PERFECT 10 LINERS on EVERY SUNDAY was a PERFECT WEEKEND!😎
Invested 6 months of my lifetime :) (screened for 24 weeks) for this long journey of 3 Main Couples, 3 Side Couples, 6 Different Love Stories, Many Friendships, ENSEMBLE CAST n Lovely Cameos.

**** DIRECTION:
This is the BEST WORK OF DIRECTOR New!
Watched 16 of his works before 2025. This is the Only One, I could rate 8.5 or 9 without second thoughts, NO MOMENT OF BOREDOM THROUGHOUT THE SERIES here.

His previous works (Super Hits too) have Great Plots, Actors with Great Fanbase (most of his MLs are my favs :) ), Very Interesting n Very Impressive but contain Irritating, Boring REPETITIVE Content that U can't really Skip, either for the Story or for fav actors :/.
Can tolerate Repetitions but anything in excess, spoils the interest n impressions!
So, Skeptical to watch but tried.
Here, I won't Point my Fingers at him! Haha

**** EPISODES:
A DEFINITE n DEDICATED SLOT, 8 eps per Couple, like an Anthology of 3 Main Stories.
Since Shared Universe n need to co-exist, merged together as a 24 ep drama.
This point made it MORE INTERESTING

I say "No more Student BLs, "Tired of Engineering Uniforms n WHITE Shirts, want some COLORS, haha"
n yet I watch, not to miss an actor's performance.
Liked this, even it's a BL with routine Varsity setting :)

The Story Telling, Progression n Execution are GOOD, for this Simple n light-hearted Plot (No Heart-wrenching Tropes or Toxic characters)

The INTERTWINING OF ALL COUPLES' STORIES is SMOOTH.
PACING is RIGHT.

Each couples' friends gangs n hang outs are different. There's another for 3 Main Couples with seniors -The Perfect 10 Liners Group.
All these intertwined friends' stories are beautifully Directed.
(The writers n director might have drawn many Venn diagrams to clearly Plan the Screenplay n Editing of the Unions n Intersections of all these Multiple Sets of friends' gangs and their scenes, haha)

1) ArcArm Story - 8 episodes
With
PondSand Story like peanuts, JetYeepun with almost Zero Screentime n their friends gang comedy.

In specific, tracks of:
PondSand.
JetYeepun, already a couple n so No Story, just scenes with the gangs. Zero Screentime, ALONE as a couple :( .
Ex gf of Arm.
Two Probable admirers of Arc.
Mistaken admirer of Arm, Thongfah -Sea is cool.
Comedy Trio Arm, Po n Sand (Poon n JJ SHINED in their roles✨)
Arc n his two friends -Gawin n Drake are cool.

2) YothaGun Story - 8 episodes
With
Lovey dovey scenes of ArcArm, little KlaoWarit Story, more of Yotha's fights at bar🤭 n Gun's friends gang comedy.

In specific, tracks of:
Yotha's ex bf.
ArcArm dating era.
Lil KlaoWarit.
Little base to FaifaWine Story, with Faifa as Yotha's brother.
Comedy Trio Gun, Faifa n Kong
Fun moments of Gun's friends Faifa, Kong, Franc n Book (Aun, Aungpao, Ford are funny)

FREQUENT lovey dovey scenes of ArcArm, YothaGun n KlaoWarit, invading the space/slot of FaifaWine n reducing their screentime within these 6.5 eps :o n their friends gang comedy.

In specific, tracks of:
Ex gf of Wine, Toey -Ployphach is sweet.
Ex crush of Wine, Tor -Ohm is cool.
ArcArm, YothaGun n KlaoWarit dating era.
Fun n Sweet moments of Trio Wine, Jay n Ben (actors Franc n Tee look alike a little, Confusing! ;) , they are sweet).
Fun moments of Faifa n his friend Phuri (Louis with his English n echoing while speaking, is very funny).
Group moments in Newton's bar.

4) KlaoWarit Story - 1.5 episodes
With Lovey dovey scenes of ArcArm, YothaGun n FaifaWine (all in relationships by now)

The BRACELET UNCLE TAWAN (as called by these boys🤯, my baby Tay :) :( ), a Cameo in all the stories.
Like Secret Santa giving out gifts, this mysterious alumnus playing Cupid, giving out Love bracelets (Oops, P10L Group Bracelets, haha ) to his juniors

Overall, these Different Stories teach that LOVE IS THE MAGIC PILL THAT HEALS EVERY FEAR N TRAUMA, helping to move on n grow individually in Life, together! ;)

Faifa is the BEST Character (with his strongest n weakest :))

All are handsome but Jeeratch with his dimples🤤, Tay Tawan n Force are more handsome.
Emi is sweet.

Arc is Cold, Grumpy n Persuasive.
Force is like a handsome Anime character with those Sexy Smirks😏, giving irritated side-eyes n cold demeanor :)
Force is a good actor but he looked uninterested n uncomfortable, esply in the group scenes of last 16 eps:o . Character demands? Anyways, No complaints!

Like Book in mature roles only, not in comedy. Arm is Goofy. Poon n JJ really helped with his comedy track.

I admire Perth for "Eye acting" :)
Love his Voice, soft n calm. It sounds more mature than his baby face, haha
Yotha is Aggressive (our boy punched the one who teased Faifa in kindergarten itself😏)

Both Arc n Yotha are Silent, dangerously Possessive n Clingy to their bfs ;)

Love Santa. Gun is Sweet but little tired of Gun smiling ear to ear non stop.

Junior performed very well as Faifa.
Love Junior/Faifa the most! :)
FAIFA IN LOVE is so DRAMATIC, Funny, Goofy n Fluffy ;)
A warm n lovely person :)
An extrovert like him being unhappy is not only sad for him but also it's bad to everyone around him.

Mark gives an Elegant Princely Aura in whichever role he plays Wine is Composed n Gentle.

Marc's acting -previously improved but bland again, character demands? :O

Though ArcArm love story is boring like I said above, enjoyed only bcz of Jeeratch, MarcPoon n mainly bcz of the Comedy.
HILARIOUS Trio really gave a boost to those 8 eps, kept me interested n saved from boredom :)

Arc helped Arm to overcome his fear of not to love again n get hurt.
Meanwhile, grumpy Arc became soft bcz of Arm's love! :)

YothaGun's story is Emotional bcz of Yotha's Trauma. Finally Healed n the Magic Pill is Gun! :)

FaifaWine - most beautiful, more stable relationship, more clarity, more transparent, Direct communication, Right to the Point, Without any Drama!

