STORY OF A GHOST THAT NEVER LEAVES THE SCHOOL!

I remember watching this in my younger years n all these years, had an impression on this as a SUPER Scary Horror n so was my fav back then.
SILLY ME! 🤭

(Maybe, back then it was scary to watch the physical assault/ violence towards students by teachers, mysterious deaths, Suicide / hanging etc..
hmm, all problematic issues for a young person )

Now as an adult, re-watched n I don't find it so 😂.
But Yeah, still I find the VIBE of that water dripping bgm music in the ghost haunting scenes, EERIE n is my favourite horror suspense scene bgm still ! :)
n So I say, it's a Good horror watch!

Plot is Good.
The Twist about the ghost, that concept in the end is different.
Story of a Ghost, which never leaves the school! (Funny n Sad at the same time !!)

SAD! A Student as a Ghost forever stuck, in search of a True Friend! :(

The first half of the movie is a bit irritatingly SLOW Paced .

There is this feeling of unclear confusion throughout the movie.
Maybe that's bcz the flow of the story is not smooth, editing is not so good.
(For eg, Ji oh n Jae yi Looked like Rivals/strangers in their intro scene but in immediate next few scenes, looked Very close, all of a sudden!? ,
Close enough to sacrifice their lives!? :o )

But the last 30 mins n the Ending give a clear picture of everything n clears every confusion !

That "water droplet dripping" BGM gives the Eerie Horror Vibe

That amount of physical assault of students by teachers is unacceptable 😱

FUNNY Sam! Hilarious rom-com!!

I watched this Only for actor Sam Lin! :)
But found A Very Funny Rom com!

Plot and the comedy is spot on!

Being Timid is troublesome always.
Especially in Love, when the ML is timid n can't say NO, that's when the trouble and the comedy begins.

There are a lot of "Secrets" revealed in the end, haha.
Almost every character in the plot, has an affair n revealing everyone's Secrets to the ML is funny😂

Comedy roles suit Sam Lin really very well, his goofy acting is Very Good!

Some of the dialogues and references to famous movies / actor, actresses or mocking famous horror movies, all such references are funny.

I personally don't like timid ML - bossy FL tropes or cheating/two-timing love tropes but this is funny.

That Ending is apt to the story! 😂

Both the gals don't deserve the ML , they are just taking advantage of his timid or "can't say No" personality very badly n later they complain that he is two timing - Sarcastic!
He is just helpless!
So it would be better if the ML chooses someone new, haha

This series is an anthology of Short Horror stories.
1 Horror story per episode.

Usually, Thai Horrors are Good but this one, has to be IMPROVED.

The stories in this anthology miniseries are not SCARY at all.
But some are VERY INTERESTING, maybe 1-2 stories can be made into a Movie.

(Also, It's good to see some known actors from other dramas as main leads or in support roles)

I liked the PREQUEL Anthology, "Angkhan Khlumpong the Series", more, since it got serious n more scary stories.
Watched those at 3 AM! 😂
Both the Seasons are Standalone anthology series .

If U are a horror genre lover, Watch S1 too, which is 10/10 for me.

Dong won: SPEAK LESS, WORK/KILL MORE!

To be honest, Since it is mentioned as a SEQUEL to "Train To Busan", watched with a lot of expectations (that is my 9.5/10 n is a very interesting story from the beginning to the end) n so am disappointed with this.

But One thing I would like to say about this is, WATCH THIS AS A STANDALONE (/Shared Universe) Zombie apocalypse n ONLY then U might ENJOY this .

**** POSITIVES:
The Car Chasing Scenes are AWESOME. Those graphics / visual effects are exactly like some racing / zombie mobile games ;)


**** NEGATIVES (/what I didn't like n felt boring):

The first 30 and the last 30 minutes are VERY GOOD.
Remaining are just boring.

Dong won has very limited screen presence and in the middle of the movie, almost for an hour (total running time is 2 hours), he has no screentime being the main lead :O
I need to tell myself that this may not be a single hero oriented movie but one with a team work or multiple main leads (just like it's prequel).

Also he has very very limited dialogues - this may not be a negative n actually maybe it's required for his character as so .
SPEAK LESS, WORK/KILL MORE! 😂

(I liked him from "The Priests" movie. Here, he is handsome even with this less screentime, haha )

Other characters are not so interesting too
Plot, direction n pacing of the story are just OK, could be made BETTER!

I liked ONLY Dong won's role
And His n the gal's car chase /racing scenes are interesting, that's all.
Nothing else is very Impressive !

Overall, it's just One Time Watch (as a standalone)!

