Hahaha same as me I also can't get immersed into any drama that much with my complete soul even though I started watching some dramas of the actors I like that I did not even cared about when they first aired and were in ongoing and am even watching some old dramas that seems to have sort of resembling name and story to what I might like but none of it is really that much speaking to my heart and soul as much as Cheng Yi's dramas does but it can't be helped when the annoying ChengYi's production team won't release any of his newly made dramas and so it is every single year for Cheng Yi and his audience which just make his audience suffer and I believe it also drags Cheng Yi down I guess

I watched moonlight mystique when it came out but i stopped to watch it at fox tribe or rather a fox realm because they were pulled in a tomb vortex and ended up in a fox realm and that's the last i've seen and I dropped it there because I felt like its getting way to theatrical and unInteresting but now I kinda feel like I have already watched everything by now what's really worth watching even if the rating on some of the dramas that were really worth my watching there dramas were still amazing and worth watching for me but now I started feeling like I'm out of a good drama and I started rewatching a dramas of actors I like and watched some dramas but not fully because of no good enough but not definitely bad and boring storyline and acting but the stories are just not the way I enjoy watching so I might as well finish this one too just because I like actors but the drama is good just not good enough but not bad

I just yearn to watch Cheng Yi's dramas every so often because he makes even non romance dramas very amazing to watch and I love them as equally as romance dramas

Thanks for the explanation and yes villains are always bad but i personally did not dislike Baicha's grudge on immortals because they shunned him and did not allowed him to become the immortal and they awoke the grudge into him and the fact that he did not get that bad punished but still died was because neither Jinxiu was a kind guy to Hongning so he couldn't compare to Baicha enough as they both were the ones she did not fully liked but also both were the one she tried to like as Baicha was trying to be her friend but it went poor as he's simply unlucky and Jinxiu is the one who she loved but he hurt her so bad in their wedding day in mortal realm but fortunately she ended up still loving him in the end because she managed to let go of the resentment and grudge

This main male character reminds me of Cheng Yi lol that's a good sign and I already watched it but not full I only watched like 1 or 2 episodes once but I don't mind watching more episodes hopefully it's interesting

I agree they should take us viewers more seriously

Sword swing on people still makes no sense to me and the way he claim it was saving them is even more weirder but yes maybe internet of the actual mythology makes anything clear about this drama because I usually have no issues with watching xianxias but only this 1 makes no sense to me and i watch Cdramas since last year so not that new but not very old but this is the only drama be it wuxia or xianxia or modern that I don't understand how and why is this made the way it is...in fact the entire main male and female story is very confusing because she is born a flower than was killed right In the very start of the drama in first episode and revived by Jinxiu and than she lived a sa flower and again sent to mortal world because she couldn't be with him as she pleases and than she was made a demon king and in the heaven got killed by Jinxiu and all this because she came to heaven as the one who got revived from mortals and demons resentment and now shes like again back to mortal world and away from Jinxiu and the white camellia flower guy revived her again lol because she woke up again in his house lol

But still he just swung a sword to save their souls and that's what's weird also things happened because of the swing of a sword...he looked like he is killing them but if he did like not use the sword he wouldn't make so many other scenes to happen and half the story would have less dramas going on but also he wouldn't than fail the tribulation and there would be no bad things for him lol

Yes but that death of Hungning made Jinxiu fail his tribulation while the death of Jinxiu made Hungning the immortal she also gained the floral place to maintain as a lord lol

Yes but still how can he save/collect spirits with a sword?
Or maybe for the story the magic of this part was meant to magically gather them in a sword and release them in the reincarnation hall?
But he could have used a palm magic if the magic for this part was meant to be used for spirits gathering

I want Cheng yi's dramas too this guy always makes dramas make so much fun to watch and so quality...no one but no one has the entire freaking collection with Cheng Yi's taste and style of dramas every other actor has few meh or solid drama quality and 1 of entire collection is like a number one but Cheng Yi have every single drama number 1 quality and that's not fair that we need to wait all the time for any of his newer dramas to be released...

I am talking about an act when he said he was saving spirits of Hungning's parents which caused revenge yearning for her and death as well and than the even more vengeful white camellia demon/pixi revived her to do her revenge and no it was not a memory when he did it it was real and also when they talked about it in these last episodes it was also real and she even reunited with her parents again and they dined together but he swung a sword to save them....

Yes that's true but he was like just swung his sword with supernatural power in him and her parents were even dead lying on the ground and later they just make him say he was saving their spirits with this act?...I know he was immortal and they were mortals including that Hungning called herself a mortal but she is a demon king and all that but even though Jinxiu was a immortal in this particular tribulation still how the swing of a sword even with supernatural power can save a soul?... what's that?...

Not really wasted because they get paid for the struggle and effort in acting all of this but we the audience are nower gonna be satisfied to watch because they never care to finally release things

I don't know about this one version but I loved an anime a lot when I found it and watched it but i do hope this one version is as amazing as how anime was

I hope to see an actual quality story...

This drama ending is weird but ok...the part of suppression of her demon king power and this strange Jinxiu's saving of her parents is such a strange story writing lol...sometimes authors of these stories write without caring about quality of things and sense is lost somewhere on the sideroad...idk...

What I noticed in a moment but forever is that Liu Xue Yi's character did have the sufferings by his supreme lord of heaven but it was because he was ambitious to pursue immortality so much and for a good first half of the entire drama the chemistry and relationship of him and his heroine was very weak and almost like incompatible but later at other half it increased and he started being romantic with her more and in kill me love me he was doing very fine in very first episode lol but it wasn't set up to be exactly a feeling of love but more like only pretense to cover up her being infiltrator but in also second half of the drama when they ended in exile they became very close and it turned up to be a very romantic love story drama with my personal likable taste because I liked that drama of him even though he was a villain at first half of this drama and in in blossom he was fine overall and I believe in in blossom Liu Xue Yi wasn't actually ambitious at all because as I remember it...it doesn't look like he was ambitious there at all...but he was ambitious in love and redemption and in a moment but forever and destiny of white snake i think he was ambitious too but there he was a demon villain and a brother immortal and he was also ambitious in legend of chusen because he pursued to rid the world of evil to a point that he willingly there drank demon blood water and became a beast with a killing intent...and at that point in all of his dramas I watched about him that I remember his character was always ambitious and he never had a sufferings because he's a victim of a cruel fate but I'm not saying they are all uninteresting dramas because I liked all of his dramas I ever watched but it's just a statement of how I remember him always being a character with some ambition and hidden agenda and never completely sincere and at some point victim of fate that he has done nothing to deserve a punishment or that he suffers from something in 1 of his dramas that is not self inflict

He is acting expressive character but it's always ambitious and never like actually without ambitions standing on his way that's what I meant even if he isn't evil he is still cold

This drama is cool set up and I like how FL looks but ML Liu Xue Yi is way to heartless but a bit pulls onto love side but still heartless a lot and he is always like that in every single of his dramas I ever watched... it's like he don't even want to release any drama where he is any more interesting and strong but pitiful character who has issues that are more likable than just being cruel cold blooded ambitious character and not a kind character that is actually interesting to watch...the more he act restricted and stiff and cold to female lead character the less I like to watch but I hope it's not the entire serie like that but I already hope it's from 8th episode onward sort of interesting because its very similar to "Immortal Samsara" and a bit similar to "love of the divine tree" but I will keep watching regardless of a low review
