Unfortunately, the question isn't whether Viki is simply "profitable" or making a "decent" amount of money. In the corporate world, it's all about whether they are making the most money they possibly can. If people are willing to pay a subscription fee and sit through commercials, then that's what they'll do. They don't care whether it degrades the integrity of the programming or they lose their current customers. They only care about getting a return on their investment and are happy as long as the amount of new revenue justifies the acquisition (by diversifying their revenue streams or getting more viewers than they would lose because of the change).

I kinda want to know why the narrator wrote this letter/is telling this story. It makes me wonder what happened after the drama ended. Were they separated somehow? Did they grow old and just before they were about to die, he wanted to get all of this off his chest? So many questions. Need a season 2! hehehe.

This year is ending on a high note! I'm watching Yuusha 2 and Ooku. I'm holding off on Priceless until all the episodes are out because it seems like the perfect marathon drama. I'm glad you said you loved it because that totally keeps it at the top of my list. What's your number one for 2012?

She's def one of my faves :) She's a great actress and has perfect comedic timing. I also like the fact that she looks so cute and styled. Many of the plus-sized japanese female actresses put themselves down by making jokes about being ugly. She's cute and she knows it! :)

this was on my PTW list for forever and I finally got a chance to watch it. I really liked it, but I stopped feeling sorry for Risa. Her brother was twisted, true, but at some point she needs to learn how to establish boundaries or cut him off.