Together, Shared their Trauma, Fears n Pain with Open Communication.
Together, Searched for Solutions to their Individual Traumas.
Together, Solved their Troubles with Mutual Support.
Together, Grew Strong n came out of their individual fears n traumas! :)
(All this, they did before dating 🤭, imagine how sweet their dating era would be! :) )

KlaoWarit have lil disturbances of Trust, Aggressive break outs of Klao initially but settled down later. They are Lovely! :)

In BL "Enchante" (2+ years ago) --Aou, Boom (n Force, Gawin) being Love Rivals for Book. Here, paired up n engaged as KlaoWarit, so they are Rivals turned Lovers now, haha (just joking)

**** ANOTHER REASON WHY I LIKED THIS:
Mom is the root cause of the major trauma of two of her kids.
Yotha chose aggressive destructive mode n Faifa chose to spread love but faking happiness with stress piling up inside.

Mom's Weird Logic cleared one kid's but traumatized another :/
It took 16 eps for YothaFaifa to clear this chaos, haha

Dad looks cool, didn't add extra trauma🤭 No Complaints on him by the kids, haha

Newton's POV is not shown but am sure, he too, will have his own share of trauma. Imagine if his, is explored.

If every such minor story/minute detail is expanded, this would be extended to 30+ eps like CD or KDrama (Not a fan of lengthy dramas)
For the first time, liked Director New for Crisp Story with good Pacing, without Repetitions n wrapping up in 8eps per couple, haha.

**** WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
1) As said above, ArcArm Story looked exactly like a SPIN OFF of their previous BL. Even the characterisation is SAME -- Force being Cold, Grumpy while Book being Silly.
Should have changed their plot/characterisation here or the actors.

Now ONLY THE VIEWERS WHO DIDN'T WATCH THAT DRAMA, can Enjoy this as a Fresh n Lovely one! :)
For Other Viewers like Me, it's an Irritating Repetition!! :(
Thanks to the comedy here, it saved me, haha.

2) Yotha kisses his ex, keeping Gun Waiting with hope. Logic for that kiss is weird.
What do these writers think, while writing such unnecessary? Haha

3) Actors' makeup is Cakey, Irritating.
My Eyes, my Eyes! (FRIENDS Phoebe's reference ;) )

4) In ep 23, Wine calls senior Tawan a STRICT DOG :o
Looks that entire scene was CUT abruptly.
Wine is not someone who speaks bad or harsh.
Lengthy dramas have time constraints.
But sometimes minor details help for better understanding of the characteristics of a character n so, such are to be depicted.

**** LITTLE MORE RANTING:
FaifaWine though the BEST Main couple, have Less Screentime.

PondSand got less screentime in 24 eps ;(
Marc has almost zero screentime in last 16 eps. Poon being a part of the Comedy Trio got more.

Like Jeeratch n Emi, surprised n loved their pairing from their first appearance in ep 1 :)
Not a full track of their love life but a sneak peek of them ALONE, not with the gangs, would be Good.
SAD! Didn't get a proper status as a Side Couple like PondSand n KlaoWarit ;/
Guess, shouldn't expect any decent screentime for a hetero couple in a BL :(

Hope to see these guys in "more mature" roles, other than Student roles to avoid being TYPECAST for only Engineering BLs (Few actors have Diverse roles)

MEDIOCRE HIGH SCHOOL HORROR ANTHOLOGY! Screaming for no reason, haha

CONTENT WARNING:
BE AWARE that all stories have content of Severe School Bullying, Social Media Bullying and Gore.

As the title suggests, all are high school tales, rumoured haunted ghost stories in schools (which are addressed to teenagers, not for adults).

These high school Haunting stories are like rumoured ghost stories that we enjoyed gossiping about, in secret whispers with friends in school days and getting scared for no reason 😂
Same Vibe, screaming for no reason! Haha.

These are Not Serious, NOT SCARY, MEDIOCRE in nature of HORROR, just for passing the time .

This Anthology of 8 stories cover a mix of teenage love + horror + comedy + mystery .

All the three directors worked on good horrors previously , Watched few of their works previously n liked some .

Good to see all known actors.

**** EPISODES:
1: 7 AM
Actors: Kay, Weng, Pepo

OK to watch
Pacing is lil slow at times.

Kay and Pepo can pass as TWINS :)
Surprisingly, Kay got bullied in this. Usually, he is the evil one or bullying one in other dramas 😂

The story: A textbook name is written on the black board daily at 7 am n if anyone in the class misses to bring that book, is killed by the ghost and one's existence is forgotten later completely.

Climax is Good.

The NO part:
Lot of bullying n selfish friendships in this story.

2: VENGEFUL SPELL
Actor: Mark Siwat

INTERESTING one to watch .
Pacing is Good .

Mark is handsome as usual .
He has some charm, some spark that attracts / draws attention .

The story: One has to write the name of the person whom one wishes to die, under one's foot.

A mix of teenage love + horror.
Looks like Love triangles.

Climax is Good .
The twists are Good.
Everything, every wish comes with a heavy price to pay! :/

The NO part:
Lot of Gore.
There is one unacceptable intimate scene between teenagers (though shown as such, with cam angles n though only the characters are teenagers n not the actors) .

Actress Emi :)

She is beautiful as usual .

This story deals with the negatives of beauty consciousness, its struggles n competitions in today's world.
This is Sad Reality 😰

The sad part here is how two gals spoilt their lives with that beauty consciousness, going to any extent to become pretty n the issues of jealousy.

Lot of horror effects to show scary haunting scenes.
Pacing is lil slow at times.

Climax is Good .

OK to watch.

Two stories of school bullying, one 20 years ago and a present one, involving a ghost book.

Twist about the person who writes in that book, is unexpected n Good .

5: HEADLESS TEACHER

Very Hilarious one! 😂
(The usual Thai comedies :)
If U are aware of Thai Horror comedies, only then can enjoy this.
Every country has its OWN TONE OF COMEDY, especially Japan or Thai comedies are not for everyone )

This episode is directed by Director Mike, known for horror comedies previously like "Pee Nak" franchise and comedy BL drama "Siew Sum Noi"

This is a good mix of Horror + Comedy + Death Mystery + Suspense

This is second best in this anthology bcz of the comedy element.
All the other stories (episodes) are serious horrors but this one is exclusively a Horror COMEDY.

