A 9.5/10 horror. Loved the ensemble cast in this genre
I love Horror genre.This is a SERIOUS HORROR.
May not contain Jump Scares but is truly SCARY PSYCHOLOGICALLY.
The Vibe is DARK n gives CHILLS.
Will truly feel "The Ghost in the air, everywhere" sort of scary vibe, haha
It is not some easy-going Ghost story or the usual light horror trope, where there's a ghost possessing someone related to the protagonist n the protagonist with some help, wards it off easily.
***** CHARACTERS:
Here, Though the Protagonists are not the family members of the Possessed, they really struggle hard to save the person, risking their own lives.
The STRUGGLE involved, everyone DESPERATE to SAVE is TIRING.
At some point, the characters may be left with no clue or no way to Save or Survive, all remain Helpless! :(
LOVED the TEAM WORK n Hard Work of all the characters!
Constantly, Keeps one on the Edge of one's Seat while watching them struggling hard n running around desparately to ward off the evil spirits
And creates a NAIL BITING Tension n Suspense, doubting how they will Save n Survive! :o
Haha, that Evil Spirit is a dirty one, not only insults with mind-twisting words to manipulate the minds, also tries to weaken the person whoever interacts with it :/

Well Directed and well Acted by everyone.
CINEMATOGRAPHY is AMAZING.
This reminds me of the famous serious horrors that are psychological scary horrors, where Protagonists Struggle a lot to Save the Possessed, like
"The Exorcist" or few James Wan's horror movies ("Conjuring", "Insidious")
or Korean horrors "The Priests", "The Wailing"
or Thai horror anthology series "Angkhan Khlumpong" (all stories in this are serious n scary) etc.

Loved to watch the ENSEMBLE CAST in this genre.
(All my fav actors n actress :) )
Choi Min Shik never disappoints in delivering a good quality acting performance, whether it's a dark role or a psychopathic or a Serious Saviour like here :)
BTW, He in psychopathic roles, Scares Me!! 🤭
But Loved him here :)
U can feel a bit of relief, when U see him around, especially in scary or serious helpless situations here.
Kim Go Eun is as usual pretty n acted her role well.
It is so refreshing to see her in a Shaman role, performing the ritual n reciting all those ritual prose / songs / chants / prayers.
Lee Do Hyun is so handsome with that hair bun n tattoos, giving a Bad Boy Vibe! 😏
Kim Jae Chul is handsome ;)
CHASING AWAY an EVIL SPIRIT is TIRING for the Famous Actors too (Joking!! the Hype) 😂

GOOD CRIME THRILLER, Lovely Duo!
Good Crime Thriller dealing old unsolved / Cold cases.Around One CASE per EPISODE and each case is interesting.
INITIALLY a bit ODD and WEIRD, whether it be the Plot or the Acting, odd to the extent that some may find it DIFFICULT to CONTINUE WATCHING.
But DON'T DROP IT (can watch it once)
Believe me, as the episodes progress, it gets very INTERESTING, clarifying all the weirdness n suspense created in initial episodes.
The Story of Main "Okura" department along with the stories of the cold cases, is slowly built.
I LOVED the DUO, Senju n Toshiki as partners in investigation :)
Both the actors are handsome, haha.
Their Bromance is cool.
I want more of them :)
Finally in the end, Our Cold lil Prince, Toshiki learnt EMPATHY bcz of our Crazy Cool Kind Knight, Senju san! :)
Initially Senju looks silly but in later eps, u can see the variation in him, who is actually after something big but just acts goofy initially. That suspense is WELL WRITTEN.
The complicated intertwining of all the cases that they solve with a lot of TWISTS where the most unexpected people turn out to be something else, everything is WELL WRITTEN.
But there should be SOME MORE EXPLANATIONS to all the crimes happening, about the organisation, about the actual "OKURA" from a bigger picture.
And so in the end, there's potential for a SEQUEL.
There should be ONE to explain a lot of things that are left out.

This Crime Drama deals Cold Cases or Unsolved Murders From The Past.
Two Male Main Leads are Police Officers - Older and Younger partners with light Bromance.
Older is Cool n Social, while younger is Cold n Not Social.
One uses intelligence n the other uses physical strength.
One is serious n the other is silly, haha.
One of the Main Leads is suspected at some point, can't really tell whether he is good or evil in some episodes. And so as the story progresses, impressions on that character, keep changing.
In the end, younger one learns empathy in the company of older.
Older one is suspected to be a murderer of his ex partner in investigation.
There's a Surprise Twist in the end - an unexpected character turns bad.
My RATING is 8.5 / 10.
One Time Watch!
Hope there is a S2 soon, to give a proper closure to this story.

I'M DECEIVED! Haha, Is this a Thriller or a Social Drama? But sure, It's a Test to our Patience ! :(
Oops, The Title, the Cover Photo and the Thriller Tag misled me :|The Cover photo really has a Spooky Horror or Dark Crime Thriller Vibe and Words like REMOTE, VILLAGE etc in the title & summary made me to EXPECT AN INTERESTING THRILLER n curious to know what happened in the village, haha
God! I'm deceived n disappointed !! :)
IT'S MORE OF A DRAMA THAN A THRILLER.
It's more about what happened in a guy's life than what happened in the village.

