Why everyone is asking about R scenes?? Are they that frequent in Thai dramas I don't find many?? Anyone tell…
If you are new to lakhorns i will tell you r-scenes are quite usual in the slap-kiss genre. Its because all lakhorns are based on thai novels from the 50s,60s and 70s where the male-leads are quite aggressive, double standards and hypocrisy is high and where the female leads ends up with their rapist. One thing also is that many popular thai-lakhorns gets remade after a decade (example is "Kluen Cheewit", "Sawan Biang", "Dao Pra Sook", "Koo Gum") and the later years the thai industry have skipped the r-scenes in some slap-kiss lakhorns because the watchers and society have become more modern, and the society itself.
Andrew Gregson is one of the absolute best actors out there,he is a absolute legend on-screen! Have watched several of his dramas and he always delivers so well and just makes the character come alive. Several of his lakhorns was so good they got remade a decade later, but no one can top Andrew`s performance. I love his work from the early 2000s the most, his portrayal of the tortured Chanon in "Luk Mai Klai Ton" from 2000, the loyal and carefree soldier Lak in "Massaya" from 2000, the goofy and fun Tong in " Ruk Kerd Nai Tarad Sod" from 2001 and the explosive anti-hero Traipope in "Tang Parn Kammathep" from 2001. He is so charismatic and talented and always captivate me with his faultless performances.
I haven't watch new lakorn dramas yet this 2021 because Cdrma giving me left and right dramas to watch :) what…
Right now i am on a binge watching Andrew Gregson`s lakhorns.I am so obsessed with him that i always miss him whenever i watch or do something else, lol ,so currently i am watching 1998 version of "Torranee Ni Nee Krai Krong". What are you watching?
I remember when this aired at the time when "Kluen Cheewit" aired and i never thought i would watch it until now when i am on a Andrew binge...love his acting so much that i literally miss him everytime i do something else and i always come back for his lakhorns. So i am obsessed with him. He is soon to be turned 40 in this lakhorn and he still looks so handsome! He also had nice chemistry with Matt. Its also a interesting fact that the actress playing Yo`s mother also portrayed Yo herself in the 1995 version of "Muean Khon La Fark Fah". I really want to watch that version too since it looks to be more intense and passionate.
Andrew`s early lakhorns in this time are so GOLDEN,no wonder they got remade decades later! But i can also see i have lot more to check out from other actors ,i am so excited!
I just finished it and i am crying rivers! Its pretty much a sad tale...really heavy on the angst.
I just checked out your completed list and saw only the 1994 version of Dao Pra Sook starring Num and Kob. Are you sure Andrew starred in the 1999 version? From what i see he only starred in Mai Muang that year.
Oh wow! Then you have a long list of experience in dramas/lakhorns! Today was my birthday,so i just turned 21.
Ah,but its written that it needs to be re-uploaded.
