i think it was explained by the queen. normally in historical dramas, we see cps and kings have more than one woman but once they sleep with them they are considered a concubine. they get a rank. so it's "respectful" for the true wife, in this case crown princess. but meeting a woman outside of the palace and not bringing her to the palace is the immorality here as i understand.

I'm guessing one of her art work. Or maybe if she has ki**ed before she had a body?? U know those psychos sometimes store them

they did a good job in portraying the aftermath of the war. it's cruel, heart-breaking and one can never imagine that pain.
but i don't think i can bear to watch this happen... i'm too immersed in this drama

my explanation was sad yet beautiful. but somehow, " traumatic yet its peaceful" explains it much better.
and yes, as i feel it, they were never in that desire/ romance stage. i don't know how to say it but their bond is spiritual and intimate. or as the ost says, "still we don't know love, but i feel loved when i'm with you"

it's great. i'm glad i picked it up and at the same time i don't know why i had to pick this drama. It is emotional and personally, i feel like i'm experiencing them myself. i always get a second to break out of that trance at the end of an episode.
the story is great, side characters have a good character growth but i hope main characters can have that growth a little more and heal. all actors have incredible chemistry and they deliver so well.
also depiction of war is... well, it's war. nothing good about it. you cry throughout those scenes.
drama also have light and funny moments so it's not all tears.
anyway it's best if you can try and decide.

and i almost cried in ep 2 seeing the crown prince and princesses. it's so sad. i hope they will hv their happy ending

but who's prince hwang in the cast? maybe he's her son?? or not?
i'm glad her daughter is not like her and actually a sister to hwa ri.

as most of you here, i love this drama so so much. BUT i want them to be totally honest with each other. You are in a frkng relationship. if you cannot rely on other during hard times, what's the point.
only lovey dovey and good times are share?! r u kidding me? is life all sunshine and rainbows?
they need to grow in that area if not, this will be a sad ending.
in my opinion, ppl need to understand that it's ok to be vulnerable. it's ok to break down. you can just get back up again when you can. if you keep it in you collapse.

I like them building their own guest house in their own terms.
but this was too long. if they wrapped up the drama with maybe 12 episodes, it wouldn't hv been boring towards the end. it could've been more.

i am so glad i picked up this series. it's so beautiful. hopefully this will have a happy ending. i'm not ready for a sad ending for these characters.

i'm in love with how this show is so mature and managed to keep that cozy and lovey dovey vibe along with it. and actors are doing a great job too. All of them are doing justice for theri roles, although not much of a surprise, considering the cast
