Great Revenge story with a lot of Violence.

ALERT: The VIOLENCE (gore) depicted here, can be very disturbing n so be aware, it's not for weak hearts (or Angry hearts 😂)

Choi Min Shik, Like Anthony Hopkins or Jack Nicholson scares me everytime with his psychopathic roles, haha

The chasing, hunting of the erial killer by the main lead / secret agent to avenge for his family is very interesting n gripping to watch.

U will be tired n exhausted mentally, watching them running n chasing desparately, haha.

Once again, This has unacceptable levels of gore Violence, so Be aware of that

Hero saw the Devil (dark side) in Villain.
Then Villain saw the Devil (dark side) in Hero
n I saw the Devils (dark, scary sides) in both of them! 😂

Poor boys in trouble, haha

Looks like a weird concept
but DON'T MISS it.

It's just an easy-going, light and a good time pass drama with that Japanese style comedy :)

It's hilarious with the poor boys, esply Tokiwa and Hagi.
Their eyes n minds get confused constantly with the cross-dressing of the gals, who look exactly like guys😂
Their eyes n minds are difficult to sync, haha

Poor Hagi, Lost in that constant confusion forever !! 😂

Sora (our Mitchan frm "Eternal yesterday") :)
n Atsuki frm "My personal weatherman" :)
For both the actors, these roles are a contrast to those previous works and they did very well in showing the variations in the roles - comedic (here) vs introvert (there)

Every actor here played their role very well.

Watched both this Live action drama and Anime.
Both are Fun and enjoyable.

Anime is even more hilarious and covered the extra scenes which are not adapted from the Manga into this live actn.

Started VERY WELL , got WORSE :(

Initially VERY INTERESTING n gripping.

All the guys n gals, literally everyone in the cast are known actors and are my favs, love to watch them perform.

ENJOYED watching fav Cast in this Mystery + Fantasy combo :)

Every episode (/week, I watched this series when it was released 1 ep weekly) with a different story n with many fav actors n amazing cameos is like adventures of the main recurring cast .

It's like ENSEMBLE Cast as guest roles entertaining us every week.

Every week was exciting back then, waiting for fav actors as guest roles n thinking who would be the next fav actor.

Cinematography is very good
Production, direction is good
Story looks interesting

But later STRUGGLED TO FINISH this series! :|

The STORY n ACTING is GOOD but EXECUTION has gone WRONG.
The short stories of each episode are written well like connecting dots to the main story.
Past lives stories are also good.

But later, The story is unclear at times, got dragged n boring, making the main theme Messy.
OmG, the Visual Effects, can't tolerate, just NO :|

Haha, back then, how on the Earth did I wait for this series every week to release n how did I even finish those 10 eps, uff those days! 😂

Good that they wrapped up in 10 eps, else..🙏🏻

(I tolerated much more worse Messy stories but this one, hmm, the bad impression stays forever n I feel sorry to be harsh in the review of my fav actors :( )

Loved the chemistry of Thanapob n Gun :), though they meant it to be just a bromance here .
They can be a good BL couple in future

Gun has good chemistry with any partner, for eg: partnered with a gal in Drama "The Three Gentlebros", he n his chemistry with a gal is Amazing there :)

The same goes with Thanapob, partnered with any one, definitely U will love the couple!

School Menace is Crazy! Haha. Started VERY WELL but left with a BAD IMPRESSION in the END!

Initially, it is VERY INTERESTING n Gripping.
(waited every week to watch it, when I was hospitalized, uff those days! )

FUN TO WATCH the ENSEMBLE CAST.

Every Character is Lovable.
EVERY ACTOR ACTED WELL .
Chimon as autistic, acted well.

This school has a crazy violent way of teaching its students :o

And the students:
Some of them are ready to fight all the time , YOUNG REBELS! Haha.
Simple n Soft teenagers too, turned into young rebels bcz of the school's eccentric methods of teaching n struggling to survive the school menace and violence throughout the school life :) :(
YOUNG REBELS everywhere !😂

The school's / teachers' way of teaching its students is CRAZY - Training them by Bringing out the dark bad angle in a student / young person , so that the person can survive in any sort of good or worse condition in future n in Life!
This concept is So Strange n it's completely a Crazy way of teaching a young person to survive in life! :o

Anyways, as the episodes progress, most of them are just CONTENT FILLERS , kept dragging n got boring.

Could have wrapped this in 10-12 eps, instead of 18.
If so, my rating would be 8.5/10 but now it's just 6.5 .

