So I'm gonna watch the second movie now, and I hope that it explains jihoon ditching sowoo better. Cause I just found that stupid in the kdrama. Like seriously, he even gave an "if, then" statement. Like what did you think would happen??
I must be one of the few who actually preferred the darker serious theme at the start, than the comedic-ish scenes…
I actually like the comedic scenes, because at least they're funny. While the darker scenes are usually full of plot holes and no humor to distract us from the ridiculousness. BUT in ep 11 I would've preferred a serious scene between kijoon and joonho, because I really want kijoon to come around and fight with joonho. I find it so sad that people he considers "friends" aren't really on his side. Especially since he would do anything for them. That scene with them chasing eachother was really funny and sad at the same time.
I sorta found ep 11 humorous but deperessing. The whole scene with kijoon and joonho was while funny, also really sad. Once again, someone after claiming to be on joonhos side isn't there when he really needs him. I hope kijoon comes around!
So I watched the kdrama, and I was wondering if joon yeong is in this movie? I've watched a couple trailers and read a couple reviews, but I don't see any character similar to joon yeong. Which makes me sad, because he was my favorite character.
I don't know if I should watch is or if it'll be boring hmmmmmm
This is literally my favorite drama. The characters are well-written and make you want to root for them (even the petty majun lol). It has a really beautiful message and you'll either be smiling like crazy or crying buckets the whole time. It's a drama that really makes you think about life. Anyway, I love it and would definitely recommend it. Hopefully after two years you'll finally decide to watch it ;)
So I watched this when I was 13 and now I'm watching it at 18. There's something I never really realized before. The dad, Il Sung I believe, is awful. He literally doesn't visit his wife in the hosptial when she's giving birth, he has an affair while she's giving birth, he never stands up for her when the grandma is being rude, and overall is really apathetic towards her. I'm also watching his scenes with tak gu, and while I'm glad tak gu has someone on his side at that poisonous house, how he favors tak gu is really disgusting. Tak gu literally just waltzes in and the dad gives him all sorts of attention. While majun is petty and immature, I don't blame him for hating takgu. Tak gu is getting attention that he never got. Also the older sister clearly wants to learn from the father, but because she's a girl he never teaches her or gives her the time of day? Wow, he just really bothers me and I can't believe how I didn't realize how awful he was when I first saw it.