Dropped it twice n finally completed this in my 3rd try-out, it is that SLOTH PACED! It's really a test to my patience!
(Couldn't drop bcz of my "Watching Tradition" of not to drop any drama /movie, once I start watching, Silly Me! ;)
n for Ryusei, pushed myself to give another try :)
BTW, KDrama Crime Thriller "Doubt" made me to sign up for MDL to rant about its slow pacing.
Now I find it better than this (in terms of pacing, not a comparison of genre or plot), atleast it has interesting thriller elements but here it's just social drama + sloth paced.
God, this would be the end of me by the time, I finish watching this movie🫣)
***** STORY:
Enough of my ranting about pacing :) , Now, about the other elements in the movie:
The storyline is OK.
It's a story of a depressed guy stuck in a village with a stagnant life n how his routine job in a waste dumping facility and his respect in the society bcz of a criminal in the family, affect him and how he tries to change himself with the help of his childhood sweetheart.
The Run Time is too lengthy for this plot & for this slow story progression.
The thriller part is only for few minutes towards the end of the movie, which U can predict very easily, it's obvious whose body is that n who would have murdered.
So, it's just Drama with almost zero thriller elements.
***** POSITIVES:
Ryusei's Character n his STELLAR Performance is the ONLY ONE INTERESTING point that kept me watching this boring tale.
His PERFORMANCE is VERY IMPRESSIVE,
initially as an extremely frustrated with life, helpless n depressed soul and
Later, as a lively, happy & confident person, knowing that there is one person (FL) who loves n supports him and all such changes, Love & Hope have brought in him.
He acted these variations of the emotions in his expressions, VERY WELL.
Special Mention ;) :
Ryusei with facial hair and that messy hairstyle, looks totally like a different person.
I didn't recognise him in the Cover Photo, until I saw the cast list :)
And with clean shave n combed hair, looks like a young handsome hunk :)
When he smiled, he reminded me of
actor Tatsunari Kimura :)

Throughout the movie, there is just a GLOOMY Vibe but Not any Suspense or anything Mysterious, as expected from a Thriller.
Even about the waste dumping facility, I don't find any Mystery around it.
U can guess that there is some ILLEGAL dumping happening at night that affects the environment n resources of the village, when U see a group of persons working in the night secretly, out of working hours.
(If there are murders n bodies dumped there, it would have been done by 1-2 persons, not a big team, right? )
And so, murder mystery by gangsters is ruled out n there is no suspense & mystery Expected from illegal dumping :|
As said above, found one body in police investigations of illegal dumping, it can be predicted n so No mystery, there too.

Also, There are some UNCLEAR points left without explanations.
For eg, THE ENDING:
What happened to FL's case n the police investigation?
Did ML's dad really commit a crime in the past?
Or like the mayor said in the climax about sacrificing people (for his own selfish sake) but in the name of village's development, did the mayor have a direct role in his dad's death, who is innocent, falsely accused n being disrespected as a criminal all these years?

Also in the end, is the ML, back to his former depressed state?
Bcz his Hair style is messy & down, tears in his eyes n doesn't look into the eye of his police friend, in the climax scene, like how he used to be in the beginning.
When he is lively n happy, he has his hair neatly combed & when depressed, has his hair down with a Messy bedhead hair style.
So, the ML has no peace in life, finally!? :O , What? :)

Finally, I'm not sure of
what I have watched 😂 or
what the director n story writers want to convey through this story or
what story elements or plot points, I have to take as implied / implicit, without direct explanations in the scenes :o

I'm RATING this as 7 / 10,
just for Ryusei's Performance as a depressed man trying to find a motive to live and
for the Direction, Cinematography, Locations and the BGM which are AMAZING!
(These are the ONLY POSITIVES that I found in this)
Else it would be 5.5 or 6.
Pacing, Story Narration and Story Progression have completely gone WRONG.
If the Pacing and the Run Time are Right, this would be 8 or 8.5 .

The "Fiery Priest" is on Fire while in Action! (BGM music starts, haha) Mindless Fun Ride!!

I watched this Only for Nam gil n even writing a review Only bcz of him :)
Just BE AWARE that this has Zero gripping /thought provoking plot, Zero to Little mystery but just a mediocre comedy, little exaggerated reactions and overacting for comedic purposes.
It's just the usual formula of 1 Hero, 1 Villain n a Fight between them. Hero saving good people with a touch of murder of his close ones n so on a Revenge & Justice seeking journey with the help of a team of comedy characters.
Can be watched for your favourite actors n to pass the time mindlessly without any toxic storylines. Just a Light Drama.
A mix of action + comedy + crime
Nam Gil Admirers will Love to watch him in Action! :)
Though the drama is mediocre, ABSOLUTELY LOVED Nam Gil's Sarcastic n Bold Character
The only little mystery here is about Who the exact killer is, of senior father from the bad guys team.
This suspense is maintained till the end.

Love Nam Gil's character a lot - The Fiery, the Bold, the Sarcastic but Kind Hearted :)
But very short tempered and that generates the comedy😂
Nam Gil is so handsome with his sarcastic Smirks, haha
Nam Gil's role, truly a "Fiery" Priest!
His character is the ONLY Pillar to this story, the ONLY Attraction in this drama!!
I love his evil sarcastic smirks given to bad guys.
If he gives one, it means that he is about kick someone and the music (that BGM) starts! :)
Whenever there is any injustice around him, the Savage Angry Beast inside this NIS agent turned Priest, awakens n the comedy follows while he is punishing the bad or fighting for the justice.
His Fight sequences are VERY GOOD
Would love to watch the same character of Nam gil with the same personality n not being a Priest, with romance or bromance, in a Crime Action Comedy or a Crime Thriller
(The thought itself is so interesting! :o )

Kim Sung Kyun's role is the funniest, his comedic facial expressions are pure fun to watch!
His Bickering with the Priest is the funniest .

Lee Ha Nee's character is Good for a comedy genre but a bit exaggerated reactions and expressions, little hyper active .
Maybe, such a hyper active bold female character is demanded by the story in the team not only for some action but also for comedy .
Since ML is a priest, shouldn't expect Romance .
But ML n FL's bromance (😂) / friendship is good.
Their bickering initially is funny but as the story progresses, formed a close friendly bond to kick the bad guys as a team!
It's like Two devils in action! :)
(No offense meant for devil / priest terms, meant Good kind hearted devils )
(Here in S1,
there are few moments of mild romance between ML n FL but then, they themselves take back their hidden flirty dialogues , since he is a priest
This generates the mindless comedy.
Also For comedy purposes, in 1-2 episodes:
U can find little Bromance of our priest with the small priest (Jeon Sung woo's role).
Also U can see the police gal (Geum Sae Rok's role) fangirling over the priest )

The other characters, the helping team of the priest are good n funny.