Loved the comedy, death mystery and suspense parts in this.
The death mystery is about who killed the teacher n where her head is and solving that, is funny n interesting
The suspense is well maintained till the end.
Pacing is Good.

The kids (two main leads) acted very well in comedy roles.
They acted so well like adult / senior comedians.
The headless teacher is hilarious 😂

The NO part:
There are some unacceptable elements n scenes here, like Pedophilia n a shower scene between the two male teenager leads (about to kiss but stopped) 😰

INTERESTING to watch .
At times, little dragging n boring (in middle of the story)

This story is about a food vlogger (social media content creator) trying to expose the truths about a food stall in his school.

At times, he is irritating for being very stubborn, though he is proven wrong.

Climax is VERY GOOD, unexpected twists.

The NO part:
Lot of Gore
This story deals about social media bullying in modern times, spreading hate comments online without proofs n logics

Our funny Mild, OmG, can't see him as a bully here😰

This is VERY INTERESTING to watch .
The Story is about a ghost nurse fulfilling a wish by anyone sitting in a wheelchair n wishing, in an abandoned wing in the school

Climax is VERY GOOD .
The twist related to the person wishing, is unexpected n sad :(

Severe disturbing school bullying, to the extent that it is irritating .

Actors: Chimon :) , Saint

Saint n Chimon are Cool .
Pacing is lil slow at times but this the BEST in this anthology!
VERY INTERESTING to watch .

This episode itself has 3 ghost stories + 1 main story of Saint n Chimon

Traditional dancers ghost story (good)
Gymnast ghost story (good)
School friends on rooftop ghost story (good, this is related to Saint)

Finally as expected, the TWIST in the end, related to Chimon, is VERY GOOD .
Climax is VERY GOOD .

Lot of horror effects to show scary haunting scenes.

Yeah, Mr PARK IS HANDSOME, Men like him in All Girls School Horrors will meet such an Ending, haha

This Movie is so DIFFERENT from the other movies in this Franchise, in terms of Direction and Story
(Ghosts exist in all those
but here, is it one ghost or two ghosts or does ghost exist really?
haha just Watch, to know)

U can clearly see Modern day Direction n Production (that quality maintained) here, compared to old movies.

Also all movies are about high school girls whereas here FL is the vice principal, who studied in that school n is being haunted by her school friend

Got MIXED FEELINGS n IMPRESSIONS on this Movie. Anyways, INTERESTING to watch.

Doubted this as more of Psychopathic Serial killings than Ghost killings from the beginning itself, seeing Eun Hee's facial expressions throughout .
(maybe I watched too many Horrors n Thrillers with twists )
In the end, the true TWIST is revealed.

The TWIST related to the Old Lame Watchman is VERY GOOD (I doubted this all the time bcz of his interactions with others )

These little details will make U REWATCH this.

Intially, there are multiple mystery tracks going on with Eun Hee n Ha Young and they are shown in a parallel fashion.
Then it looked like existence of Multiple Ghosts.
This suspense and mystery is well maintained throughout the movie .

But by the time, a mystery is about to clear, the scene is cut abruptly n another mystery starts. So there is some confusion created with the editing.
The screenplay is Good but editing is bad.

Ha young is shown as a troublesome teenager who is impossible to handle, as arrogant n bratty - Very irritated to watch her
But as the story progresses, her true story is unfolded.
Poor Ha Young! :(

As an international viewer, Initially confused with the soldiers attacking students n civilians.
Later came to know with some research that it is about 1980's Gwangju Uprising in Korea :(

Surprisingly, MEN played important roles in this story, unlike the other movies in this franchise 🤭

As the gals said, Mr. Park is very handsome ;) but whatever Eun Hee did with him, is the Right Thing!

Eun Hee actress, she acted in the 4th movie, Voice as music teacher.
Her acting here is Very Good, especially in the scenes where she saves Ha young from Mr Park

A Mix of psychopathic person with psychological problems with a touch of haunting of ghosts.
(So Rating for the story itself should be high)

But the EDITING is like sudden cuts in the scenes, at times - IRRITATING!

The Horror Effects, the Haunting Scenes (Jump Scares or the gal Screams😂) are GOOD

I expected the Humming sound (as the title suggests) to be played as BGM throughout the movie for more horror effect but No, I found it only in one scene, so a bit disappointed.

My ONLY COMPLAINT here is:
First they took a lot of time to establish the story but rushed in the end, leaving some points unclear .

Why do all of them roam in School, especially in the abandoned haunted wing during Nights ! :o 😂

Also, What's with the "Red Lipsticks" for school students during school hours :o

Overall, LIKED THIS
but there are few unclear points left unanswered by the end of the movie:

The headless body is of the person in window incident or of the soldier.
If it is soldier's, when did Eun Hee kill him?
Back then, it was shown as she had hurt him with his nametag but not killing him or is it implied?

Also, the TWIST in the end, I took as Eun Hee's friend character doesn't exist at all, her character is just Eun Hee's hallucinations bcz in the final actual scenes, Eun Hee is seen alone in the guitar n pots scenes n not with her friend as shown in her memories of same scenes previously.
but then this arises another question "so Eun Hee's trauma n psychological problems didn't arise from the soldier's incident?", "So Eun Hee is seeing an imaginary friend even before the soldier incident? "

Less rating only bcz of lil bad editing as said above.
Else would be higher and this would be the BEST in the Franchise n also would be included as one of the Good Horrors, overall.

Also, Would have rated this movie, More as 8+ if the unanswered questions had been clarified n given a proper closure to the viewers.

Now left with some sort of negative impressions, not to love this movie more :/

In this Franchise, Liked the 4th movie n this one Equally.
Story-wise, both are equally good and liked.

PROMISE (BLOOD PLEDGE) IS BROKEN n SO R U READY FOR SOME HAUNTING ? Haha

Finally a Movie in this Franchise, where the Ghost's Death is due to Friendship. whereas in the other movies, Love is the reason behind the deaths!🤷🏻‍♀️

Movie Run Time is less, compared to other movies in this franchise n so PACING is RIGHT and GOOD here, without any content fillers, else would have been boring just like the first 3 movies .