What a sadist Xia Yan is !! haha Poor baby Shu Nian.

GOOD EMOTIONAL SADISTIC story (including both prequel and sequel, two movies with two endings to the story)

Well written, well directed and well acted.

CONTAINS UNACCEPTABLE THEMES of VIOLENCE EMOTIONALLY and PHYSICALLY.

Initially it is very creepy, sadistic, abusive , irritating and disturbing.

The amount of time, I wanted to thrash Xie Yan for his arrogant attitude n narcissistic behaviour n for torturing our Shu Nian, is countless!

Poor baby Shu Nian! ;(
I can't bear his SUFFERING (orphan with a slave life and on top of it, unrequited love) :(
ONE SIDE LOVE is HELL n Life is hell! :(

Contains Master - Slave / boss - servant theme.
And has a plot of servant secretly in love with his arrogant master.

Master - Slave concepts are always uncomfortable, especially if the submissive has unrequited love for the dominant :(

Later Master, when forbidden, persuading his lover trope, is always satisfying in a evil manner.

Xie Yan is more pathetic and TOXIC in the novel n so I prefer the SAD Ending there.
He should not be forgiven for the hell torture he made to Shu Nian and has to take the punishment lifelong, crying and feeling guilty for the loss of Shu Nian.

Movie has depicted both endings.
Liked the HAPPY ENDING here.
Xie Yan character is comparatively lighter n less toxic here.
So am happy for Shu Nian to find his peace finally with his loved one :)
(Though Xie Yan don't deserve such a kind soul like Shu Nian).

Their lovey dovey scenes, though very short, are very sweet :)

The post credits scene of the Happy ending movie version, is very funny and cute :)

OST - Both the songs, each sung by the main actors, are good.

(Watch both the movies and both the endings.

Poor Bok! :( A Good Sad Story!!

Initially SKEPTICAL to watch this but turned out to be a GOOD SAD story !
uff, Poor Mita / Poor Bok !! :(

Not only Mita/ Bok's story, the story of children's family is also good.
Overall a GOOD family drama too

Watched both parent Japanese story n the Korean Remake.
Both are GOOD.
Well written, well acted n well directed.

Korean Remake has an EXTRA plot of Mita/Bok's stalker.
And there are some differences in few other characters too like aunt character is funny n has some importance in JD, while its counterpart is less important, not so funny. And Grandpa in KD is strict n yet silly n funny, while his counterpart is so moody n an angry bird, OmG, haha
Neighbouring nosy aunty is such a silly baby doll in KD 😂, while her counterpart is just fine.
SO BOTH VERSIONS CAN BE WATCHED N ENJOYED.

(KD director n screenwriter took their own sweet time of 9 extra hours to add these EXTRA contents, so pls do watch it too, haha )

In KD, I loved character "Director Hong" (boss of Bok's agency). She is hilarious :)
(I can hear her laughing while writing this ,- "ahh, hahaha") :)
Her counterpart in JD is just fine.
(She justs spills every secret n says OmG.. 🤭)

Initially U feel odd, weird n suspicious of the robot like housekeeper
but when life bashes u a lot, u feel that u don't deserve anything, not even a simple little Smile:( ..Sad lives! :(

SOMETIMES, LIFE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE!

Why do I find char Seo Ji Hoon/Jang Do Hyuk (stalker char) handsome at times though a crazy stalker

BURN THE DRAMA too, haha

The Story is Good but the Execution is Dull !!

First 2 episodes are damn SLOW, weird acting n wanted to drop.
But Later as episodes progress, PACING n PLOT
got improved a lot.
From ep 3, it's Good.
From ep 5, it got INTERESTING, with a lot of Mystery and Suspense!

Overall GOOD, just One Time Watch.
(congrats to me, am able to finish this ! ;) )

Step Siblings' Romance is a bit hmm No, a bit uncomfortable for me.
(Or both the couples like each other from childhood but the Evil Mom, unnecessarily, made them Step siblings for her own gains !? Huh ? :/ )

Evil Mom - that actress is pretty n did act her Villain role Very Well.

Even FL acted well.
Her proposal to ML is different, haha , she proposed to his mom first !? Haha, Good .

That dad is a complete No! 😂
He either depends on his sisters or Evil 2nd wife or his Nurse!
Burn Him Down first !! Haha.

ML (character Kiichi) needs a shower very badly!
N a Hair cut too 😂
(Finally, in the ending scene, he got a hair cut!