ONLY THESE CHARACTERS ARE MORE INTERESTING out of all other characters.

S1 is better than S2 since it's the same story formula but
S1 n S2 have their own charms, even though it's the same story formula.

The variations in his roles in these two dramas are Amazing, SURPRISED ME alot.
There, as a Cold Introvert person, who never talks (dark vibes surrounding him n so brooding)
Here, as a fiery n yet funny n lively person, who never stops talking n smiling, punishing the bad guys and giving evil smirks to them, haha
There, I always wanted him to smile or speak out,
Here, am surprised to see him talking non-stop 😂
He just slayed both the roles though they are extremes in nature n in personality.
Anyways,
Introvert analysing criminals (Through the Darkness) to
A Fiery smiley (comedic in The Fiery Priest) to
An Emotional One side lover / stalker (in another drama),
U can clearly see the differences in each of his roles n in his acting.
He is a PROLIFIC actor!
And so the Saga of me, watching every drama of his, Started
If he is in a project, I'm in! :)

Horror Comedy with a touch of unexpected "FOREVER"!!
***SPOILER***I love horror genre.
Comedy in a Haunted House is routine (here, it's funny enough, not Hilarious)
But Falling in Love with a Ghost, is something Different!
(n Me, still continuing watching even after reaching that "Different" point in the story, knowing that it will End Bad, is ... just No words for me! 🤭)
Since it's Fiction, There was a hope for a Happy ending, as anything n everything is possible in Fiction
but hmm, the ENDING here is REALISTIC!
I watched this with an expectation of Only Horror + Comedy.
I expected a Sad ending for the couple since Human - Ghost love stories are impossible!
Forbidden love!
But OmG, I didn't expect the Actual Ending n truly SURPRISED - his "true efforts" to see her face daily for the rest of his life .
Such a beautiful moment in the forbidden love story, that Effort of his truly mean "FOREVER"!!
(U need to watch the movie to know what those True efforts are, am not going to spill that thrill, that I felt :) )
I liked the love story part more than the horror or comedy.
One time watch.
Pleasant, easy-going, light horror (more emotional at the end).
Came here for Actor Gee, after watching his "Terror Tuesday: Extreme".
FL is such a pretty baby doll.
Try how much ever but can't imagine her to be Scary! :)

Horror / Supernatural + Historic -- Wonderful Combo !!As a fan of Horror, Supernatural n Historical genres, I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DRAMA.

The Story is VERY INTERESTING from ep 1 itself.
No Moment of Boredom n No Repetitive content throughout the drama.
Pacing is Apt n Well Maintained.
Cinematography is Awesome.
Direction, Plot, Story Narration, Production, EVERYTHING IS GOOD & RIGHT IN EVERY CATEGORY.
The Horror, Supernatural & Historic elements -- Everything is Right to the Point n is in Right Proportions!
BGM n OST are Good.
The Suspense n Mystery of who the haunting spirit is n who the bad guys are n the Back story of the haunting spirit, are Well Written.
(Initially, suspected every character to be bad n to be helping the spirit, haha)
The scenes of confronting the haunting spirits are directed well.
The suspense n horror effects in these scenes are right to the point.
*** CHARACTERS & ACTORS:
Watched this for the Main lead actors (Kim Ji Hoon, Kim Young Kwang n Sung Jae) but fell in love with FL character n the actress Bo Na :)
Her acting is apt to her role.
The Trio - King, Imugi n Yeo Ri is the BEST n are FUN to watch :)
Bromance of King n Imugi is very Sweet.
Young Kwang as Imugi is very funny n even Sung Jae did well as Imugi.
Love triangle is good for a change, haha (Usually, I don't like love triangles)
Special Mention: Jihoon acted very well in emotional scenes, u can see his pain in his eyes (pain for his family n for the people in his kingdom as a King).
*** ENDING & RATING :
This drama got a Satisfied Ending n a good closure to this story.
Eps 11 to 13 are a bit slow n so My Rating is 9.5,
else could be 10 / 10!