Wanted to give 8+ for all my fav ensemble cast in this and their performances :)
But since there is a lot of Repetitive content in these 18 eps, Just bcz of it, rated low n not for the actors' performances n sad to give a bad rating to my fav actors' show.

If the same story would have concluded in 12 eps like the usual Thai dramas' duration, definitely it would be 8+ :)

Since it is star-studded (most of the gmmtv actors are in this :) ), Gave a try.
Leaving the repetitive content, U can GIVE a TRY, just for your fav actors! :)
(Most of these actors have individual fandoms)
Except the repetitive content, remaining, U'll love it (like Me) :)

Adachi's weird friend has a funny love story too, haha

I love the first couple more than this one.

Tsuge character is 30 yrs n Minato's is in his early 20s , with a gap of less than 10 yrs.
Even the actors' age gap is just 6 yrs, irl.

But here their styling/looks made it look like an age gap of 10 - 15 years n Minato's actor looked like a teenager .

It totally SUPPRESSED MY INTEREST IN THIS COUPLE here.
Thai counterparts didn't have this issue n so loved them there :)

Also individually, I loved Tsuge character in the Manga n his Thai counterpart, Jinta but here didn't impress me at all.

But here, the Tsuge actor at times made it hilarious n more weird with the "Japanese weird jump scares" sort of acting 😂

Also the love advices, Tsuge gives to Adachi when required are so good, mature n serious, though he himself is inexperienced practically n is funny n goofy when it comes to his own love (yes, he has bookish knowledge by writing romance novels).

That DUALITY OF TSUGE!! Haha

So am happy to see Adachi's friend, having his own love story :)

LOVE THIS BUT NOT OBSESSED! (Unlike JDrama version)

I'm obsessed with JDrama live action version.
LOVE THIS BUT NOT OBSESSED!
Maybe that's bcz I watched JD live actn first, Anime next n then this.
For me, JD live actn had set up a high mark for KuroAda's story already n so makes me to compare any other adaptations with it as a reference.

I'm a FAN of TAY n NEW individually or as a couple n watch almost every work of them, even when they do a cameo :)
But somehow I DIDN'T FIND THE SPARK of Kurosawa's story in this.
To be honest, sometimes I get a vibe that this is a different BL, not KuroAda's magical story :|
n so I treat this as a separate work n then LOVED it, haha

One thing I LOVE about this is, it introduced me to the wonderful actor, JUNIOR :)
He SLAYED character JINTA (Tsuge's counterpart)
While Tsuge didn't impress me at all in JD live actn.

I loved Junior - Mark couple more than its JDrama counterpart :)

DON'T MISS TO WATCH THIS, it covers the scenes which are not adapted in JD live action and U FIND THOSE LOVELY!! :)

Me not cursing the lift doors closing so quickly (the Iconic KuroAda Elevator scene)😂
but yeah, We don't always need an exclusive "ssiK" scene for a smooth closure of a beautiful Happy ending :)

Thought provoking work!

Makes one to give Serious Deep thoughts about Life.
Makes one to introspect n feel how blessed one is, to be happy n together with a family or loved ones at every stage of one's life, instead of getting sympathy or care from strangers.

Everytime, there is this pricking despair in my heart, whenever I remember Kotaro's lonely struggles n him trying to be mature beyond his age, trying to be disciplined with a specific individuality, trying to be happy like an adult in such a young age all alone, instead of throwing childish tantrums.
He really can't afford to be like every other child of his age :(

It really surprises me how such a little boy can live all alone!? :o , Looks unrealistic but it may happen.

Need to watch both the seasons.
Both the seasons are good and both the seasons are equally important to complete the story n to teach the bitter reality of Life!
(Season 1 is a bit more good :) )

DON'T DROP THIS DRAMA BCZ OF FIRST FEW EPS. IT'S 9+ / 10 LATER !! :)

Zombie / Disaster / Survival themed Sci-Fi movie lovers will definitely love this drama (I enjoy watching such themes).

If you are bored to watch anything serious and is in a mood for light-hearted drama with this Zombie theme to pass your time, u can go ahead n watch this.

**** EPISODES:

First 3 eps are OK, lil slow n didn't capture my interest much.
There's no much of Zombies' Attack & Chasing in these eps, except 1-2 scenes.
Just the Introduction of the characters n building the background for the actual story took almost 3 hours (3 eps, uff :/).