Not a Psychological Horror, it's the Usual Horror Trope but with a lot of JUMP SCARES, horror lovers will love those .
n a lot of Girl LOUD SCREAMS 😂

Cinematography is different, the team had tried different lighting for different scenes, which is Good .

But the Haunting Ghost scenes are completely black, almost invisible. Maybe they wanted to create a horror effect with the ghost in complete darkness n then give a jump scare to the viewer, unfortunately almost nothing is visible in those scenes.
I came to know that there is a ghost in such scenes, only when I hear a girl screaming loudly 😂
(On top of this, the print that I watched is of poor quality )

Direction is Good.
Linear Narration, so there is no confusion in the story or in the Editing (unlike the first 3 movies, where u'll go crazy confused or irritated with the Narration n editing )

**** STORY:
Plot is Good n Interesting .

4 High School Girls took a Blood Pledge to die one night but only one dies n so the Ghost takes Revenge on the other two n haunts the third one, who is her bestie.

First 1 hour of the movie, it's all about the Blame Game - blaming each other for the death of the gal.

The next 30 mins is when the true events that happened, unfold and the other gals' reasons for the pledge and their stories are shown.

This transition from the Blame Game to unfolding the actual reasons for the death of the gal n the other gals' stories, is VERY SMOOTH.
Well Written .

Ghost to the three Girls: Our Promise (Blood pledge) is Broken n so be ready to my Haunting! 🤭

Lesson learnt:
If U can't Fulfill Something, Don't PROMISE Anything!
And if U Promise Something, Don't Break it at any cost !!

**** JUST SOME THOUGHTS:
1) Ghost killings in a religious place / Church, huh ? 🤔
It's a Catholic School setting here.
And one gal is killed by the ghost in church, in the end.
How can a ghost enter a religious place? (like shown in other horror movies, in general)

2) Out of 4 girls who made the blood pledge in the beginning, 3 had very strong personal reasons to commit suicide but the gal (main lead) who turned into a ghost, doesn't have any strong motive or reason 🤷🏻‍♀️

She should have convinced her friend not to think of suicide, instead of she sacrificing herself for friend without any strong reason other than doing so for friendship n just to be with her close buddy even in death

Again here we are dealing with teenagers' story, shouldn't expect much from the plot and the writers, I guess .

But for another gal character (who is bothered about ranks and master key of school), she is ready to fake her death, manipulate another friend into suicide and murder another friend, even though being a teenager 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyways, a GOOD HORROR WATCH !

Not Scary! A STORY OF COMPETITION, JEALOUSY, FRIENDSHIP n OBSESSIVE LOVE!!

After watching the first three movies, I'm convinced that this Franchise is more of Psychological Horror.
They are sad stories with Human Emotions Dominating, while Supernatural, Ghost Elements are just side tracks to attract horror genre lovers :/
(Also Only the last 30-40 mins is the interesting part n need to bear the first one hour chaos! )

I remember watching few of these in my younger years n all these years, had an impression that they are Scary Horrors, Silly Me! 🤭
But now as an adult, re-watched n I don't find any scary horror element in this :/.
The human emotions n the reasons why Living turn Ghosts are the Actual Scary Elements!! 😂

Like the first two movies in this franchise, even here, First 1 hour is spent on forming the base n background to the horror part of the story.
The last 40 minutes is where the horror part starts n that is the only interesting part in the movie.

Though unrelated, the first two movies have a bit of confusing n chaotic editing and direction, Clearly this movie is different from those two in those aspects, which is a positive point for this movie.

The plot is Good.
Direction is different n Good.
Editing is Good but a bit confusing at times.
The execution of this plot, the story telling / narration is straight forward (chronological) n direct to the point, unlike the first two movies that go back n forth between the past n present (Non Linear Narration)

Not a Scary horror!

Wishing stairs track in the movie, is very well done.
Liked the supernatural mystery of it - 29th step appears only if ur wish is strong n if appears, ur wish will come true .

More than the Haunting of the Ghost, I find this theme of Wishing stairs, that thought of 29th step itself, as more scary 😂

**** The story / Characters:
High school girls, Gal besties but one loves beyond friendship, while the other doesn't deny or accept openly. So, this is an implied love relationship .
Anyways, it's clear that they are atleast close buddies .

These two main lead actresses acted well .

There is another character (3rd gal), who is a secret admirer of one of the main leads.
(So it's a love triangle? )
Her role gives unclear impressions:
She is bullied by her classmates, have her own issues like weight troubles etc n she acts very hyper all the time.
So, Is she Hyper bcz of the bullying or her personal issues or it's her usual nature?
Also It's unclear whether her character has any mental issues or just over exaggerated acting by the actress to express sad when bullied n shy when she confronts her crush.

This makes me think that she (3rd gal) is more weird n scary than the ghost😂

At some point, looked like a psycho obsessive lover killings (3rd gal) than a possessed person killings (3rd gal being possessed by her crush, the Ghost) 😂
(later in the story, it's made clear that it's the second one)

For eg, What's with the glass pieces in ballet shoes, who n why they did is not clear ( unclear bcz of bad lighting/cinematography or bad print?)

There is no suspense or scary part in this, like in usual horror movies.
Even the bgm didn't bring the horror effect (like in the first movie)
The Haunting scenes doesn't give much horror vibe.
Instead IT'S A SAD STORY OF THE GIRLS! :(

Marc - Pawin in "Dangerous Romance" are a hot headed couple.
While here, are a Naive Innocent Cute couple.
I love the variations! :)

Pawin acts well in any role, be it be a funny goofy comedic support role
or a serious selfish evil bad boy
or a cute innocent boy
or a seductive lover role.
Also he is damn handsome in any role n in any style :)

Marc is still baby faced here , he is just 17-18 years in this :o
He is a bit stiff faced here but in his next dramas, improved his acting a lot n I love his presence .

Their scenes are really Good with soft Piano BGM
Both of them looked good in pants ( college days) than in school uniforms, haha

Aun Napat is cute n acted well .
He is just 16 years in this :)

Twin boy JJ got a pairing in this drama, with an actress :)

Fiat's acting n his singing voice are good

Surprise!
Side couples have more dialogues n more screen time.
For a moment, looked like Fiat is the main lead bcz of his more screen time😂

***** The HEADACHES that I don't like n don't want:
Slow Paced.
BGM is Loud n Weird in most of the scenes.

Direction, Screenplay, Acting, Sound, characterisation of each role, Everything is Weird at times..
Also at few story points, the plot is written poorly without any logics (plot holes? )

For some scenes, The Editing is so weird, it's like jumps in the storyline n in the flow of the story.
Looked like a compilation of scenes cut from here and there.
And so the story progression n execution is bad n created some confusion.