A 9.5 / 10 POLICE CRIME DRAMA! A TRUE BROMANCE !! :)
As a lover of Crime Thrillers, LOVED EVERYTHING about this police crime drama✨Well written and Well executed.
Every scene is interesting to watch, since it's a good blend of a Police officer duo solving criminal cases with good proportions of humour, emotional stories of how a deep bond is developed between the duo, how there is a good character arc to one of them who gets out of his trauma with the help of the other, story of the bond among the team members & good team work and finally, a thought provoking take on different crimes depicting the issues in society (like teenage drug cases, foreign migrant workers' issues etc)
The two male main leads are police officers - Partners In Investigation in a special department called Mobile Investigative Unit (MIU), which targets at solving a case within first 24 hours after the report.
This duo along with other MIU teams, work on different cases.
The cases are DIVERSE dealing with a variety of crimes & around, ONE CASE per EPISODE.
Not every case is a murder crime but depicts different crimes in the society.
Each case looks different but in the end, as the episodes progress, it's a surprise that how most of those crimes are pointed towards the villain.
The Team Work among different teams is well depicted.
Direction, Acting, Plot, Story Progression & Story Narration are Good.
The Storyline and Story writing of the cases n that of main leads, are Good (to be honest, could be better at times).
How some of the cases are related to the villain n how the duo stops him, is well written.
First half of ep 1 looks little weird n slow but maybe that is to form the base of the characters but by the end of that episode, gets interesting n remaining episodes are fun to watch with the boys in action!
*** CHARACTERS & ACTORS:
Both Main Leads' characters are impressive in their own ways and have different styles of reacting to a crime n acting on it, to bring justice to every victim in a case.
Ayano's character, Ibuki is very funny, empathizes with the victims & it's hilarious watching him cry along with them, Silly Ibuki! haha.
Hoshino's character, Shima looks stoic but is Cool.
One (Shima) uses Intelligence n the other (Ibuki) uses Physical Strength.
One (Shima) is Serious n the other (Ibuki) is Silly, haha.
Shima has trust issues while Ibuki trusts anyone easily.
Ibuki is like a goofy pup (haha), very emotional and very warm & pure at heart.
Looks messy and reckless but good at work.
Shima is good, mature and intelligent at work but is serious n lil grumpy bcz of the trust issues.
Initially, Shima didn't like the reckless Ibuki but he started liking his company, seeing his dedication towards work.
Ibuki, right from the moment, they are assigned as partners, tries different ways to be close to Shima, which are very funny ;)
The bromance is cool and sweet.
Initially, Shima hates the silliness of Ibuki but the way their bond is developed over each case in each episode, is Sweet!
Each of them goes to any extent to save their partner in investigation, such is the bond formed, a True Bromance! :)
The way they tease each other about their girl crushes, is very funny.
Shima is suspected to be the reason for the death of his ex partner in investigation.
The way how Ibuki takes that extra effort which is not asked for but takes as a friend, to solve that ex officer's death case thereby to save Shima from his trauma, is impressive and heart warming :)
Very fun to watch Ibuki n Shima at work as Partners! :)
Overall, I love their Dynamics -- Sweet n Funny! :)
Actors Ayano and Hoshino have made these charcaters Ibuki and Shima, more Lively and Lovely! :)
Their female boss and the other team members are cool.
I love the character dynamics among the teams -- very funny at times, haha
The villain looks soft but an evil mastermind behind many crimes, that actor's performance is Good.
All characters are well written.
Not just the main lead duo, villain n the supporting characters, even the plot of each case is well written.
*** EPISODES & CASES :
11 episodes with different crimes each episode and Pacing is Right.
Initial episodes are a bit dull since the plot of the crimes is simple & plain and also felt rushed but it gets interesting with the other cases, as episodes progress.
Each ep, a different case -- initial cases are related to small crimes n only the cases in later eps got serious.
For the cases till ep 4, they look rushed to be solved n closed without clarity or elaborate details but by the end of each ep, for each case how it is solved or the commentary of the writer/director about the issue in that case, is well done.
Some cases are not criminal cases, they are just societal issues which need police to take an action n so the take on these problems in the society, the sad reality, on everything, the writers' thoughts are well discussed through the characters.
Ep 5:
This one is sad, maybe the dark side of their country -- the issue of foreign migrant workers and their troubles.
Ep 6:
In other police units /departments, Shima is defamed of being a murderer of his ex partner in investigation and so he got an emotional trauma & trust issues, out of that guilt.
So Ibuki tried hard to solve that partner's death case to relieve Shima out of guilt & trauma.
I love their Friendship! :)
(Here at times, it's funny -- Ibuki just says "Eh eh eh" and nothing else, to make Shima start a conversation and Shima in return says "Eh eh" but not an actual conversation, Silly them! haha.
BTW, I do the same with my mom n she scolds me n so found that silly scene, hilarious :) )
Ep 8:
Ibuki's senior who is admired alot by Ibuki, gets involved in a murder case which affects Ibuki very bad, emotionally.
Then, Shima really supports Ibuki so well that it helps Ibuki to recover.
I love their Bond! :)
Ep 10 and Finale (11):
Their friendship, that bond, their sacrifices to save each other n so a temporary break of the duo n each working independently bcz of being manipulated /blackmailed by the villain and finally capturing him by the duo, all are written well n emotional.
There are some funny scenes too here.
There are Two scenarios, two Endings -- one sad n another a happy one.
(Just watch, am not going to spoil it here ;) )

It's "TIAN'S SECRET", not "TO SIR, WITH LOVE"! Haha. A 9.5 / 10 drama!
One of the Best Dramas!A MASTERPIECE in its genres, that is BEAUTIFULLY EXECUTED !!
A Best Mix of Historic + BL + Lakorn (Sentimental Family drama) + Thriller (Murder Mystery) + Emotional Love stories, with EVERYTHING BALANCED IN THE RIGHT PROPORTIONS!!
Note that here, both hetero n BL couples n their love stories have equal importance n so can't really categorise as a BL alone (Suitable to all audience).
Also, both couples (straight n BL) are Main Couples here n so there is no primary BL couple n secondary straight couple or vice versa.
Also, BE AWARE, this is ADDICTIVE n totally INTERESTING, haha.
If u start watching this, u can't really stop n might end up binge-watching all the episodes, just like how I did.

Though being a lakorn (a soap opera, sort of boring n exaggerated family melodramas that I usually avoid), to my surprise, THERE IS NO MOMENT OF BOREDOM throughout the drama, since this series is a beautiful blend of murder mystery thriller (of which I'm an admirer) n family drama, with a COMPELLING STORYLINE.
Every Moment of the Mystery track, is Exciting, Thrilling n Gripping.
This murder mystery has a lot of Twists n Turns, creating Nail-biting Suspense, keeping the viewers eagerly awaiting for what's next n leaving them on the edge of their seats.
While the family drama track is Very Interesting.
This anticipation of thrilling twists and gripping developments, makes the viewer binge-watch all the episodes without a break.
(I binge-watched this drama, day and night, without sleeping :) )