But continued watching for the Zombies (hehe) n it got Interesting only from ep 4.

It is VERY INTERESTING n CAPTIVATING from ep 7 👍🏻

**** PLOT :

This is not exactly the usual Zombie theme (usually, Zombies are like dead ones, walking).
This is about a Virus Outbreak, making the infected people look like Zombies with characteristics like biting healthy persons and drinking their blood.

So here, the Virus Infected are Blood thirsty beings, feeding on humans for some time only n remain as humans for remaining time -- This is something New n Different from the usual Zombie movies 👍🏻

And the Plot is mainly about the adventures of the main characters and a bunch of other characters with different personalities during the lockdown in their apartments due to the Virus Outbreak, waiting to find a cure and with a very subtle romance side track of the main leads.

If you are expecting a lot of Zombies attacking one human, chasing n running across the streets -- No, it's not that.
"Many Virus Infected' vs One Human -- You can find only 2-3 such scenes.
This is in confined space and One Infected vs One Human, all the time.

Direction, Production n Pacing are Good enough.

Never expected a confined space like an apartment can give such a Story full of Suspense in this genre -- The Suspense like who will be infected next n whether they will survive or no, is built very well.

Plot is not super strong or emotionally engaging but the suspense kept me looking forward to further episodes and this is FUN TO WATCH!

Story Narration is lil poor or boring at times but overall, I enjoyed and loved this alot :)

Infected people -- their Make up n Acting is Very Good.

OST - Opening theme music is Very Good.

**** CHARACTERS:

Started watching for Hyung sik Oppa but wow, Hyo Joo is the FL! :)
(didn't check the cast before, hehe.. she is my fav in the drama "MOVING").

Love Badass FLs only when they act bold n logical/smart but can't tolerate the arrogant types.
So didn't like FL, Sae Bom in initial episodes -- it didn't look cool or bold, it looked arrogant :/
Anyways, She got better from ep 5 and is actually One of the Best characters in this drama, loved her character in later eps alot :)

Loved ML, Yi Hyun -- He is more logical n smarter than FL.
FL is bold but acts immediately without second thoughts at times of need, whereas ML assess their next moves n the situation before jumping into action 👌🏻

From Ep 4, ML got more screen time.
Till ep 3, he has very less unlike FL.

The Power couple - Smart Yi Hyun n Bold Sae Bom, managing the Chaos n the investigations in apartments during the Virus outbreak n lockdown, play the Good cop and Bad cop very well, hehe.

They are Sweet together.
They are more like Friends, Besties or "Partners in Adventures" than Romantic interests until the end (though his is one side love from schooling).

Hyung sik n Hyo Joo, in Action roles (Police detective roles), are Very Cool together.
Give this pair more Crime Action dramas, please! :)

Lil gal is smart.
Loved these characters -- ML, FL, their police frd, lil gal, Sister brother duo, 15th floor guy, cleaning lady (curly hair one) n supermarket gal.

At times of troubles, how people react n act, can be seen by each character --
Some act bold n try to restore balance in the chaotic scene (ML n FL),
Some try to take advantage (Lady who wants to be the apartment committee president),
Some remain silent,
Some give up,
Some are selfish (old couple's son), Some are greedy, manipulative n pure evil (that doc guy).
Everyone's true colours, whether selfless or selfish, are exposed only during such times.

It got Interesting from ep 4, when the Lockdown started.

And more interesting from ep 7 with apartment politics and manipulations among themselves during the lockdown.

Every Lookout/ Search for infected people, is like a Mini Adventure.


Eps 10, 11:
Virus outbreak turned into Murder Mystery and Mass Murders drama, haha.

Humans are the Real Monsters in tough times.
They are more dangerous than Monsters in such times bcz of their greed, selfishness n evil manipulations.


Ep 10 -- Murder mystery of Who killed the Cleaning lady n the Mystery of where the 15th floor guy is, are interesting.
Suddenly, there's a Serial Killer suspicion too, haha.

Ep 11 -- Even "Plot Armour" couldn't help ML, Aigoo! ;) :(

BTW, I find it funny for this drama to be named as "HAPPINESS" -- it's so random, there's Nothing emotional or happiness in this plot.

**** RATING:

My Rating is 9.5 /10
bcz it's not at all boring from ep 4, for this genre.
(0.5 less bcz of the first 3 boring eps).

Give me S2 with our power couple going after another trouble to solve, am happy to watch them :)
