I feel like if you loved Oh My Ghost Clients, you’d love this series too. Not a single scene was a waste. JKH has gotten so good with these law related series.
I just finished watching and honestly… it started so well, but somewhere along the line it lost its spark. I loved the storyline at first, but it got dragged out and slow. The chemistry between the ML and FL never really landed for me, and without suspense, tension, or excitement, the whole thing just felt flat. And the ex plus his entire family getting way too much screen time? So unnecessary and honestly annoying to watch. It breaks my heart because I expected so much more, it ended up being a shallow love story when it could have been really beautiful.
I’d love to join a real life SF club, if it existed. This drama made me realize that I can actually watch a drama without getting bored, it’s been so long since I watched a perfect drama. Also, I love the character development of the casts. 10000/10
I absolutely love this drama. Easy, soft and cheesy. Nothing dramatic, a breath of fresh air amidst all the dark dramas being released lately. Such a comfort watch.
can you maybe explain to me the last Sequenz in the desert with the necklace ? was it dream ? I don’t get why…
Exactly!! 😭😭 That’s what makes it so confusing! The whole rain scene was literally him saying he’d always be there for her, and then suddenly he’s in the desert acting like they never promised each other forever?? It just doesn’t add up 😩 I honestly feel like the desert scene was symbolic like his mind’s way of finding closure, not something that literally happened. Because if it was real, then yeah, I’d be mad too 😭🤣
can you maybe explain to me the last Sequenz in the desert with the necklace ? was it dream ? I don’t get why…
Yess exactly 😭 and that scene before the ship blew up when the gate he locked suddenly appeared open, I’m convinced that was the writers hinting he actually made it out. He’s definitely alive. I think he stayed away not because he stopped loving her, but because of all the charges and chaos surrounding him. After everything he’d been through, he probably just wanted peace and didn’t want to ruin her chance at one. Still, it breaks my heart that they couldn’t reunite 😭💔

That part confused me too at first! 😭 I think the desert scene was symbolic, burying the necklace felt like him letting go of the past and finally finding peace after everything. It didn’t necessarily mean he stopped loving her, more like he accepted that their paths couldn’t cross again. Still, I get you, it definitely left a bittersweet feeling!
I just finished watching this drama and I’m blown away! I’m so glad I waited till it was completed before watching all 9 episodes, it was nothing short of a masterpiece! The actors killed their roles like rent was due!
At first, I wasn’t feeling the chemistry between Ambassador Minju and Sanho, but they grew on me, and I ended up absolutely rooting for them. The plot twist? Insane! I never saw Madam Im Okseon being the villain coming.
The storyline was impeccable — swift, direct, and strong. Not a single scene was wasted. And the ending? Beautiful. I dare to say I want more, but I truly think that was a befitting conclusion. Tempest was a cinematic delight to the eyes.
I get why you're disappointed. The ending definitely didn't go the way most people expected, including myself.…
You actually explained it so well 👏🏽 I get your point about the villains showing how corruption works in real life and how even good leaders can lose to politics. That banquet scene was definitely emotional, I felt that too. For me though, the execution still dragged a bit and overshadowed the parts I was hoping to see more of, like the romance and deeper character growth. But I really enjoyed hearing your perspective on it, thank you for sharing!
His history was not changed but his fate was that's the point, in the story we all know the villain he didn't,…
Aww thank you 🤗 I really enjoyed hearing your perspective too! You made some valid points especially about the war scenes. It’s nice discussing dramas like this, even when we see things differently.

I see what you mean and you’re right, the drama leaned more into survival and history than romance. I just personally felt the villains dragged things out too much and the romance could’ve been explored a little deeper, even if it wasn’t the main theme. The leads had scenes together, yes, but for me it didn’t translate into strong romantic chemistry. Guess it really comes down to expectations vs. what the drama intended.
Just finished watching and I'm honestly disappointed. The treason and fighting scenes dragged on unnecessarily. The villains had way too much power, and when they finally died, it wasn't even satisfying.
The King didn't deserve to be called a tyrant, yet he was dethroned and exiled. That twist just felt unfair and underwhelming.
And while I'm glad the King and Royal Chef met in the future, it wasn't enough to make up for how wasted the potential of this drama was. Their romance just isn't deep enough. They barely got screen time together, which makes it hard to connect with their love story.
Overall, this show promised so much, food, romance, politics but ended up leaving me hungry for something better.
