memories, or implanted memories. The evidence I have for this is that Ho Soo and Woo Jin are really similar in personality, and Joon Hyuk has been building a relationship with Ho Soo. I can't wait till next episode! It looks like we get more clues or know who Woo Jin is!