Everything could have been better, WASTED a GOOD POTENTIAL Story n so maybe Pawin's good acting in this drama, didn't reach more :/
I always like to watch him in any role he plays!

Spoilt a good coming of age, fluffy teenage love story :(

Initial episodes, everything is very cute;
Later got confusing (plot n screenplay)
n towards the end, it's Ok!

NEED TO WATCH BOTH THE SEASONS!

Thought provoking work!

Makes one to give Serious Deep thoughts about Life.
Makes one to introspect n feel how blessed one is, to be happy n together with a family or loved ones at every stage of one's life, instead of getting sympathy or care from strangers.

Everytime, there is this pricking despair in my heart, whenever I remember Kotaro's lonely struggles n him trying to be mature beyond his age, trying to be disciplined with a specific individuality, trying to be happy like an adult in such a young age all alone, instead of throwing childish tantrums.
He really can't afford to be like every other child of his age :(

It really surprises me how such a little boy can live all alone!? :O , Looks unrealistic but it may happen.

WELL DIRECTED! KILLING is a STRESS BUSTER to that MONSTER !? HORRENDOUS!

The real life serial killer, "The Raincoat Killer" discussed here, inspired the Crime Thriller Movie "THE CHASER"

And is one of the cases in the Crime Profiler Drama "THROUGH THE DARKNESS"

Usually, I'm not much into documentaries but since this case has inspired a movie n a drama which are two of my favourite crime dramas, wanted to give a try to this documentary.

This is a WELL DIRECTED Documentary about this horrible killer.
Keeps us INTERESTED, throughout all the three episodes.

Directing a documentary is very different from that of a movie / drama n this direction n production team did their part very well.
For eg, The Camera Angles to be used in a documentary for blurring the real people in interviews etc or those cam angles used to hide their identity or those angles used during the reenactment of some scenes by actors without showing their faces etc, actually makes the direction of a documentary so different!

(A documentary has to be done with an "extra care", while revealing true facts about the real events or hiding the identity of few real people,
unlike the usual movies/dramas/entertainment shows)

The interviews of the Real Crime Profiler, the Police Detectives team and the Forensic team, who worked on this case back then, give an insight of their troubles and mental effort they faced while tracking down this MONSTER.

Reading a Criminal's mind is Scary n Disturbing! :(
On top of that, dealing a SERIAL KILLER or profiling/analysing the psychology of that brutal person, is so TIRING MENTALLY.

Knowing the INNER THOUGHTS OF A CRIMINAL, esply a serial killer, is Very Creepy, sends chills down the spine! 😱
And it's a HELLISH SUFFERING for the Profiler n the team to listen, observe and analyse those evil thoughts and to stay cool without being provoked :(

Oh My! How did they even tolerate that mental agony! :(

Seriously, this guy's tale is gruesome to watch! Ufff🙄

NO REGRETS, watching this! Oh my Nam Gil Oppa! What have U done to me, haha

ALERT: Be aware of the EXPLICIT CONTENT in the movie!

**** INITIAL THOUGHTS:
Guess, some of the famous KDrama actors, did act in a BL, in their younger years.
Surprised, when found "Just friends" KD short film
n even more Surprised, when found this work of Nam Gil ! :o

That too, a Very Bold acting by Nam Gil n a lot of EXPLICIT CONTENT, Totally Unexpected !! :o 🤭

As an admirer of Nam Gil, previously expected a Bromance utmost but found a BL, OmG! :o :)
(My sleeping Fujoshi eyes and heart are drooling n blushing, haha
I need to discipline those now! 🤭)

**** THE IMPRESSIONS:
First of all, The SCREENPLAY n EDITING are really BAD.
It's like sudden cuts in scenes and dialogues, picking scenes here and there n added together to look like a story.
This spoils the mood to watch the movie but just for the actors n the story, I continued watching.

The Director and these actors went ahead n made a REVOLUTIONARY WORK in those times when it's still a taboo concept in the industry.
Their EFFORTS are to be appreciated!
Acting by both the actors is really BOLD.

Many scenes are directed like those with hidden meanings, like an art work :)

Here Young Hoon's acting n his role are very good compared to Nam Gil's.
Though being an admirer of Nam Gil, I liked Hoon's character more, haha
U, truly sympathize with his character :(

**** STORY / CHARACTERS :
The story n the charcters are well written, well acted by both.

(BTW, this story reminded me of Hollywood movie "My Pretty Woman" but that is a softer version than this.
This has got more emotional depth and struggles)

The plot is a very emotional love story, a FORBIDDEN LOVE in the times when it is not accepted by society (or spoken about, in public, without any sort of discrimination).

It's really PAINFUL TO WATCH both the MLs struggling with Life n Love.

One is rich but a closeted guy with a burden of societal expectations, pressure from strict parents n forced marriage. But can't get over his unrequited love, a love at first sight, goes to any extent to claim his lover :) (n even became a stalker too, OmG! :o)
Anyways, He is helpless! :(

While the Other is completely poor, struggling with financial problems and going to any extent, going into any profession, to get out of those troubles.
Basically, he is in a situation, where he can't even follow his heart n accept the rich guy's strong love towards him (but a secret affair) :/
He is helpless!! :(
That sad frustration n helplessness is well shown in his acting, perfomed really well.
( Requested Viewers Discretion for his profession and the Related EXPLICIT CONTENT )

Nam Gil's role initially looks like an annoying stalker but when U understand his point of view, his True situation n his strong love for Hoon's, U sympathize with him too.
Actually, He is not brave enough to go against his parents or open up to his fiancee till the end and at the same time, can't give up his Love for Hoon's.
That frustration n struggle is well performed n delivered by Nam Gil .

I really didn't understand to which character out of these two, I should feel sad n bad :|

All their intimate scenes are VERY NATURAL and REALISTIC.
They have a lot of sweet kisses n their lovey dovey scenes though very limited, are sweet.
Their piggy back walks are cute :)

**** SPOILER ****

The TWIST in the story is when both took an "extreme step" to claim their love back or avoid their stalker lover (using violence / Guns :o ) and failed, haha.