A Story of Fight for Power brought upon by family legacy, Familial Love and Forbidden Love.
It Deals with
1) Power Struggle among 5 families, for the succession of the ultimate control over all of their businesses and the related dirty business politics come into picture.
2) Love - familial bonds both good and bad, within the main family (main leads') and the related dirty family politics bcz of the two wives & mistress etc and
3) The struggles of Forbidden Love like Social Rejection etc.
The Story is Simple n straight forward but the TWISTS in every scene make this plot more Exciting n Fun to Watch.
Every moment is unpredictable n the viewer can't guess which character brings a twist in the next scene that changes not only the whole dynamics among the characters but also the direction of the plot progression.
(Weak hearts may get anxiety attacks for these nail-biting suspense n twists😂, Just Joking!!)
Story is Well Written as a mix of sentimental family melodrama and a murder mystery with twists n turns of endless suspense.
Familial bonds, Siblings bonds, Lovers' romances (both BL n straight), Boss-Servant bonds, Friendships, Every Relation is well written n well depicted.
The Plot is Good n kept the viewer interested every moment with No Nonsense, unlike the usual boring soap operas. There is no scene that is unnecessary or boring throughout.
Though there's an equal importance to both female n male characters, it's mostly Female-oriented story in a sense where female characters play a major role in changing the dynamics of the plot, like the usual family dramas.
And yet Different from the usual family dramas since It's not just sentimental, rather it's a mix of Action sequences, Suspense n Mystery.
Also, though there's an exclusive male villain character Ma here, Moms (Tian's n Yang's) are the actual heroes and the villains :)

Every Character is Good & Well Written. Characterisation of each character is done right.
When there's an issue, explanation or the way the character resolves it, every emotion n the story of each character is very well written.
The Casting of the Actors to their respective roles, is Right.
Every Actor performed their role very well & brought life to the character.
Each Actor did a great job, especially the Actresses as selfish mothers.
Oh My My, Silly Evil Selfish Mothers!
They don't realise that they are actually troubling their kids with their love by going to any extent.
And they are rude n selfish towards their sons n spoiling their lives, in the name of mother's love.
First Mom (Tian's) is Cold n Calm.
Second Mom (Yang's) is Loud n sometimes funny.
But both are driven by Jealousy n Selfishness to take over the control of the family and the business.
Third Mom (Bua) is Soft n Caring.
The killing ideas by Tian's mom are good.
Now scared of Mushrooms😂
Assistant of Yang's mom is loud, irritatng but damn funny at the same time :)
N that of Tian's mom is a Ninja fighter!? :o
Ma's evil villainous laugh is funny.
Tian (actor Film) n Yang (actor Tongtong) have more screen time n importance in the story than Jiu (actor Jam).
Till ep 6, character Jiu has Zero Screentime.
There are a lot of handsome guys and pretty women in this drama :)

Tian's mom n her assistant are fighters .
They did, not only bad deeds like murdering people by poisoning but also good deeds like saving the entire family, when the villain attacked .

He came to know the secrets of both his wives' n Tian's on the same day. All surprises & shocks to him! :)

17 eps with 1 hour run time per ep, is Right n Good.
Either Everyone is Eavesdropping or Chasing someone in almost every scene, haha. And So, it's a proper lakorn n a thriller!🤭
When everyone came to know the source of mushrooms, their reactions and those scenes are the funniest (bcz of the creepy source of the mushrooms ).
Ep 13 is like "100 ways to kill Jiu"
Or "Kill everyone since everyone knew Tian's secret" 🤭
Ep 15: Too much Violence n all the Secrets are out, so a lot of emotional scenes. Oh God, Crying & Tears everywhere in the entire ep!
In this chaos of family drama, business politics n power struggle, all scenes are equally stressful but I loved watching the scenes of
Tian - Yang (bros) : Beautiful,
Tian, Yang n Bua (bros n 3rd mom) : Warm,
Tian, Yang n Phin : Lovely,
Yang - Phin : Cute,
Jiu - Tian : Sweet,
Yang's mom's Maid - damn funny!
And loved when both the wives teamed up to save the family in the climax.

This drama very well depicts that:
1) Everyone and anyone can love n has the Right to be Loved (straight or BL couples)
2) "Orientation" n Talents of a person are different.
3) A person should be respected by their talents n good behaviour but not to be judged by their orientation.
4) For both the couples, concentration is on the story (love and emotions) than physical intimacy. Sometimes, Love doesn't require skinship to express or feel the love and so, I like this drama, more.
Overall, this gives homely vibes bcz of all Moms, whether
Evil, toxic, over protective, a mix of good & bad, goes to any extreme for her son (1st wife),
Greedy, selfish, loud n funny, does anything for respect n attention in the family for her son (2nd wife) &
Kind n compassionate (3rd wife).
The two couples' love stories give lovely n warm vibes.
Happy Endings to all, everyone got what they deserve and a Good Closure to the story.
OST is GOOD n BGM is apt to the scenes.

