In the weekend drama genre, I especially liked My Father is Strange.

Was it really thr Missong Persons Bureau who contacted them though? It wouldn't be surprising if JH had got someone to fake a call from them. I hope the family check things thoroughly without blindly believing... oh, hang on! I must have forgotten what I was watching. Of course they won't!

True. Also, people lie in many different ways. Asking a question has to be done very accurately to get the absolute truth. For example, a wife's "were you out with another woman last night?" could be answered with a "yes" because he was with this mother or sister, but when it shows up as a truth it seems bad. It could also be answered with a truthful "no", which she might be pleased about, but it could turn out that he was with his boyfriend.

Well, most of them are the same person... 🤣

Is there any way JH could coincidentally discover that he's infertile, so Haneul can't possibly be his anyway, triggering huge confusion and allowing for the bonkers knetz theory? It would definitely be fun to see his face, but I can't think of a situation where this could happen.

I suspect that her "redemption" in the drama will be when someone (probably her husband) finally manages to point this out to her, and she will be wracked with guilt. Unfortunately, by then most viewers won't forgive her.

He probably would have murdered me by now if I was a character in the drama, because he would have stormed in and threatened me with a knife and I would have laughed in his face.

His "roll eyes upwards into head, pout and glare" angry face makes me giggle every time.

Has Mr Jang met him again yet since the "wedding"? I suspect his tale of being beaten up by JH at the wedding might add fuel to the fire too when it comes out (unless the writer has completely forgotten). There's also the information that JH was cheating on YD with SJ all those months ago. At some point all these will be revealed, and might possibly change some people's perspectives.

I'd be wary of believing the whole preview. The part with YD's family may be misleading. I don't think BN will throw her out.

I think most of YD's attitude could be explained by postnatal depression and the pressure of becoming a mum without her family around to help her. Add on the fear of being stalked by JH and she's probably reacting in a fairly realistic way. Yes, we prefer our drama female leada to be feisty and brave, but this is far more how most of us would actually react.

Ah, good luck, then. Since it's so popular, they might even add a few more episodes. Young Lady and Gentleman was almost as popular as this show, so two extra episodes were added at the end.

YD's family are all very convincingly similar, and in YLAG I would have completely believed that those three children were really related.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but my vague memory is that he wants to get revenge on her family, so he and his friend have a bet about the FL and her sister. He also wants to avoid his grandma trying to marry him off, so if he asked her to pretend to be his girlfriend, grandma might try to make him marry her. Also, there are already rumours in the company, because of the way he behaves with his friend. Working with existing rumours is easier than creating new ones.

His brain works very, very slow. LOL

I honestly hope they use an ironic twist for SJ and make her character actually infertile. After all her lies about it at the beginning it would serve her right, and would save the world from another generation of her evil genes.

It's episode 8 of a clichéd romcom kdrama. If there isn't a kiss, the writer has lost the rulebook! 😂