And what's with the climax :o
Why on the Earth, does One plan a MURDER SKETCH for love !? :O
I find this as a Funny n Scary idea, haha.

Yeah, there are psychopathic people who murder their lover, take extreme steps for love when not reciprocated.
But here, both of them are just softies, incapable of any sort of violence, they are just frustrated n so didn't expect a turn in their characters arcs, for love to these extremes.
SURPRISED !! :o haha.

**** ENDING:
Expected a Sad ending for this forbidden love but surprisingly, a Very Happy Ending :)
That reconcilation in the end, is a funny and sweet moment! :) 🤭

**** RATING:
I am sucker for emotional stories, haha
Though painful, I watch them a lot n later admire them, if found them to the mark😏
So just for the Nam Gil n Young Hoon's acting and the beautiful emotional story, my Rating is 8.5 / 10.

Else should be 5, for the bad editing.
(Editing really spoilt the potential reach of the movie and the actors, I guess)

Haha, A GOOD FAMILY DRAMA WITH A TOUCH OF HORROR !?

(Bear with me! My Review is lengthy n detailed!!)

A fun watch of horror thriller with a Good mix of family drama.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:
Expected a lot seeing the Title "See Your Haunted House", expected a very interesting, gripping, a very thrilling n SCARY HORROR but not upto the mark.

Instead, this is a Pleasant Good horror without much "jump scare" horror.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS:
This is DIFFERENT, not the usual horror trope.

LESS HORROR, LESS COMEDY, more revenge seeking or relieving spirits n their wishes fulfilment journey by MLs on behalf of ghosts n their families ;)

Also it's MORE of a FAMILY DRAMA (either Main leads' past or ghosts' back stories) than a horror comedy thriller.

Overall, GOOD PLOT!

The intertwining of Haunted property /Ghost cases and the Personal Past Story of the Main Leads with a Horror Touch, is WELL WRITTEN.

Direction, Production, Cinematography are Good.
Screenplay n Editing are REALLY GOOD.
Even the Visual Effects are Good.
OST n BGM suits well to the mood / tone of the drama.

**** EPISODES:

At times, PACING is Slow n boring
Remaining times, it's Very Good n Thrilling.

First 10 eps are general ghost / haunted property cases (1 case per ep )
Here FL's importance is more than ML
( lil flirting by ML, lil comedy )

Last 6 eps are more about the past of Main leads.
This is more like a suspense family drama, dealing with dead family members. That suspense is well maintained.
(Here flirting is zero, zero comedy)
Both their characters are given equal importance here n both are highlighted individually too.

Last 4 eps are more interesting.
Pacing is faster than that of previous 12 eps.
A bit rushed but this pacing is good n right, since a lot of actual story happens in these last 4 eps only.

Back story of the MLs / past mystery is revealed in ep 13.
Few unclear plot points previously are made clear here.
(like why mom being an exorcist, not a virgin psychic, was possessed in the past etc)
Everything makes sense and every move of every character looks reasonable .

**** HAUNTED CASES:

Dealt around 18 exorcism cases (including mom, uncle, villain, assistant's baby, 2 powerful Faceless ghosts, called egg ghosts here).

Initially, each ghost case looks mediocre but the after-story of the ghost, adds the actual EMOTIONAL DEPTH to each case.

The scenes where the Ghosts are identified, are SCARY.
The powerful Egg faceless ghosts are VERY SCARY, especially the second one.

The entire story of second faceless ghost is THRILLING n EXCITING, with a lot of NAIL- BITING SUSPENSE
There is a constant fear n suspense about which one of the MLs will survive or will they be able to save each other n how etc .

The exorcism part of each ghost has some action sequences .

Some ghost stories are of normal, vengeful ghosts.
Some are very Good.
Some are very Sad n emotional, for eg, sugar eating old man, old woman in a flat etc.
Some cases are solved without using that usual hair pin, without the need to stab. These are the Only Cases where the ghosts are relieved / warded off Peacefully, for eg, mom, lil gal, neighbour's son etc .

The Psychic ML absorbs the memories of the ghosts during the exorcism and retains those for a week or so.
During that period, he is very funny in some cases.
For eg, in old woman's case, he starts cleaning everything, unconsciously 😂
In some other cases, it's painful n dangerous to ML.

**** CHARACTERS, ACTORS:

Liked ML, he is silly, lovely n fun to watch :)
Jung Yong Hwa is handsome n his acting is natural in this :)

He, his friend and one thug guy are the comedic relief in this drama to some extent .

FL is cold n grumpy but warm hearted (Tsundere)
Sad all the time for her mom - reasonable .
(She never smiled in this entire drama :o, only once she gave a faint smile to her assistant in ep 15 :) )

But she is VERY COOL whenever she saves ML everytime.
(Usual KDramas are like hero saving the damsel in distress but it's reverse here, haha
Anywys, by the end of the story, even he saved her 2-3 times).

I liked her DEDICATION to save every living person troubled by spirits and also relieve every wandering vengeful spirit n help it to go to the afterlife .
She really can't ignore a spirit wandering around.

Towards the end of the story, she changed a lot with the love from her team members (ML, his frd, her assistant lady).
It's good to see FL lively n active. Her changed dress sense is good.
She is so sassy in those short outfits! 😏

I want to see more of this happy FL n naughty ML duo! :)

(Everyone, who is expecting Romance in this Horror, should know this :))

It's BROMANCE, not ROMANCE!! 😂
(Yeah, I know it's a gal - guy Main Leads ;) )
(Watch it, u'll know what I mean)

Here, the Primary Focus is on Freeing the Spirits as a team, so can't expect romance between colleagues/partners (Main Leads) .

Also the writers are so oddly creative n intelligents to write the "condition" that a Psychic should be a Virgin!
Or Leave the Team, if u prioritise Dating 🤭

Poor Virgin Psychic, In Beom!
No romance, no dating for life, if he has to remain in this job! 😂💔

**** SOME LIFE LESSONS:

Ep 13, one lady to ML:

How not to become a vengeful spirit:
If someone helps U, be Grateful n say thank u immediately.
If someone gets hurt bcz of U, Apologize immediately.
If U have loved ones, Show Affection every now and then.
LIFE IS SHORT, DON'T HOLD BACK ANYTHING!