The Adventures of our Forensic Examiner Dr. Baek Beom and Prosecutor Eun Sol continues in Season 2 with more DIVERSE Cases, GRIPPING Plot for Each Case n INTERESTING Personal Storylines for each of the characters (recurring or newly introduced characters).***
A TRULY GENIUS WRITING!
Truly appreciate the Efforts n the Hard Work of Writers to include every detail in a Case to create a Suspense n a Twist in every case in an intelligent manner.
The writers should have a good knowledge of everything in terms of medical / forensic terminology, procedures n the legal points to write a case, right from the step of crime /murder, autopsy, prosecution n punishment (legal charges in the court).
The intertwining of few Cases is very well written n those cases are intertwined with the personal storylines of few characters like Doc Jang, Doc K n bad guys.
Execution of the story is Amazing n Very Well Done!
Direction, Screenplay, Editing, Story progression / Story telling, Cinematography, Production, EVERYTHING IS AMAZING here!!
Forensic Visuals of the Autopsy are AMAZING!
Pacing of each Case n that of the overall drama (personal storylines of the main characters) is Right to the Point n Good.
*** COMPARISON OF SEASONS 1 n 2:
Both the Seasons have their Own Charms✨
LOVED BOTH SEASONS!
Both are A PERFECT BLEND OF FORENSIC SCIENCE n LEGAL DRAMA!
The Differences:
1) Like in S1, if U are expecting S2 to be a Repetition of more interactions of ML (Dr. BB) n FL, more importance Only to them n Everything same as S1 but with just more cases, then U might be disappointed.
The vibe in S2 is different than that in S1.
Here, in the initial eps, ML n FL are given little less importance compared to other characters.
Here, other characters like prosecutor Do Ji Han or Doc Jang are also given equal importance.
So here, U see the stories of Do n Jang too, along with ML n FL.
In later eps, all 4 characters are given equal importance. To be honest, Dr. BB is given more importance, like in S1 .
It's good to see ML n FL are given more importance in S1 (ML with even more importance) n for a change, it's entertaining to see other characters getting importance in S2 other than FL n ML.
Not always the hero n the heroine can be the Only heroes in a story, Sometimes it's good to give a chance to other characters to be a hero too! :)
2) In S1, all cases are different n are individual crimes not related to each other.
Here in S2, 9 out of 12 cases are related or pointed towards the bad guys team during in-depth investigation.
Though these 9 cases look unrelated n individual crimes at first glance, in depth, the investigation leads to the mysterious character Doc K or the bad prosecutor or the organisation for which the bad prosecutors work.
There would be no fun if S2 is exactly same as S1, just with more cases ;)
And so this intertwining of few of the cases is introduced in S2, to include the Personal Storyline of Doc Jang.
Even this story telling is entertaining to watch, just like S1 .
3) In S1, FL n ML have more interactions ALONE. Here in S2, they have very few interactions, alone, without the team members around them.
Loved their interactions, scenes of them without any third character, in S1.
4) There are some romantic tracks added in S2 (not full length, just mild romance), unlike S1 with Zero Romance.
5) Unlike S1, which is ONLY about the criminal cases, here there's a MYSTERY SUSPENSE track related to Doc Jang that is introduced cleverly along with the cases.
Common points:
1) Like in S1, here too, Dr. BB's extensive knowledge n meticulous analysis is the Ultimate Power to solve the twists in any case.
2) Like in S1, there are funny moments here too.
The sarcastic dialogues / arrogant replies of our Grumpy Baek Beom or when the plans of the bad guys team are backfired, it generated more comedy than that in S1, VERY FUNNY!
*** CASES:
There's an one year time gap between the seasons (both in the story n in real life too , haha) n started with the last case that is left halfway in S1 - Oh Man Sang's.
The twists in this case never end, not only in S1 but also continued in S2😂
And our Dr. BB never stops to find the truth in this case, even after an year.
He runs so many tests, making his assistant Sung Ju tired n grumpy, haha.
Here, it's 2 Episodes per one Case.
1) Locked Room case - a female intern is harrassed by her boss.
The twists in this case are interesting.
The way, Dr. BB found out the truth in this case is impressive.
2) Drug Trafficking case - This is Funny. Dr. BB with his team did an autopsy infront of thugs.
Even in the tensed environment with the presence of gangsters n threats from them, our Dr. BB is so cool, taking risks to save his team.
Dr. BB found out that this case is related to Doc K.
The way he solved this case is Amazing .
3) Couple's death at the same time - Suspected everyone involved in this case😂 n the final twist is good.
Dr. BB with his stubborness, insisted to continue with an in-depth analysis n so found out the true twist in this case.
4 to 7) Spree Killing / Red Stockings cases - There are 4 suspected cases. The twist is good.
Related to Doc K n bad guys, came to know only from Dr. BB's deep analysis.
But Dr. BB is very rude and harsh during these cases with Eun Sol, his boss and colleagues :O
(Even myself, who admire him alot, was mad at him for his behaviour, hehe)
He n Eun Sol even fought, spoke rudely in team meetings, OmG! ;/
8) Kidnap case of Forensic lady Investigator Su Yeon's daughter - This is a very emotional case (Director made this very dramatic , haha). Everyone cried, both forensic team n prosecution team who are friends with her except Dr. BB, as expected.
Doc Jang who went to rescue the kid got suspected
Related to Doc K.
Here what I found funny is I was very skeptical about how an autopsy report or a forensic examiner will be of use or take a lead in a kidnap case but the writers have turned this case so well in a smart way to finally conclude that Only Dr. BB, a forensic pathologist can help in this kidnap. God, these writers! (Eye roll)
9) Granny's death case - This is truly an emotional n sad case
A 9 year old boy lives with his retarded dad n granny.
The child actor acted very well .
This looked like a simple murder case in the beginning but the Writers Team never include a simple case in the drama, there should be a twist always!
Dr. BB will be the first one always to reveal any in-depth details and so the surprise twist is revealed here too.
Bad prosecutors Mr. Gal n Mr. No have become complete fools in this case, Very funny .
10) Oh Man Sang's drug case - Finally this guy, this case has ended after two whole seasons, haha.
11, 12) Prosecutor Do's friend's Snake bite case n Celebrity case - Dr. BB is Amazing n at his best to solve these two cases, Very Impressive!!
For the first time, saw him being soft for Mr.Do n for his boss, when they are in trouble (so Dr. BB is of Tsundere personality 🤭)
Snake bite case is the most complicated, emotional n tiring case in this season.
These last 2 cases (last 4 eps of 16) are Tiring, a lot had happened :o
Everyone running desparately - the Good Team trying to find out the truth n collect evidences for Justice n the Bad Team trying to stop them.
Everyone, including the bad guys, worked extra hard in these two cases, haha.
The suspense in these last 4 eps is Nail Biting - Who will lose the job, Do or Gal? How will the truths unveil in these two cases, How the true mystery surrounding Doc Jang n Doc K be revealed, Who n how Mr. Do or Doc Jang survive in the finale n Will the bad guys be punished for their crimes or no etc.
Just watch the drama for the answers! ;)
So finally in all the cases, Dr. BB has the Ultimate Importance in S2 too.
Only he solved the cases with crucial details, with his different thinking, odd n weird methods of performing an autopsy and extensive in-depth autopsy of every minute detail.
*** CHARACTERS n ACTORS:
All actors perfomed very well.
The Dynamics between every character is Good.
(Dynamics include their interactions, relationships, emotional connections etc )
Dr. BB is still grumpy with everyone, haha.
Harsh n rude at times n his autopsy ways have become more bizarre n quirky.
But he is more amazing in this season, Oh My Baek Beom!
As said in My Review of S1:
The way Dr. BB is able to see through his case subjects in an autopsy with his Extensive Knowledge n pinpoint every detail, which are usually missed by other examiners/prosecutors, is very Smart n written in a very intelligent n gripping manner!
Those minor details blow up, set an unexpected turn in the investigation n speed up the case a lot, thereby helping to catch the True Culprit.
THIS IS THE MOST INTERESTING PART OF EVERY CASE THAT I REALLY LOVED.
Dr. BB's ways of conducting autopsy are so unnatural n odd at times like smelling the contents of stomach or any other sort of smelling around dead body, groping the dead body (all these are done for testing n analysis, but are not done by any other forensic examiner). These make him look weird n gross to the people around him, including the examiners.
But he knows exactly what he does, he is smart, thinks out of the box, sees what others can't see in a case, in a dead body in specific n he makes sure of being THOROUGH with the autopsy n thereby finding the true cause of death n the true murderer.
Eun Sol is kind, as usual :)
Do Ji Han n his assistant are very cool .
(Disliked Do, when he was first introduced in S1 for his arrogance but really a lovable character here)
Loved the rapport of Dr. BB n Do Ji Han :) . Both are crazy enough (one is grumpy n another is a doberman), haha.
The suspense related to Doc K n Doc Jang is very well maintained throughout.
U suspect Doc Jang throughout n u can't really tell whether he is good or bad initially (n later u can guess his story, to some extent).
His true Mystery is revealed in ep 12.
Our Suho / Lee Yi Kyung's cameo in finale is a Good Surprise! :)
Missed him in S2 very badly, he was so much Fun to watch in S1

