I loved the ending, but their mother annoys me with how she's always going back and forth. It felt like she was just playing around instead of thinking about the children.
I just started watching this drama, but the second scene in the first episode is so ridiculous, I'm worried about the rest of the series. Is this just a romanticized view of wine or do people in Japan really not know about decanters?

When are you gonna answer the 100 dogs/1 human question? You're such a tease. You go in, stir things up with questions and leave. :-p

you went to a pretentious liberal arts college? i wonder if we went to the same one, lol. no wonder your posts make so much sense to me :-p
lol, totally agree, Arcene. Also, Karina has a movie where she's a #1 hostess named Misaki in a club that looks exactly like the one in this drama (I wish I remembered the name). I'm convinced they filmed this drama just to get two shows out of one production budget, hehe.
I really like this drama, but it left me with a lot of questions about Japanese society:
1) Is family planning information or contraception available?
2) Is it legal to fire/not hire someone just because they're pregnant?
3) Is Tokyo a place where 6 yr olds can wander alone?
Very diff than the USA.

hihi :) nothing much, just trying to catch up on Inu o Kau to Iu Koto. I <3 Junno, hehehe. How are you?
I wonder how Matsumoto Jun felt about playing the main character. A main subject in this drama is racial discrimination. Matsumoto darkened his own complexion significantly for the role. I would love to hear if the darker skin made him feel different or if people treated him any differently.

Hiii :) you're more than welcome. How have you enjoyed it so far? Making your list is fun, isn't it?
Even though Giragira and TEIOH are both about the nightlife industry, I think they're very different. Giragira was way over the top and unrealistic, but it didn't take itself seriously, like everyone was in on the joke. TEIOH was just as unrealistic, but it often felt like it was trying too hard.
This is a charming, light drama. There isn't a lot of suspense, and the love story line isn't too heavy. It's a nice escape if you are looking for a laugh.
She's gorgeous and has such a cool vibe, as opposed to the kawaii vibe many actresses and idols her age go for. And nobody can forget her cool weaponry skills in Kill Bill :)
