agree! so much action from episode 1 that kept me entertained (and annoyed) and scared.

I dropped TFF it was too slow and boring for me

yup whilst I was so frustrated with Zhou Wan and wanted to protect Lu Xi Xiao at all costs, I understood her and why she did those things. How she told Ping Ge at Ep 26 that she loved him too much (makes me remember Jin Zhou from S&L). She was 18 and understandable, I hated it but it gave us the most dramatic heartbreaking scene that lingers.

i loved Never Ending Summer so much but dropped both TFF (ep 12) and L&P (ep 15). I tried so many times but just couldn't. TFF's female lead was too bland and weak, I understand her backstory but I just couldn't get into it. L&P I tried so many times but got bored. Others on my top 10 modern Cdramas are Speed and Love, Hidden Love, You are My Glory and Road to Success.

Your review is spot on. Watching season 2 was so heartbreaking for me. I did a marathon of S1 and S2 so I had a hard time processing the change of actress and whatever reason they came up with Bu Yeon / Naksu inhabiting 1 body. I also didn't like the broody Jang Uk, great acting but was tiring to watch. GYJ was meh and I didn't feel any chemistry. She looked better as Naksu in S1. I tried to rationalize S2 saying this is the real Naksu, her real face and her real self, but I missed Mudeok so much and hoped JSM would appear.

It was a great S1 until that shocking ep 20 that S2 failed to redeem.

I was not convinced with the last conflict that all of them wanted the ice stone and following Jin Mu?!

P.S. Loved the Crown Prince and his deep voice.

It's my 3rd time rewatching all their scenes from start to end. I cannot move on. I like the cute scenes but I love the revelation scenes even more, which they always tied up nicely with the flashbacks. It's so so good and I don't know how I can move on!!