Missed Suho n Stella romance here :/
Cute prosecutor Kang from S1 is a lawyer in 1st case, just a guest role.
The recurring teams of Dr. BB or Eun Sol are cool here too.
Loved the bonding of everyone (forensic n prosecution teams) in this season :)

One Side Love track of Sally with Dr. BB (with that age difference :o ). His cold reaction when she proposed him infront of everyone, is very funny.
Su Yeon's kid tried to ship her mom with Doc Jang..that's cute!
Assistants of Eun Sol n Do Ji Han.. their love triangle sort of vibe is very funny.
I would like to ship Eun Sol with Dr. BB (in S1 too, since BB is little tamed n not very grumpy with Eun Sol ONLY🤭) n Eun Sol with Do Ji Han too.
In S1, rooted for Eun Sol and her senior, prosecutor Kang too.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any of these in both seasons .
***** SPOILERS *****
*** ENDING :
Last 4 eps looked RUSHED to give a conclusion for this season, could have explored all those details in 5-6 eps, instead of 4.
Our Dr.BB is conducting a test till the very last moment, till the last 5 minutes of the S2 finale ep :O n that made me super anxious about the season's ending (what if a case is left halfway like that in S1) ;)
S2 Ending is Decent n gave a feeling of Closure (maynot be a Peaceful, Satisfying, Full n Clean Closure as expected by everyone but not a Dirty Closure :), also GOOD that it's not a Cliffhanger Ending like that of S1, else I won't be at peace! Haha)
Only Regret here is we didn't get to see a complete ending for the bad guys n justice for good guys.
Though Mr. Do collected the evidences for the crimes of Mr. Gal but didn't get a chance to make them public n so Gal is happy with his job n life, whereas Do is affected badly;(
Bad guys are not punished still.
All these are left unresolved :|
*** S3? :
Like S1, S2 too hinted at the possibility n scope for a Sequel.
The story of Baek Beom n Eun Sol has not yet concluded, leaving the door open for further adventures.
Since this S2 Ending has few points, related to bad guys, unresolved n those paved a way, a base to S3.
Unfortunately S3 didn't happen in 6 years
Poor us, the Viewers! :(
There should be a Sequel/S3/atleast a special episode to conclude the leftover matters of S2.

***My Guess for S3, if any:
Bad prosecutor Gal would be the Villain in next season.
Mr. Do with his new team, Eun Sol with a new beginning knowing about the corrupted prosecutors in her office n Dr. BB with his team all together would bring justice to Do's friend (Snake bite case) n would expose Mr. Gal's crimes with evidences.
As I expected, there's a third personality of Doc Jang n his story should be explored, cleared of all charges n cured.
*** OST:
BGM suits well to the mood of the drama.

Just finished S2, 10/10
Flawless n No moment of boredom throughout the drama .
(S1 is 9.5/10,
0.5 less just for minor disturbance in ep 1, lil struggled to pass through that, else it's 10/10 too )

KIM NAM GIL MADE THIS USUAL CRIME DRAMA TO STAND OUT IN ITS GENRE! 10/10 for me.
Reading a Criminal's mind is Scary n Disturbing! :(And Nam Gil made U feel that Horrible Feeling, with his Suffering (with his Acting) !
One of my all time favs, in this genre! :)
As a Crime Drama enthusiastic n an ardent fan of mystery / detective / suspense / crime Genre,
this is a 10 / 10 for me!
WONDERFUL Crime Drama with CRIMINAL PROFILER (Psychological Analysis of the suspect / Criminal and thereby helping the police detective team in investigation) as the Main Lead.
It's surprising to know that ML's character is based on a Real Life Profiler, who is one of the screenwriters to this.
VERY INTERESTING and have a GRIPPING STORYLINE.
There is no moment of boredom throughout.
Direction, Screenplay, Cinematography are VERY GOOD.
Gives a DARK VIBE n chilling feel that suits to the crime genre / serial murders.
**** PACING:
The PACING of the drama is GOOD n RIGHT to the point!
The Tone / Mood of the drama is Serious
(I mean, it captured the seriousness of the criminals / crimes, very well , without being shown as a light crime drama)
**** CASES:
Deals with multiple murder cases.
Shown some cases of real life brutal serial killers too.
(Around 1 CASE per EPISODE)
CASES are WELL WRITTEN.
Some might find few little bland or slow at times.
But what I say is, for a Crime Profiling Drama, this slow, yet serious pace /writing, is demanded by the stories n I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this drama, without losing any interest.
(It's not too slow n not mediocre stories)
Also, these are based on Real Cases as per the drama, so can't expect a crime profiling fiction with a faster pacing than shown here.
Psychological Analysis n the Struggles faced during it, takes Time, obviously!
One of the cases here, is based on a Real Life Serial Killer, "The Raincoat killer"

