Huh? Why shouldn't he forgive him when everyone Charlie did was trying to protect him?
Because he made life-altering decisions for him, took his power without his consent, then pretty much used emotional blackmail (saying he has to die to return his power) to justify it all. In the novel, how this was handled went down differently.
To think I waited an entire week for it to be another imagination. This series is really good but they are pissing…
I knew it wasn't gonna be real simply because I thought it was too early. Also how the scene came about. I thought it was randomly placed; that the scene became romantic all of a sudden. My biggest peeve about the whole things is that I liked the way the scene was framed in the teasers but none of those shots were used. I think I'm just a little disappointed with the overall moment. Still loving the show with it's blend of police, mythology, and their romance so definitely in it for the long haul.
Ok, this has only dropped a few days ago and I've already rewatched the first episode 4 times. I think I might have a problem. I'm loving the story so far. It wasn't perfect, and had some things it could have improved on, but I'm highly anticipating the coming episodes.
What the heck was up with that kick! Yeah, the quality is definitely less compared to their work on To Sir. On another note, Charn might legit be a psychopath. Don't know how they get to a point of falling in love but at this point I really don't want them to lol. I'll get it the 4 ep test and see where this ends up on my "do I continue to watch" list.
Can I know your reason? Why sad ending?I don't like sad endingðŸ˜
I expected a sad ending, but I think I'm also fine with the one we got. One thing I was definitely certain of was Jia and Li's ending because they were the start of it all. Karma and all that. I wish Jan got a little more coming to her because of all the stuff she did, but I get why she did it too.
Can we give a big shoutout to Mat for being the best spy though! Literally every single thing everyone else did was instantly found out as it was happening or seconds later. Though she wasn't the mastermind, she knew the assignment, correctly played the game, and was only found out because the family was told only when they were going to be of use to her and Xiao Tong. Bravo, woman, bravo.
This was another good ending for a BL series. The series wasn't perfect but its been better than a lot. Sometimes I don't need a serious, super realistic storyline but enough fluff and romance to get me by. One thing I will say though...Sig cracks me up!
PS. Rain and Sky must have some serious thin underwear with the amount of times they have sex with them still on lol.
(HINT: If they shouldn't be noticeable maybe bright blue its the best color to go with 🤣)
Of course, I have. I read serial novels as a hobby. But there is a serious difference between slow burn and intentional baiting. For so many trailers making their relationship the main theme, they are not focused on enough. When a storyline is fleshed out and consistent, I absolutely love the storytelling no matter the genre. Besides, we have multiple plot lines going through this show but all of those are addressed multiple times in each episode, the boys are not. Maybe it'll pick up as I've said it is 28 episodes and it's only been 6.
I'm starting to think this show is clickbait for the BL aspects. I mean I hope it has a really great plot but the trailers I've seen were focused on the guys. They sprinkle in a few seconds of them together every episode to keep their viewership numbers up because of the BL crowd, but if that happens across 28 episodes...
Yup, that NC scene was better than any I've seen in a BL or any other series for that matter. As I realize there…
The level of intensity we get in these NC scene has been raising over the last few years. Sometimes it was just a "suggestion" that a NC happened or it shows maybe two frames of people kissing in bed with a music overlay and that's it. This episode's was another great step between sensual and sexual, the only thing that broke the spell a bit is the fact that they were supposed to already be having "fun times" while riding but the camera panned down too far and we see that Boss with his boxers on lol.
See if we are going to debate about holding characters accountable for consent, or developing Stockholm let's…
No doubt. I agree. It's like what Pete said. There is really no good/evil/heroes/villians, just the decision people make in life. People who have done bad things in life still deserve love but they should still be judged on the actions they take on other people. In this show they have their own way of taking care of things but we can't ignore all the stuff they do just because people want to see two people hook up/get together. Similar situations that happen in real life would be viewed very differently.
