And yes I know how all the writers like to write about "lovers" in these chinese historical dramas be they wuxia or xianxia to stab each others in chest which is such a stupid scene to me and they also love to include feud and hatred of main male and female characters when they romancing but still I like romance stories when some writers write them with couple actually conquer the story without these scenes and also without one of them destroy the whole story world and tarnish self image

Huh don't tell me this thing is a harem drama...I don't watch harem dramas...the only time I watched these harem dramas was when I wanted to see a certain actors or story how it goes but I hate these dramas...why must anyone act in a harem set up?...it just ruin the drama collection like only if you really don't care it can be watched for a certain actor but it is still a terrible drama if it's about a harem because it's not available to be watched for everybody
Maybe it look bloated because he did not acted in a historical drama with long hair and make up for a long time and everyone seems to think it's unnatural for him but its probably not different from him from modern look in terms of his physical look underneath the make up and long hair

Omg the ending is just so cool! Just like the start of the drama this all in after her car accident where she ended up dead it was all just her coma situation and then she woke up in the end but I cried when I saw ahe was just in coma and woke up from it...so they saved her in real!
I actually liked this drama the whole 27 episodes and when Sima Jiao died by passing his cultivation to Tingyan I just felt nothing but dull and it made me dislike it a bit and after he reappeared as a emperor in mortal historical realm set up and the way he behave it just makes me feel dislike for him and for all the rest episodes...

It makes no sense hold onto it sealed for anymore long time... Especially because it's Cheng Yi's brilliant work and acting with his professional talent sense for picking the professional work and story to act where every second of each episode is eye catching and like a whole new world entrance
I just watched first episode and am now watching second episode and while characters look handsome it's a bit to me in my opinion hard to be obsessed with it especially it's hard to be in love with main male character as this is his first drama ever because he is very new so it's either you watch if you are really determined because of a white haired handsome man or because it looks like it's bromance or you don't because it also look like it's not profesional produced but you can see if you ever watched a short serie that it's made just like them and plus it's episodes are also short like 20 min just like a short serie production
I wish this drama have more than 33 episodes because it's such an awesome drama and finally one of my favorite quality in the latest time...because it's not the only such great drama of this year but after love of the divine tree which was one more of such dramas and was released early this year after that drama there was fox spirit matchmaker love in pavilion and now when destiny brings a demon is finally another one nicely written and played out romance xianxia drama with very satisfying characters and their behaviors and I'm really happy that it's released so finally there's really something worthy to watch and to immerse yourself into it because after love of the divine tree I felt like I need more but everything else was junk and I had to wait summer to get fox spirit matchmaker love in pavillion and when destiny brings a demon to be satisfied but I really wish that this drama is longer because I don't want it be over after just 33 episodes...such an awesome work and story must last longer because it's simply awesome and because after this one I'm gonna be in a lack of drama mood again...unless the harsh Cheng Yi's team of dramas makers and releasers don't finally allow any of his work to be available for watch...

I completely agree with you...man...I'm already sick and frustrated because in all other dramas where male lead is not Cheng Yi the male lead never have Cheng Yi's charisma and I miss and need his charisma and all other male leads in other dramas that release are always just cold and calculative and as evil as a devil...but I hate that