This Life lesson how not to become a vengeful ghost is good.

**** SOME MOMENTS THAT I FOUND FUNNY:

1) This is DIFFERENT, not the usual horror trope.

Usually, in other horror movies, a ghost creates a menace n the "ghost busting team" learning it's sad story, helps in fulfilling it's last wish / revenge and the ghost leaves PEACEFULLY!

Here, Ghost is forced to Leave First by that stab at heart, whether it's angry or relieved.
n later the team avenges its death or fulfills its last wish, which The Ghost has No Clue at all :o

So the ghost's close ones are at PEACE, not the ghost itself !? :o
Writers r oddly funny!😂

POOR GHOST, NO RIP ( No "Peace" in Rest) !? :o 🤭

2) In usual horrors, ghosts possess anyone and everyone 😂

Here it needs a potential person (psychic) to possess and create menace / take it's revenge etc.
At times, I found this funny but again, this is demanded by the story - this shows the actual importance of the Psychic ML role

(For eg, villain is not troubled though uncle's spirit is beside him all the time. Uncle's spirit spoke to him angrily, only when he possessed Psychic ML in ep 6 or 7 fight scene.)

3) *** SPOILER ***

I found "the end" of the main villain, funny (slipped on stairs n just RIP? 😂)
But then the TWIST is surprising n GOOD.
That funny end is not the actual end of him n his "real end" given by MLs is deserved n well written .

4) A lot of product ad placements, like in Thai dramas ;)

**** THE ENDING:

VERY SMOOTH n HAPPY CLOSURE to this story.
It was a PLEASURE to watch that Warm Ending :)

I need a SEASON 2 now :)

Intially FL is all sad, cold n also the entire team has some disturbances among them.
So the cases solving etc is lil dull :/

But by the end, everything is cleared n all formed a really close bond :)
The team dynamics changed drastically :)

So now, I Need to see More Cases solved by this team of 4, with this HAPPY n GOOD RAPPORT:)

Picked this to watch, only for GULF but surprisingly, found an AMAZING WORK (though incomplete)

Usually, gender bender /gender swap fantasy plots are always FUN TO WATCH.
And for a student project level, this is Good, AWESOME!

The Plot, Acting, Direction, Music, Pacing of the story, Cinematography, Editing, everything is RIGHT TO THE POINT!
Though an university student project (low budget), Production looks rich

All actors did well.

Friendship of ML n his best friend is sweet.

The librarian lady is funny ;)

Unfortunately, it's just a student project with one episode and the mystery related to the book is left halfway.

The next episode's preview gives a hint of "LOVE PENTAGON" involving ML, his newly found gal soulmate, his ex gf n meanwhile, ML's bestie guy started liking ML in female form :)
(Mr.Director, Pls, continue this into a series, this looks interesting n funny) ;)

Watched this, when Tharntype series was still Ongoing.
That contrast of Gulf's roles - there, all into aggressive kissing n here, doesn't know kissing.. very funny :)
(This hairstyle, here, suits him well in that student role :) )
Now I miss Gulf's frowns, angry looks or those sweet confused side eye expressions :)

As per interviews in Yt n his MDL page, this director went n worked with Star Hunter production n directed big series like "Big dragon", "Sunset Vibes" etc ;o
Hope atleast such big production picks up this fantasy plot and continues this into a full series :/

Even if it is just one episode, they should have atleast given a smooth closure without cliff hangers or unsolved mysteries, by considering this as a short film or so, FOR THE SAKE OF VIEWERS !! :) :(

To be honest, Unfinished business irritates n leaves a bad impression on the amazing work.
We tend to skip such works n so might miss an amazing work - a drawback to both the drama team n the viewer .

There are so many existing short films, miniseries, which have potential for a full series. They all have smooth closure n proper endings n so why can't this?

Hmm enough of my ranting, nothing changes now🤭
Need to accept the unfinished mystery - Someone stole the magical book n I will never know who it is! :|

In simple, the story is about a guy, who doesn't know kissing, have small arguments/ disturbances with his gf.

Later in search of a solution for his issue, turns into a gal because of a magical book, kisses his soulmate, while in female form n turns back into a guy.

That soulmate gal has a crush on him already but kisses him (her) in female form without knowing that her gal roomie is her boy crush.

Meanwhile the ex gf cheats on him with another guy (n so she became an "ex" 🤭 n so ML moves on with his gal roomie)

FUJOSHIS WENT ON A SUPER SILLY FUN RIDE BUT ENDED UP CRYING !? Haha

(Came for Silly Comedy n a LIGHT DRAMA but got slapped on my face with an Emotional Touch !? :o

So all the Fujoshi gals in the drama n in the viewers ended up with Pain ?? 😂)

SOULS SWAPPING trope is always FUN TO WATCH! :)

Promoted as a Comedy series n as said, in the beginning, it's super hilarious but towards the end of the drama, turned out to be very emotional in an unexpected manner.

Since it is about swapping of the souls of a gal n a guy, there is some bromance.
DON'T EXPECT ANY EXCLUSIVE BL STORY HERE.
This is a Teenage Fujoshi gal's love story n her funny imaginations about her "shipping" guys, teamed up with her Fujoshi friend.
This is exclusively from her point of view!)

Storyline, Direction, everything is GOOD (though Not the BEST)

WELL WRITTEN!
Looks like a LIGHT TEEN Drama (high school romance), like a Puppy Love Story of a goofy n silly teenage gal but in depth, it's complicated, confusing n an intertwined story written in an intelligent manner.
(Yeah, there are times, I didn't like the writing but mostly it's Good)
The way Everyone can be "shipped" with Everyone, is written well n funny to watch , haha

Real Life Lessons, not only for teenagers but also for adults - "Don't judge anyone just like that" - This is well executed .

****ACTORS /CHARACTERS:

Every character is lovely n admirable.

Everyone, though young actors, acted well, especially in emotional scenes.

(I personally like First, Fluke, Ohm n Jenny prior to this drama, so was excited to watch this series, back then :) )

First's performance is impressive!
There is a lot of variation in both the characters that he played - one is himself, a guy n another is a gal's soul stuck in a guy's body.
U can clearly see the differences in his acting for both the roles.
(BTW, he is handsome ;)
I like his eyes n his smile :)
His voice reminds me of actor Mew :) )

Fluke is very handsome, I like his acting in general.
But here, he has very less screen time.
(Hope to see him more in future projects )

Ohm is a good actor.
Both the girls did their roles well.

