Did we watch different dramas? I found ep 2 fabulous, quick paced and well written. Hyeyoon was hilarious as a petty, frivolous gumiho Eunho but you can see the cracks of someone who is very lonely. Heyyoon voice and diction is so clear that even someone like me who has just learning korean can understand her. Loman and the supporting leads esp the villan were very good too Yes the CGI is lacking but i have seen way worse in kdramas.
How are some of you judging the show based of 1 episode. It really feels like you all hate the leads n have made up your mind to bring this show down. Please think of the effort n work that goes into making a drama and how your hate comment.s affect their hardwork
Watched the first ep, twice to give an unbiased opinion. The story is fast paced and unfolds quickly. Charecters are interesting. It did nkt drag and gave us a quick look at gumiho's backstory. The oillar is Hyeyoon as Eunho, a narcissistic yet lonely Gumiho hell bent to stay human even if it involves doing bad deeds. Hyeyoon is perfection in the role. She totally sheds her previous loveable charecters to embody Eunho. Her tone,mannerism , diction and micro expressions are perfection! Loman ably plays Siyeol, he has a lovely voice n am sure we will get to see his acting grow as the story unfolds. Ep 2 looks even more fun. I will be watching and do recommend the show

Mnotonous is the last word you could possible use for an actress like hyeyoon. Her tone, diction n micro expressions is actjng masterclass n why she has won all thise major awards. But ofcourse, you do you!

This is such an unserious and funny show. For NIS agents, they sure are clueless🤣 Seo kang joon and Jin Ki Joon are spot on with their acting and have great chemistry.

You obviously took offence to what I wrote, it is a personal opinion. I know what IU is capable of. If you think she was brilliant as Aesun, good for you, for me, personally, I am looking forward to IU as the daughter as i think she will kill it. As I said "A personal opinion", which everyone is entitled to have. I am a massive fan of IU but will keep this objective. The positives:The story is beautiful, cinematography amazing. Bogum is on his way to bag all the awards and IU hits the emotional notes well, the first 4 episodes has less Moon sori, but when she appears, she is perfection. Now things I did not enjoy I watched at x1.5 speed a few times as there are way more charecters than I think necessary, some shouting n screaming n crying that was not necessary, I love quiet emotions n BoGum nails it. Also unfortunatly IU n Bogum scream best friends rather than love interest's. IU is an amazing actress, but her Aesun reminds me of Jung man wol a little too much. Hoping that changes as more episodes drop. I was a little bored at times and think the editing could be crisper. Overall the first 4 eps were good ( not great) for me. Looking forward to the next 4.
