I’m with you. He isn’t the bio dad. Period. The whole theme of the drama is loving a child that isn’t your…
"ask JH to sneeze on it" 😂😂😂 Honestly, though, JH seems pretty unimpressed by SJ. I can imagine him getting so disgusted by her vengeance plansthat he actually decides to help TK and YD fake a DNA test (swap hair sample with TK or something). He doesn't want the baby anyway, so he wouldn't care, and I think SJ's obsession could really irritate him.
I had the same thought and it seemed to be reinforced by the preview... but it could just be that he's testing…
Yes, it did occur to me that he might be trying to see what SJ is up to. If we have one villain trying to get to YD, while another villain is keeping an eye on villain 1 and thwarting her plots, it could get hilarious. SJ is evil but unable to assess character, and KJH is cunning but stupid and clumsy. Together they could be comedy gold!
Are they laying the foundation for an eventual redemption arc for her? "It wasn't really her fault, given how…
The writers of YLAG tried SO hard to make the audience feel sorry for SaRa by giving her a sad backstory, then a miscarriage, etc..., but it fooled no-one into sympathising with her. Some characters are unredeemable.
He kinda seemed to always perk up when her name was dropped, yeah. At the very least dirtbag regrets choosing…
Although the half-brothers idea would be weird for YD (it sounds like a magazine strapline "I'm in love with my baby's uncle") it could make any DNA testing hilarious. If SJ secretly stole some of the baby's hair and some of TK's and sent it off for one of those instant k-drama DNA tests, would it come back as a match?
Ok I'm just gonna rant randomly cuz the last two ep felt like I was on a ROLLERCOASTER RIDE. I had butterflies…
It's only a few weeks since YD was completely and utterly betrayed by the man she thought she was going to marry. Since she discovered her boyfriend was cheating, she's also realised she's pregnant, lost her job, had to deal with hatred and anger from TK's family and SJ, and some fairly nasty behaviour from her own family in the beginning. This has all happened during less than 2 months, while her hormones are all peculiar because of the pregnancy anyway. I know I would be a complete mess too, and crying a lot more than YD does! It also means that she's terrified that if she does give in completely to TK, he might turn out to be like KJH in the end. KJH has destroyed all her trust. I think her suggestion is her way of saying "I do want to date you, but I'm scared, so let's put a time limit on it so I feel safer".
I am having once more the what if TK is really Jinjja's bio father debate on twitter, and i have a visceral NOPE…
People have been trying to push that theory since the beginning and I have the same reaction. I don't think the writer will do it (PLEASE writer, I trust you!) for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it was said by the writer/production team when the drama began that this was going to be a drama about unconventional families. They have set up a whole lovely plot about TK's love for Real proving to him that is own stepfather also loves him. Don't mess that up. Secondly, if the writer uses the netizens' favourite theory - that Real was conceived by TK and YD during a drunken one-night-stand - it would astonish me. Family K-dramas tend not to promote being so incredibly drunk that you sleep with someone you don't know and neither of you remember it afterwards.
we don't know why she is around in a lot of scenes tbh as absolutely useless as this blunder broad is. But here…
This is a good point. YD and TK already dislike SJ, but when they realise she was the woman JH was seeing while dating YD, they're going to hate her even more. If SJ is still thinking that she can use all her clues to get TK all to herself and make him hate YD, she's seriously insane. All her evidence is stuff that will work against that plan.
And it hasn't been mentioned yet, but it was a nice touch that SJ was cut off at the knees when HW told her that…
The point when she realises that TK doesn't care one bit that Real isn't biologically his, but still loves YD and the baby, will be the moment when she tries to enlist JH's help. He doesn't even want the baby, but he *does* want revenge on TK, so he'll probably go along with her plotting right up to the point of asking for custody of Real. I think that's where SJ's plans will collapse though. A man who has already demanded twice that the baby should be aborted isn't suddenly going to want to fight a long custody battle for it. JH might go along with all SJ's threats, but he'll never sign anything to make it legal.
Don’t think so as the whole premise of this story seems to be loving a child that isn’t your biological one.
I agree. That would spoil the whole concept of the drama, which is so far showing that unconventional families (YD and her family/TK and his parents) can be more loving than biological ones (SJ and her parents/the rest of the Gong family).
It would also be odd of a family drama to promote getting so drunk that you can't remember who you slept with.
I would be disappointed in the writer if they did go down that route. We need to see TK bringing up Real as his own even though it's JH's biological child, and realising that his own stepdad does love him as though he was his own too.