Jenny is a natural comedy actress. She slays whatever role she is given.
She is very funny here .
(But being an angel, she is not of much help as I expected, especially in the end :( )

Jenny n First are the best hilarious duo 😂

Ohm Prig are very sweet :)

n so Every character can be "shipped" with everyone in this! 😂

For eg, Ohm n First have a chemistry with every other actor in the series, I paired them with every gal n guy in the series in my imaginations ;)

That OST song for which Everyone dances, is sweet n funny!

Overall, it is VERY SWEET, HILARIOUS n equally EMOTIONAL!
Can re-watch it endlessly! :)

Happy Ending for hetero couple (Ohm Prig) .

Sad Ending for BL couple (Fluke First)
I rooted for this couple, though this bittersweet ending is inevitable from the beginning of the drama.
Afterall it's a fantasy genre, I expected for some miracle to happen, everyone to be alive n be with their loved ones or some reincarnation n reconciled or whatever (U know, it's all in the minds n books of the Writers ) n hoped for a happy ending for this couple too till the end but all my hopes, expectations and imaginations are in vain :/

EVERYONE FOUND SOMETHING MORE PRECIOUS IN THIS FUN GOLD TREASURE HUNT!

Waited to watch this series for actor Sam Lin :)

This is a good mix of gold treasure hunt / adventure + horror + comedy

The plot is good but maybe the execution of it, is not upto the mark, especially the first three episodes.

The first 3 episodes seemed boring, without any horror activity n only funny here and there.
(These 3 eps can be ignored 😂
Actually, I struggled to continue watching n pass through these 3 eps.
Since I started watching, I couldn't drop the series ;) )

The last 3 eps are really GOOD, where the actual INTERESTING plot or the horror element is.
Even the comedy part lies in these eps only.

The first 3 episodes are mediocre but it got really BETTER in the last 3 eps.
So can give a try! :)

The MULTIPLE TWISTS in the last 3 eps are GOOD.
(Go n watch, haha
Am not revealing the three twists - one is about the gold in the cave and the other two twists are about two team members in the treasure hunt group).

The amount of relief and happiness that everyone felt in the end, saving/freeing 100s of spirits stuck for 60+ years in the cave, is huge! :)

In the end, ALL FOUND SOMETHING MORE PRECIOUS THAN GOLD! :)

****SPOILER:
Though the Treasure Hunt is a Failure n didn't help their financial troubles, everyone has a HAPPY ENDING, moving forward in life in another ways to survive their crisis.
It's a Smooth n a Happy Closure to the treasure hunt project!

(My rating is 7 / 10 now, since the storyline got improved in later episodes, else would be only 6 or less.

If the first 3 eps are also equally good as the last three, my rating would be 8 or more :) )

WOULD BE BETTER, IF IT IS A SHORT FILM.

Usually, I write a Review only if my rating is 8 or above (rarely for a 6 or 7), describing how good the drama is n what I like about it but for the first time, wrote one for a 5.5.
I wanted to share what I don't like about this n for what I struggled to watch in this, haha

A Story of an Obsessive n Aggressive Teen Lover!
Plot is Good
But everything else is not interesting!

It's not the Usual Horror, it's more like a psychological horror, meaning Human thoughts (individual's or of the society affecting an individual) are the Ghosts here!

To be honest, the FIRST ONE HOUR of the movie is a complete waste of time, it didn't add much to the story (except few necessary scenes), most of it are just unnecessary content fillers.

Also, The NONLINEAR NARRATION added MORE CONFUSION to it and made me think what is happening n what the hell did the director actually want to tell.
(Non chronological narration works when there is no much unnecessary content filler , it doesn't work always)

The LAST 40 mins is the ACTUAL STORY and makes everything clear of what the director wanted to convey, haha
(God! Since I started watching, couldn't drop it :/
It would be much appreciated, if this could have been made into a short film)

It's about coming-of-age, teen taboo relationship in an all girls high school, unacceptable by the society (classmates n teachers) n the teen couple's struggles.

One is an obsessive lover n aggressive in nature. The other is not ready to open up bcz of her own fears.

(I didn't expect a love story of this genre, for movies in 1990s, really a bold step by the director n actresses )

How one of them suffered, bullied by her classmates about her sxl orientation, the other scared to open up in public and finally the first one, feeling rejected or misunderstood the other one's fear as rejection, took her life and took revenge on the society (school), which didn't accept their relationship, by creating a lot of Chaos.

This chaos in the climax, is where the horror element is shown.
Here it's just a chaos, sort of attention seeking from the ghost n so there are no murders by the vengeful ghost, like the usual Ghost stories.

What I didn't understand clearly is the necessity of male teacher - student (one of the FL) relationship track.
That didn't add any love triangle or that didn't create any disturbance between the teen couple or that rumour about that teacher n the gal didn't lead to her "ending".
But the actual disturbance between the teen couple is created by the societal alienation, their fears to face that pressure, avoiding each other and so the misunderstandings.
So whether that male teacher n FL track is included or no in the plot, her "ending" is inevitable bcz of that "misunderstood APATHY" from her girlfriend.
And so that "ending" for that teacher is also not necessary .

Anyways, sad love stories of the gals n the male teacher.

Even the gal's character, who is reading the teen couple's diary, maybe the director wanted to show that there is One person, One classmate supporting them - Good
But her DEEP INTEREST in the teen couple's relationship is unclear n UNNECESSARY - Why is she suffering, almost like the alive FL, when she is not even their close friend.
Sympathy n worrying for losing a classmate at an unexpected moment, that shock is reasonable but her horror experiences, those physical sufferings
really necessary!?
Anyways, maybe highlighted her character to add some Horror Activity (which is almost NIL in the movie, haha) n also to show that whoever reads their secret diary, has to suffer!

That teacher's track is more interesting than this diary reading gal, haha 😂
Maybe for more HORROR, they should have elaborated that teacher's track for a love triangle trope or to show some horror activity.

My Rating is only 5.5 / 10 .
Low rating exclusively only bcz of the unnecessary one hour in the beginning of the movie.
(Would be 5 / 10 but for the sad love stories, added 0.5, haha)

The story has a good potential even for a horror genre but wasted .

(I watched this just to finish this Horror Franchise, else would have skipped)