We got to see the face of ML, Else We would remain in history as Viewers who didn't know the face of the Male Lead in a Drama , haha )

I liked the summary of the plot and the revenge process.
But Not so well written at times.
Also, Direction n execution of the suspense could be made better!
But Production n Cinematography are GOOD

To be honest, The Summary made me to expect a lot but disappointed.
A GOOD POTENTIAL PLOT that could have done Better.

Though disappointed with initial episodes (story execution n acting), later I enjoyed the story with Twists n the Suspense - started suspecting every character, haha

BEAUTIFUL STORY! ✨
A GOOD Mix of Love, Family Drama and Fantasy.

*** TITLE:
The Title "My Happy Marriage" itself makes u feel Happy and Warm :)
(My cousin sis n I make fun about it, everytime that in real life, marriages are never happy😂
Also, another Title for this movie, "As Long As We Both Shall Live" is just saying "FOREVER", in a lengthy way :) )!

INITIALLY that same title made me SKEPTICAL to watch, thinking it would be some Boring Drama but when I came to know about the FANTASY Element and concept of Supernatural Powers in the story, I Rushed n I'm in! :)
Fantasy n Supernatural genres are always fun to watch.

*** STORY :
The Story of a helpless young lady Miyo (with Supernatural power but dormant here), being treated as a servant maid in her own house by her step mom, tortured by her half sister, being arranged a marriage alliance with a rude Lord Kiyoka Kudo (has special Supernatural powers) by elders and is sent to his house even before the wedding.

The story of how they get along,
How Love develops between them,
How their marriage alliance helped them to grow individually and also together in each other's company and mutual support &
Finally, How they found their happily ever after, together.

*** CHARACTERS & ACTORS:
Kiyoka - Miyo are a Power couple! 💕
They COMPLETE n COMPLEMENT each other 🥰

He became soft n kind bcz of Miyo, while her confidence is boosted up bcz of Kiyoka.

Their Couple proves that even an arranged marriage between two complete strangers, can work out beautifully, though bumpy, initially .

Their Beautiful Love Story proves that U can find ur TRUE and STRONG LOVE even when u are in a completely impossible situation :)
And gives a HOPE that sometimes Love will bring Good Changes in Life n not always Bad! :)

Ren Meguro is Cute ;) and the actress named Mio in real life and playing character Miyo, both names being the same is funny sweet.
Both played their roles well.
Their chemistry is Good and their height difference is cute :)

Watched the Anime adaptation (S1) from the novel first n LOVED it to the CORE.
It's FLUFFY, WARM n SWEET :) , in terms of Love story,
FUNNY (sarcastic), in terms of Family Drama (remember, Miyo's step mom n half sis' dirty politics at home, God! :/ )
and AWESOME, in terms of Fantasy and Supernatural powers (the lightning and sparks produced by Kiyoka to save Miyo are Fire! 🔥😏)
So Overall, THIS STORY IS JUST WOW !! ✨

And then this Live action MOVIE adaptation, it's VERY GOOD but not the BEST and AWESOME like the Anime.

It's just so bcz story-wise, MANY points are MISSING here.
Felt Rushed, the required SLOW BUILD UP n the CORE VIBE of the story, are MISSING here :(
For eg, the WOW factor that u feel where Kiyoka burns Miyo's house down with his Supernatural power - lightning & saves her etc - is GOOD here
But that is WOW & U get GOOSEBUMPS in Anime.
The slow build up that u need to feel that Miyo has to be saved from that family only by Kiyoka, even if it is by burning or killing and so when he did so, that entire scene, that core vibe is Missing here n is felt in Anime.

(I know that it's Difficult to Adapt Everything into a Movie :/
So Mr.Director, plss, better Adapt this story into a LIVE ACTION DRAMA with the ENTIRE STORY of Kiyoka - Miyo n with the SAME CAST !! 🥰)

Cinematography of the movie is Good.

*** RATING:
9 /10 for the Movie

9.5 /10 for the Anime, just bcz more story from the novel, is being adapted into Anime, since I want more of Kiyoka n Miyo :)

And OVERALL, 10 /10 FOR THE STORY!! :)

Poor baby piggy! CHASING AWAY an EVIL SPIRIT is damn TIRING, haha

I love Horror genre.

This is a SERIOUS HORROR.
May not contain Jump Scares but truly SCARY PSYCHOLOGICALLY.

The Vibe is DARK n gives CHILLS.
Will truly feel "The Ghost in the air, everywhere" sort of scary vibe, haha

It is not some easy-going Ghost story or the usual horror trope, where there's a ghost possessing someone related to the protagonist n the protagonist with some help, wards it off easily.

*****CHARACTERS:
The Protagonists are not the family members of the Possessed.
They are the Priests who are Struggling Hard to save the person, risking their own lives .