**** CHARACTERS / ACTORS :
The acting by everyone is good.
The profilers duo (main leads), their rapport is very good.
I loved Jung Ju (3rd guy in their profiler team) and Gil pyo (police).
Sometimes they are funny and are a bit comedic relief to the serious, dark mood of this drama.
What I LOVED MORE is the ACTING of actor KIM NAM GIL.
His role is a cold introvert person, who never opens up even with closed ones, never talks about what he thinks or feels, even when it is required.
Never smiles (just a faint smile at times), not so social, always brooding bcz of the Dark Vibes surrounding him all the time,
And yet kind, stubborn and Dedicated to his profession to save everyone (related to the crimes) as much as possible n warm at heart.
I liked his DEDICATION!
He slayed this role totally, with his acting.
Not everyone can pull off this role well so easily.
He is a PROLIFIC ACTOR!
This is my first drama of his.
And THIS DRAMA MADE ME TO FALL IN LOVE WITH HIS ACTING! 💕
Also, He is handsome with that hair style, it suited him so well (drooling here 🤤haha )
This might be the usual crime drama dealing with multiple cases but Nam gil's acting really made this drama to stand out in this genre.
No doubt, He is a plus point to this drama.
THE RATING IS 9 or 9.5 for the stories or cases
BUT 10 bcz of NAM GIL :)
(Just a side note about him:
After this, I watched drama "The Fiery Priest".
The variations in his roles in these two dramas, SURPRISED ME alot.
Here I always wanted him to speak out or smile :O
There, am surprised to see him talking non-stop 😂.
There as a fiery n yet funny n lively person, who never stops talking n smiling, punishing the bad guys and giving evil smirks to them, he just slayed that role too.
And so the Saga of me watching every drama of his, started :)
If he is in a project (even a cameo), I'm in! :) )
**** THE TROUBLING PART:
In some criminal cases, dealing a serial killer or profiling/analysing the psychology of that brutal person, is so TIRING MENTALLY.
For eg, The conversations of Ha Yeong (Nam gil's character) and the serial killer, Yeong chun (eps 4-8) are disturbing at times.
Both Nam Gil n Joon woo acted their roles well, in those scenes.
Knowing the INNER THOUGHTS OF A CRIMINAL, esply a serial killer, is Very Creepy, sends chills down the spine! 😱
And it's a HELLISH SUFFERING for the Profiler to listen, observe and analyse those evil thoughts and to stay cool without being provoked :|
OH MY NAM GIL (Ha Yeong)!
**** EPISODES:
The number of episodes (12) is GOOD n RIGHT.
Sometimes, lengthy dramas are boring to watch but I don't mind for this, to be lengthy :)
**** MUSIC:
OST opening instrumental music suits well to the mood of the drama
n BGM too.
PS: The POSTER of the Drama gives a DARK VIBE.
FINALLY,
Pls, DON'T MISS WATCHING THIS, all the crime drama lovers will definitely love this.
I would love to REWATCH it anytime, just for Nam gil, even though the suspense element of the cases is already known.
Usually in crime / mystery dramas, once the suspense or the twist is known, there's no point, no fun in re-watching it but this drama is an Exception!
NEED A SEASON 2, MORE OF NAM GIL, MORE EPISODES n MORE CRIMINAL CASES :)

Definitely NOT A BROMANCE! Study Less, Fight More!! YOUNG REBELS! Haha
I'm little SKEPTICAL to watch Thai school dramas after being disappointed n bashed by "Home school" which I watched with a lot of expectations and struggled to finish.N so postponed watching this alot but pushed myself n finally gave this a try.
This is nothing like that series.
U will ENJOY EVERY SCENE - all their Friendships or SaintShin's Frenemy Saga ( Friends turned Enemies turned Lovers, Oops, Friends 🤭)
The STRUGGLE of the TEACHERS to get back spoilt kids and help every student grow in life, taking an extra step, risking their own jobs n lives, is SWEET.
U will see the students ALWAYS FIGHTING (school wars) in EVERY EPISODE, God! :|
At times, it's a bit unnecessary prolonging of the story (CONTENT FILLERS !? ) or FRUSTRATING to see those REPETITIVE TEAM FIGHTS , the usual school wars in every episode but it's not extreme scary or gore violence.
BTW, why are they ALWAYS FIGHTING, instead of STUDYING? :o , Ehhh !? Haha

Involves themes of teenagers struggling to survive, school bullying, bad thugs taking advantage of school students, stress and pressure from parents related to studies, bad parenting, arrogant teenagers who are difficult to handle by parents/teachers, life/financial struggles in young age itself forcing one to work part-time, the Good friendships, the Bad friendships, good/bad influences on each other among young adults.
SCHOOL BULLYING or any sort of Bullying is a CRIME n should be punished harshly.
Well directed n well acted by everyone.
LOVED the ENSEMBLE CAST.
Mark as autistic, acted well.
I loved SaintShin's scenes more, than every other plot track.
THERE IS THIS TENSED BUT SWEET VIBE WHEN BOTH OF THEM ARE IN THE SAME FRAME! :)

I FORCED Myself to Believe that it's just a CLOSE FRIENDSHIP between CHILDHOOD BUDDIES but No, SaintShin are proving it wrong, forcing me to see the ROMANCE of CHILDHOOD SWEETHEARTS !! :)
Also Shin in public, makes it look like just
