I love this drama! It breaks cliché plot. The younger generation wants to do better than their parents and not follow the evil path. They're civil servants who love their country and want it to improve. Romance is focused on romance not unnecessary annoying triangles and politics are shown with their issues and challenges. Wow! great work!

Joseon was not a huge empire like the chinese, they were not as rich. They also had more sobre refinement and display of wealth, not lavish because of Confucean teachings and stuff.