The STRUGGLE involved, the priests DESPERATE to SAVE is TIRING.
At some point, the characters may be left with no clue or no way to Save or Survive, all remain helpless.

Constantly, Keeps one on the Edge of one's Seat, watching the MLs struggling hard n running around desparately to ward off the evil spirit
And creates a NAIL BITING Tension n Suspense, doubting how they will Save n Survive!

Haha, that Evil Spirit is a dirty one, not only insults with mind-twisting words to manipulate the minds, also tries to weaken the person whoever interacts with it.

Well Directed and well Acted.

Good Cinematography too.

Both the Main Leads in Priests roles, performed well.
Dong Won reciting the ritual lines in Spanish, while exorcising, is Good

This reminds me of the famous serious horrors that are psychological scary horrors, where Protagonists Struggle a lot to Save the Possessed, like
"The Exorcist" or few James Wan's horror movies ("Conjuring", "Insidious")
or Korean horrors "Exhuma", "The Wailing"
or Thai horror anthology series "Angkhan Khlumpong" (all stories in this are serious n scary) etc.

Finally, U will be relieved in the end, when the priests are finally done with the chase n saved the possessed person.

CHASING AWAY an EVIL SPIRIT is damn TIRING for the Famous Actors too (Joking!! The Hype) 😂

Watched this bcz of the TITLE, haha

Haha the TITLE makes U curious to know what exactly is this story about.
U might freak out, thinking it's some child ab*use or maybe MORE EAGER to know what funny things the wife go through as a little girl after reincarnation 😂

I love Reincarnation trope.

It's a GOOD family drama with supernatural elements .
The feel and vibe change quickly :
Funny To Heart warming To Heart-wrenching

The main child actress did her both roles very well (as a wife and as a reincarnated school girl)
(Watch the Anime, lil gal looks more young in Anime. It's more hilarious initially, when she as a lil gal, scolds her husband though later becomes very emotional and heart-wrenching :( )

Dad is the funny one :)
Renji (actor Sugino Yosuke) is cute ;)

I watched this live action and then the Anime and then reading the Manga :)

Few things are changed here from the Manga and some extra plot concepts are added and those changes are also good.

(Manga is more elaborate and Anime is a true adaptation of it, but not fully).

Silly and Hilarious !!
Easy-going light-hearted drama.
ONE Haunted Property CASE per Episode.

Home (char) has a ghost in his every Home (property), Ehh !?
And Peach who is scared of Ghosts, is the one who helps Home to ward them off, Ehh !? 😂

Tay, Mook, Jan, New and New are a great team.
Want a 2nd season.

Lovely Peach, Silly Home :)
Baby dolls Pangpang n Kan :)
Sweet Suradech :)
They are like Scooby doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred 😂

In the end, everyone found what they want and what they deserve!
Happiness, friendship like a family and the meaning of life (what is Home? - a question asked by grandpa to Home.. "Home is not a property, it's People caring for U, staying with U" is the lesson learnt)

I Love how all 5 of them are always together in the END CREDITS of each episode, eating or fooling around😍
But at times, depending on the mood of the episode, the team is broke and so in the end credits, there are only 1-2 of them :(
So the END CREDITS is like a Summary of that Episode :)

Happy to see TayNew in a Horror Comedy, esply in a NON-BL.
At times, they should act in every genre, to avoid TYPECASTING,
esply as "Main Leads without Romance" and this is how exactly it is :)

It's like ensemble cast, so every actor has an equal share of drama and comedy.

I personally love multi-starrer works :)

It hits different and so lovely to see all our boys in one drama :)

All the six "TEE" boys stay in the house as roommates .
6 "T" roomies - each Tee is of different personality

There is sufficiently enough EMOTIONAL DRAMA too in this, along with COMEDY at times.

When U want to see your favourite BL actors in a Non-BL drama, especially a HORROR COMEDY genre, then this is the One for U!
(And it's a Musical too )

Oh my goofy boys! Haha
Silly and Hilarious !!

A good light-hearted drama to pass the time.
All of them stay in a house and the comedy starts.
A Pure Nonsense Fun blast for the boys and playtime for the ghost😂

It's ensemble cast, so every actor has equal share of drama and comedy.
I personally love multi-starrer works :)
It hits different and so lovely to see all our boys in one drama :)

The parody scenes and the references of dramas Untamed, Squid game etc, are very funny.

The first 6 eps are the main story and final ep is just musical

Happy to see BL actors in a Non-BL, They can avoid Typecasting , esply BL couple actors :)
