Thanks! I found his site. I'm really fond of his works representing the elements, particularly earth.

I would love this if it wasn't episodic.
Just to confirm, i took a look at the ratings as reported by Tokyohive (http://www.tokyohive.com/2012/09/drama-prime-time-report-09140917/). Episode 2 tied with epsodes 6 (my least favorite episode of the season) for the lowest viewership.

I agree. This had a lot of potential at first. I think it really started to lose steam around episode 3. I like dramas that are episodic, but the problem with this drama was that the episodes began to be uninspired. They were too predictable. My guess is that they didn't get the ratings they wanted and changed the direction of the show. The first two episodes were considerably darker, and better, than the subsequent ones.

ugh, the japanese characters don't work on profiles. (1) was the garlic/aho/baka part and (2) was the "suggoi hayai" part hehe.

lol that was funny. My favorite parts: (1) ???????????????????????????????????and (2)??????????????????????????Is that a what a spanish accent sounds like in japanese? Maybe it's his own special accent hehe.

As for my name, you can call me whatever you want as long as it's not prohibited by the MDL rules :) Most people just call me Kawaiko or Kawai. And I'm from the USA.

Oh, and from your "Plan to Watch" (PTW) list, i recommend Kurosagi, LIAR GAME, and Orthros no Inu. Risou no Musuko is good if you want to relax and watch something fun :)

I loved this song from Hana Kimi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fF3csWjlRUQ and this song from Proposal Daisakusen:…
Very fun article! When I saw Proposal Daisakusen on the list i thought it would be the MONGOL800 song hehe. Also, did Ai Otsuka have another song in a drama: Happy Days (http://www.wat.tv/video/pv-ai-otsuka-happy-days-mhzf_2fgu7_.html)? I can't remember which drama it was though :/

Hiii~ It's been a while :) I saw Hungry, Ataru, and Risou no Musuko. I liked all three (even recommended Risou no Musuko to someone two days ago and Ataru about a month ago), but nothing made me constantly check to see if a new episode has been released. I just finished Ghost Mama Sousasen and that was really cute if you like family dramas. It's not all bad though. I've had a chance to discover much older dramas. Still feeding my addiction, hehehe. How have you been?

Yea, hehe i realize it's not like the old one (MDL is always raising the bar :)), but it fills a similar place in my heart. The reason why I loved the original Flavor of the Week is because i felt like it was an organized and focused look into the contributors' hearts. I think it helped the site tell a story. Even though the forums and the lists are full of all of our valued personal thoughts/opinions, the feature on the home page draws our attention to a single voice for just a moment. We have so many great, active people here. the content is really good. But now, instead of being hit by a wall of information, a user gradually floats into the experience. This feature changes the way users experience your site. and i like :)

I was watching this drama and thought, "I wish I was in Japan so I could try all these places," but then I realized you're planning your trip and asked for restaurant suggestions. Maybe you could take a look at this:

http://mydramalist.com/japanese-drama/4164/kodoku-no-gurume

Each episode features the food of a real restaurant!

I liked it, but I'll be happy when either Gouriki Ayame learns how to act or people stop casting her, lol.

something went wrong about 3/4ths of the way through, and this became extremely unbelievable lol. On the bright side, Matsushita Nao's English pronunciation was really good (even better than one of the "American" soldiers in the first night).
